  1. Hehehe....I just love this day, sadly spring break has caused me to forget about pranking today. Anyways here's just a few i've pulled in the past few years... Invert the mat....you know the vinyl ones with spikes on them...and wait for people to step on them, of course I do this every day. Go ahead walk this way...theres nothing wrong One of my most favorite prank items is saran wrap. Woahoah, this stuff is fun, the amount of things you can do with it is phenomenal. To list a few i've saran wrapped.. -doorways -the toilet (yes some poor soul fell for it, a friend taking a quick midnight bathroom break....) -a friend to his bed (the same idiot) -the ultimate one is when we saran wrapped our coach's truck....at the cost of several miles to be ran Fireworks are always fun, especially this time of year when no one expects any to go off. At night, on porches and in the road are good places to scare people, although this really isn't pranking its just being one a** of a neighbor. A pyro's dream...a neighbors reason to move
  2. OH NOEZ!!! It definitely needs some flood gates, and it would look even better if it took on the classic curve shape that many dams do.
  3. Well you did better than some of us.....I remember my first try on LDraw ........i could never get it to work right.
  4. Technic 8292 Cherry Picker..........which officially makes technic set number 200 for me!!!
  5. :'-( .................................................so sad to see such one go, we will miss you. Yet another inside scandal in the heads of some powerful organization, in this case the eurobrick mods.
  6. Ah a good old retro review. Those old school days had some pretty impressive sets, with alot more complexity than modern sets. If you have it may I recommend 8880?
  7. I had tried magablocks as a kid, and as many of you have found out the pieces are constantly breaking and they don't always fit well, but what finally made me drop them was the crappy creations that resembled nothing like a brick... I can't believe its not a brick! K'nex I had found more compelling, this is something I like for you can construct larger things out of it. Seeing the success of lego, they've gone brick and made their own lego style of construction :-/ Definitely one of my favorites of any thing building is Wrebbit's Puzz 3D. Although you could argue its not construction, its still building, things such as cars and famous landmarks, and makes for some badass results...
  8. Oh well now...! Don't even get me started I have too far long of a list to post on here anyway. Basically since Im a collector it would be any Technic or Bionicle item that I dont currently own.....which Im guessing is around 400 or so items. Considering Im only 17..such a task is phenomenal for someone my age to accomplish. Its not so much what you want, its how your going to get it. A much more logical list to post here is...... 1. Search for a job.... 2. Keep that job.... 3. Spend money wisely 4. Get barked at by boss, lose job, lament for not being able to buy legos... 5. See steps 1-4
  9. Here are some non-crappy images, but note that this is the preliminary show for collectors tonight. You can find all the good stuff here.
  10. X-O 18-1........... ..... ... .. Oh well, foozball is foozball, always next year for another team :-P
  11. Sadly, I have contributed nothing except an onslaught of pictures in just about every post. It seems I a spectator to the events here.......a pawn of other forces that wont allow me to contribute........yet. A poor waiting man.....his day will come!
  12. Ahhhhh yes as proud as I am about my collection, there are a few stipulations I have about them. I have around 40 of my 200 technics on display in my room for all to see. I allow people to see them but NO TOUCHING unless..1) Your a fellow AFOl 2)your hands have been thoroughly washed 3) your at least 13 years of age and mature enough to handle them 4) i have some sort of blunt object or fast action weapon (.38 of mine does nice) around with me. I cant have anyone dirtying up my technics........I cant even stand for dust to be on them making them subject to periodic cleaning. As for my 8880, it has a nice little case around its precious body..... As for my guard......try not to piss him off or he'll rip you into tiny megablock pieces....
  13. X-O 1994 A bad influence.........shame on you. There's a good reason (my ego) 1994 wasn't so bad... And besides bullying, stealing, destruction, drugs, and megablocks have always been around to make things worse for us and better for the one doing it to us. Evidently parophenilia.....could this be a bad influence? Hmmmm, what could this small label on those packages be.........oh my!
  14. Sorting eh..................two problems with it 1) I am impatient, and must build now 2) Really dont care to sort em My preferred method is storing them in tub-o-ware and then dumping em out all on the floor. Its crude but fun, and I like all my parts to be mixed together rather than knowing where they are, it adds an element of search and discovery, whether for mocing or in an actual set. I can see the benefits of organizing and all that ( 8-
  15. Not to stray too off topic, still bionicle related...but............. Where in the hell are all these "BZPers" coming from...I sense an overwhelming power of stupidity and political correctness coming this way. They have come!
  16. Knowing that we all find the defective part, missing piece, crumpled instructions, miss-colored parts, and explosives in our sets there is one defect that I find the worst of them all............................. The Designers! Thinking about it there are good sets and bad sets. Lego over the years has continued to make improvements in its set designs and the diversity of the sets. But they also have succumb to things such as juniorization, poor set construction, etc. This is quite notable in a few themes in recent years. Technic used to have great functional sets such as the super cars8880 :'-), 8448, 8446 off roader, the space shuttle, barcode multi set, the air tech claw rig, etc. The advanced functions (gearboxes, springs, and sadly pneumatics) have been dissappearing and are being replaced by less functional sets. Bionicle has also seen some declines. Take the Inika for example, clone sets, reuse of parts, poor set designs (....what happened to the nuva this year?). To say the least some sets are still superb above all, and I do like many of the new designs. It is the target audience the designers are going after, the money they can make, whatever floats their boat. If you want to find the root of the problem, you can blame the creators for that.
  17. Uhhh..........Inika? Hell no...no true masks, first to have no gears, crappy zamor launchers, there...body design. Personally the Toa Mata will always be the best no matter what, their greatness speaks for itself, nuff said.
  18. Happy Birthday...... Good tiger.....good.... And to you too corporal..........although I have never seen you Hugs....!?!?!?!
  19. TPAM the "I" most likely refers to being the only inhabitant of the desolate fur trade empire of nothingness known as Canada.
  20. Ah the memories.......such a fantastic first set that I had and still do have. I had gotten it when i was around 9 or so, and its still sitting on my headboard for me to always see.
  21. Happy Birthday Grievous Once more, thats one less year..... Cake On!
  22. You should check this book, it will explain it all....... Please note....this in itself may be controversial, even on Mata Nui.
  23. Spiriah is a combiner set, thats why he looks so weird, Just look at the bottom of the picture.
  24. Actually, their sales are doing quite fine, you can go to lego.com for the sales reports. Technic lately has been in a hash of backorders, mostly for the larger flagship sets. People actually want these innovative large sets. Lights? Not really something I like at all, but hey people voted for it on lego.com. The power functions do control the winch and the front suspension.
