Thanks Jim for your complete, objective and detailed review. I appreciate your general feeling at the end of the building. When the only "good" moment is just at the end when the set is finished means the process has not been very enjoyable : repetitve, fragile, not fun, etc... And if we just keep in mind the look with the original model, we are more in the mock-up spirit than in the LEGO concept... That's my opinion.

Nice review thanks. I love this set, i bought two of them the first Day. One for me and the other to offer. The build Can be repetitive and a little bit of concentration IS necessary but i'm impressed with the final result. Have fun.

I'm really happy about that ! We'll get classic minifigs, and won't be under a licence. I Hope a big set with many details. The Lego designer will be Milan Madge who did the excellent F.r.i.e.n.d.s set so i'm very impatient...

I've just finished to build it and it was very pleasant. I'm surprised by the size, i didn't expect it as bigger and taller as is. A great display model, and about the face i'm now ok with this neutral one. Thanks again Whitefang for your great review.

On the ground floor just above the phone they used a motorbogie ornament, element number 6152295, in dark brown, which is pretty cool and a good idea... I think that one particularity of this set is the use of many common elements in a different way... We'll get many good surprises. I love it, i'm so impatient to get it !

Nice review Andy, i'm now more and more impatient to build this model. But i have to buy the necessary sets... I have re-built the chassis 8860 recently and it was a pleasure (i'm 40 years old too...)

Great set, great designer, a must have ! When a "new" person is visiting my LEGO room it's a "whouaouh" looking at this ferris wheel !

I'm very impatient to get it during Christmas ! I'll buy both city trains : 7939 and 3677 ! Adding the Maersk train and the Emerald night that's a very good LEGO trains period !!!!!

This new theme is fantastic, i really like it but i'm very disapointed because that serie won't be available in France !!!!!!! What a shame !! I hope maybe in Toysr us or i will have to go to England to buy it. Your review is very good. Thank you.
