Nice one Aquolina! I like how you did the floor. The handcuffs are a great touch!

Nice Riddler that you got the game so early... I'm still waiting for my pre order (xbox360) How are the controls on Wii? Do you really wave the remote to use magic, or is it just done by pressing a button?
-
Congrats Eurobricks! I'm glad to be one of 10.000!

Holy moly! That thing is awesome... really, I cant stop looking at all the details. Simply amazing!

Thanks for the vid! You forgot Hagrid and Fang, they are also playable.

You can target by holding down the x button, this way you can select items/persons you want to zap/turn in to rats.

D2C Designers requesting feedback for 2012 models
Jippon replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
1.No 2.Individual 3.London Bridge 4.A 1940/1950 style bank, with full interior and a working safe (and maybe a couple of gangsters). 5.Please bring back the Western theme, also I'd like to see more sets based on comics and video games (Batman Arkham Asylum for instance)... The thing I'd love to see most is an Assassins Creed theme, but I know thats never going to happen because of the mature themes. -
Just tried out the demo (it's live!) and must say that I'm a little dissapointed... The game looks very nice, but targeting spells doesn't allways work well and the level design (of the demo level at least) is very lineair. Using crusio on Harry with a death eater (Macnair is in the demo ) never gets old though.

Wow! Really great MOC! My favorite part is the flying carpet!

Ooh, this set is nice! Thanks for the review. I really like the 'simplified' look of the new castle sets, and the figs are awesome!

REVIEW: 8864 Desert of Destruction
Jippon replied to Jjsthekid's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks for the review! I like this set, the minifigs are cool (new caps ftw) and the green is also nice... but all those stickers make me sad Maybe I'll pick this one up, but I'm not shure yet. -
Thanks for the nice review, I was hesitating about picking up this set and this helped me make up my mind. It would have been nicer to see another alien instead of Jawson, but the transformation feature is cool!

Set: #852702 Dwarfs Battle Pack Theme: Castle Year: 2009 Pieces: 42 Minifigs: 5 Welcome to my first review on Eurobricks. I am currently crawling out of my dark ages and trying to get some of the great Lego I missed in the past years. I was lucky enough to find this set, along with #852701 Trolls Battle Pack (review) at an online store. I checked the review database but I could not find another review of this set, so I decided to give it a shot. Well on to the review: The box The box gets the job done nicely, it puts the dwarfs (already taken out) against a nice backdrop of a castle. The dwarfs rest firmly in a plastic slide out, none of them were out of place when I received the set. Back: As you can see, some of the parts are made in China, I know I’m a nitpicker, but still this bothers me a bit because the figs themselves stand out a bit next to other ‘normal’ figs, more on that later. Contents We get five dwarfs (already assembled and equipped) and a bucket with a mallet and a spade. Accessories include two crystal pieces (gold and silver), three axes, a torch, three printed shields and a pickaxe, which I believe looks different from the “not Chinese” pickaxes, but I’m not sure, I don’t have another one for reference at this time. The dwarfs in all their glory. It’s a bit hard to balance them because of the short legs and large accessories, so they lean on their axes for support. I gave them a clean shave so you can see all the different faces, no clones in this pack, which is a big plus! One of them even has a double sided head, with a normal and a scared expression. This one is my favourite, although not particularly dwarf-like, I think it stands out and has that “bring it on” look that a battle dwarf should have. There are two beard types (in black, red(?) and dark brown) and two torso types in the set, I really like the one with the red arms, we get it twice. None of the torso’s have back prints. Front beard And Back beard Quality The overall quality is good; printing is spot on and all the arms work properly. The only gripe I have is with the plastic, it looks (but does not feel) softer than the usual plastic, it is also a bit more matte than that of other minifigs. There’s no neck print and the dwarfs have stamped arms. Conclusion I must say that I am very happy I bought this set; the dwarfs are already enjoying the ale at the medieval market village and will do so until I take that one apart. It loses points for the plastic issues, but gains some for the different faces (that are noticeable, even while half hidden by great, big, bushy beards). I can’t really say anything about value for money because I bought this at a higher price than the srp. Although the box looks nice, I would have preferred an old fashioned cardboard box with loose parts so there would be something to build. But if this is the only way to get lots of dwarfs, so be it. Would I recommend this set to others? HELL YEAH! Gallery with high-res pics (when public): Clicky Thank you for reading this review! Please give me feedback about the way I review, I'm not shure about the layout (text above pics) so tell me what you think.

Great news!!! I'll certainly download it.

Good to know, thanks! Wow nice! I'm really looking foreward to this game :) Being a fan of the old story and freeplay modes, I'm not to excited about the LEGO Indy 2 style bonus levels though.

If my feeling about the game being about collecting items is right, I think the students are collectibles as well, just like the frogs, potions etc. Harry, Hermione and the rest must be the player characters, or pawns if you like. Also, does anyone know if the microfig heads come loose, or are the figs just one part?
-
The map is cool! I hadn't noticed that before Maybe I'll pick this one up as well, not shure yet though.
-
As said earlier, there are frogs in the pic. I think the purpose of the game will be to collect items (Frog, spider, book, potion etc.) and store them in the corner of your color. Looks like a fun and easy to play game.
-
Wow, nice moc! I really like the vulture, it fits perfectly!
-
The sets are seperate from the videogame, shure, there will be semilarities, but only the game is limited to the firs four years. As you can read in the IGN article two posts up, it is very different from the previous games. You progress through the game while Harry gets older, instead of just being able to choose a random episode/book/part/year.

Wow very nice, I wasn't at legoworl this year, but I would have liked to see it in person! Thanks for the pics, I like how it fits in your lego town.

What is the hardest Lego set you have ever built?
Jippon replied to SharkMan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Of all time: The 10030 UCS Imperial Star Destroyer... damn that thing was hard. The fact that is was held together by magnets didn't help either . Still, a very interesting build with a jaw dropping result . Recently: The medieval market village, not necessarily hard, but the fact that it's quite unsturdy made one of the two builings collapse when I was putting the roof bits on.
