Anyone in Perth know if Myers has new stock of the Imperial Flagship? Definitely want to grab one for the 25% sale. Last time I checked (couple of weeks ago), Garden City had a single set in stock; in terrible condition too.

I'm a little confused about the recent news, hoping someone could clarify something for me. Are we expecting new stock of the Imperial Flagship at Myers? And will it be on sale for the mid-year sale?

That is quite a departure from contract law as I know it. Great for consumers though!

That's interesting chrism, because traditionally the buyer makes the offer to the vendor at the counter. I can't find a schedule 3 to the ACL either; could u provide a link? Thanks

Grabbed the QAR from Target Midland for $149. Only one left, there were three when I called a few minutes earleir so they seem to going quick...

Sadly, I'll have to tolerate the high price since there are no guarantees of QAR turning up in mint condition if I order online. At least I can take a good look it when buying locally.

Would you mind keeping us up to date on how you go with B&N? I'd like to know if the goods arrive in good condition or not.

I don't know if WA has it any better than SA. I'd order online but don't want to risk any damage to the box. It would be hard to resist the QAR; anyone have any estimate on an Australian price?

Nothing at Toys R Us in Cannignton, WA today. Just QAR for me, the rest of series doesn't look too interesting. I really hope Lego gets back to the traditional Pirate line; they were much more charming.

I did ppop into Myers Carousel and the Imperial Flagship was in even worse conditionnthan the ones at Garden City. Amazed at how careless they are with something so expensive.

Thanks Clone-Trooper, much appreciated There was definitely no plastic seal, it was sticky tape. Even the large Kingdom set was sealed in exactly the same way. For the less savy Lego consumers out there: take a good look at those boxes! If I didn't check with you guys I might have bit the bullet... and ended up with half an Imperial Flagship lol.

Clone-Trooper, I suspect the Imperial Flahship I saw was opened and re-sealed. The sides were tapped using ordinary sticky tape. Are properly sealed Lego sets sealed in this way? Thanks mate.

No such things as a bad collector! I'm not even going to open mine. It will sit, relic like on my shelf, a tribute to simpler, happier times...

I'll take a mint condition product over the discount. Just a bit of let down after running all around the metro area I suppose its been sitting on the shelf for over a year and things get knocked about. When the POTC hits I'll be sure to snag them early.

Went to Myers today to have a look at the Imperial Flagship. They had three in stock and every single one had a damaged box. One had quite a large hole right through the front. WTF? That is a three hundred dollar product sitting on the shelf and they can't even keep it in reasonable condition? Sigh What a disappointment. If it was in mint condition I don't think I could have resisted...

Thanks for the tip TeufelHund. I forgot the Myer One discount; 10% should bring it to $250 which isn't too bad. I was hesitant to use ebay, boxes tend to get knocked about in transit and I'd like it to be in as good a condition as possible. With the Imperial and Brickbeard, along with the two POTC ships; its going to be an expensive start to this Lego business lol.

Thanks Made a lot of calls, but no Brickbeards Bounty's to be had in Perth it seems. Missed one set by 5 weeks, damn it! The Imperial Flagship is sitting on a few shelves at Myers. Any opinions on whether I can do better than the $279 they're asking for? I'm thinking of waiting for a sale, but with my luck they'll be gone by then...

Hi All For anyone in Perth, is there any chance of getting any of the Pirate sets on store shelves? Someone posted the Imperial Flagship was spotted at Myer Cannignton, I'll likely pick that up if the price isn't too ridiculous. But I was really after Brickbeards Bounty. I was hoping I could get one off the shelf, before resorting to eBay or some other online option.
