it is a really fun and cool build ... paired with moloch's speeder, they are a phenomenal display piece. and the way the roll, play value +1. i cannot say enough good things about those two sets. my only drawback, is the corellian hounds, they are absolutely tiny. i was expecting them to be a tad bigger. not much bigger than a double stack 1x3 brick. that is probably pretty accurate, but ugghhh. the speeders are so reminiscent of late 60's muscle cars. just so very well done! being able to remove the engine on han's and have him tinkering with it ... imho both sets are 5/5 ... everyone is gonna be impressed.

i guess i'm one of the few, i don't mind the angry clone face, whereas i hate the all black head and the cheesy crappy looking happy face printed on the black head ... i can count on one hand the number of stormtroopers i display sans helmet and i have 100's of them ... and i think the battle pack is very massable, getting a new rank for an officer is huge, and heads are cheap enough to get ... i definitely plan on getting 10-20 more of this battle pack ...

well i'll be buggered ... just enough to make it totally different ... now i need to go home and check out the back printing ... a cursory glance had me totally convinced it was the same. *** back printing is new too! looks like they used the same base design but changed it up, like the front ... so cool ... i am even more excited about these ladies !!! i did take one of the ones i have and stuck an at-st driver head on it ...

right you are ... i forgot that the imperial ground crew has printed legs ... i don't think that it will be very accurate as the back printing on the ground crew is meant to replicate the light wands they use when guiding in aircraft ... though who knows for sure right now ... but regardless, i dig the fig ... lol ... this wave has me really stoked for the summer sets too ... really hopeful they continue on at this level after the lackluster last jedi [imho] waves ... thanks for confirming quay, i thought so, but wasn't 100% confident this morning to say without a doubt ...

you are correct ... little worm like tentacle things peeking out from the bottom too ... it is almost fully printed on the back ... i forgot it quay does too, i think so, i'll have to wait till i get home to double check that though ... this wave of sets has [arguably] some of the best vehicles and mini figs in a long time ... the speeders are stellar builds, the battle pack is fricking amazing [bonus points for the BP speeder being an actual in universe vehicle for once] ... the imperial recruitment officer has a whole new printed rank plaque - 3 blue 2 red side by side [commander] ... the imperial emigration officer [the real name for what people are calling the female naval trooper] uses a dual sided head with the navy trooper helmet but the imperial ground crew torso and legs ... a nice mix of new and reused to create something totally brand new. i foresee getting 10-20 more of this battle pack ...

both moloc and quay tolsite from the solo sets have printed skirts. quite a nice level of detail on them too.

and that variation is different than the helmet of the buildable fig ... from an injection molding tooling standpoint, i would think it would have been less costly to scale that one down than create a new ... i was 90% sure the praetorian in the set would be a mini of the buildable ... not what was shown in the video ... shrug ... [btw there's a guy selling 2 variations on bricklink of custom 3d printed praetorians] i'm no hero ... just a regular dude who wants to know what he needs to set aside for new toys ... ;-] if i see anything on the GBP, you'll be the first to know !!!

not gonna lie ... pretty disappointed that they're adding such a huge premium for 2 praetorian minifigs ... [if you compare this to the similar size/piece count battle on scarif] ... i can only hope that the people who said it only has 5 minifigs are wrong ... or at least 2-3 variations of the praetorians ... i'd be happy with no rey/kylo in favor of more praetorians ... =/

one more thing to note about the new dress/skirt piece ... the pegs on top are not normal studs, they are just like the pegs on standard legs and there is rounding on almost all surfaces/corners except the front which is flat ... i can't tell you how good this piece looks on the new solo figs, especially when printed like moloch and quay ... the barriss offee skirt is plain black, which will definitely come in handy in bulk ... =]]

i really like them myself ... and can see getting quite a few of them in black for other figs ... and not a problem ...
