  1. Hey, saw your UCS Jabba's Sail Barge. Just wondering if you ended up finishing it? It inspired me to disassemble mine and go larger with it. Can I ask how many studs wide did you end up going?

Hey, sorry, I ended up disassembling the Barge, unfortunately. I aimed to make it in minifigure scale. I didn't keep the width of the MOC, but I just looked at blueprints and schematics on Google and calculated the proportions of the Barge if it were to measure about 75cm long to be more or less in scale with 75192.

IIRC, the Barge ended up being around 25cm wide.

Ahh damn, loved the direction you were going with it! Appreciate the info, guess i'll work towards building something slowly but surely.

  2. Slave I first, followed by TIE. Then the new MF (if it's released) and Snow Speeder.
  3. Well, I suppose that's one way to break it down..
  4. Yep, LEGO wins either way.
  5. The reasoning could be "but we're giving you an interior this time round". However, if it's going to have a hefty price tag, id be inclined to say it'll be the same size as its predecessor.
  6. If this new UCS Falcon is significantly smaller than the previous one, It'll be a bit of a bummer to be honest. Hope the LEGO designers stay true-to-size, or close to as the previous.
  7. Liking the new Snowspeeder, will definitely be picking this one up.
  8. Quadjumper, bounty hunter pack (gives me another Bossk and Dengar), First Order battlepack for now. Possibly Vader transformation and Rathtar escape.
  9. Just saw the leaked picture, I quite like it. Enough to warrant a purchase.
  10. Eh? Kmart/Big W do them for $19.
  11. Ugh. Guess I better buy it via the Lego Shop then.
  12. Any Aussies know if the A-Wing (75175) will be available in retail stores, or just via the Lego Shop?
  13. Haha, sniffing and double sniffing around ultimately paid off as it netted me the Jabba sets and Sandcrawler at 'decent' prices. Was hoping to find the Rancor Pit, but no luck.
  14. I was in Poland at the time of purchase, the Vader's TIE vs A-wing was a little scarce there too - I popped in every toy stop i could and only found it in 3.
  15. Managed to find the UCS Sandcrawler 24hrs before my flight back home at a price I couldn't say no to.
  16. I agree. It will fly off the shelves, even at a high price. All the people who missed out with the original UCS Falcon will snap up a new one undoubtedly. I'd be in the mindset of buying two if it was to be released.
  17. Guilty here. I've spent ~$2000 (AUD) in the past 2 months alone on SW Lego. I'd probably buy a new Falcon in an instant, but it would really have to 'wow' me in comparison to the 10179 set.
  18. Beginning to sound like a newer UCS Falcon is gaining more traction, I might have to hold off my current bricklinking of the 10179 if that's the case..
  19. Don't know how I missed this thread. Wow, what a diorama! How do you go about transporting it - do you assemble it in segments?
  20. As a kid i was massively into LEGO City and Trains. Always wanted the 4558 set (pictured down in the bottom corner) but it was always an expensive set and Mum could only afford so much, ended up with the 4563 set (pictured in the top left corner).
  21. Well done, scale looks great and loved the WIP pics.
  22. Not too keen on a UCS Snowspeeder, as it's one of my least favourite vehicles.. but, I'll wait to see what it looks like before saying no.
  23. Officially broke on holiday now. Picked up Vader's TIE vs A-wing in one store, decided to pop into another and hidden on the shelf were Jabba's Palace and Sail Barge.
  24. Thanks for the review, think I mainly want this for the minifigs.
