  1. Super cool! I really like the addition. It looks very authentic to the original style of Lego Pirates. Great job!
  2. I love those trees! They have so much potential. And the soldiers are amazing!
  3. I know the set is rumored to include only seven minifigures, I just want to say that if LEGO bases this Pearl off of the scene in the first film when Elizabeth Swann and Jack walk the plank to be marooned on an island, the ship could include Barbossa, Pintel, Ragetti, Jack, Elizabeth, Will Turner, Ana Maria, Marty, Cotton, and Mr. Gibbs. I say all that to say that it wouldn’t be out of pocket or against canon to have a mix of the skeleton crew with Jack’s crew because, due to the Pearl seizing Jack’s ship, they were once on the same Pearl.
  4. WOW! As a huge fan of Lego Pirates, pirates in general, and southern history, I feel spoiled by this MOC! It is absolutely stunning with rainbow row overlooking a pirate filled “Charles Town “! Thank you so much for sharing your incredible creation. I love the garden’s gazebo and old statue, the detail of the closed gate on the tan building, the lantern-lit archways, the brick built palmetto, the shutters, the cobblestone streets, the cargo filled smaller ship, everything! I have always wanted to visit Charleston and Savannah, and now I want to more than ever! Spectacular job:)
  5. Okay this is so cool! What a perfect mod that really feels like it could be an official set! I love each and every detailed addition you made- the palms, the water instead of lava, the large stone statue, the minifigs! I would add this to my collection in a heartbeat if it was released - absolutely spectacular job!
  6. Ahoy mateys! Recently I was looking at my Ewok Village and, because I am obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean, thought to myself: “What would it look like if I hung the bone cage from 4182’s Cannibal Escape off the side?” Then, I noticed that the spot where Han Solo is tied rotisserie-style above the Ewok’s fire in Star Wars looks much like the fire Will Turner and Jack Sparrow are tied over in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest in the island of cannibal tribe members. Then, I liked that the spot where C3PO is seated would be the perfect place to seat Jack Sparrow in his tribal makeup and toe necklace! Lastly, I liked the way that the bridge on the Ewok Village is reminiscent of the bridge that the tribe members walk across in Pirates of the Caribbean. This meant that really nothing much needed to be done to the Star Wars set to make it look Pirate-y, besides adding those Characters! So, I decided to roughly edit together what the Ewok Village might look like with the added Pirates of the Caribbean characters. Sorry for the ROUGH editing, but hopefully it gets the point across! Besides Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, tribe members, Cotton, Mr. Gibbs, and Marty would be great additions as they are in the cage with Will Turner so I have placed them below. I have added Cotton’s parrot who would likely be saying the iconic, “Don’t eat me!” In the jungle, I have added the dog they chase when the Black Pearl finally evacuated the island. I hope you enjoy this addition to the Ewok Village! I recently added leftover pieces from my 10305 Pirate’s of Barracuda Bay to 21322 Lion Knight’s Castle in an attempt to make the castle look like it is a Caribbean fortress. That can be seen here: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/201209-moc-21322-lion-knight’s-castle-x-10305-pirate’s-of-barracuda-bay-caribbean-fortress/ Additionally, I uploaded a small Port Royal MOC, if you haven’t already, feel free to view that here: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/200899-moc-pirates-of-port-royal/#comment-3750384
  7. Ahoy mateys! I recently had the privilege of building the Pirates of Barracuda Bay set and absolutely loved it! I loved the way the ship looked and decided to display it that way, but this left many extra fun pieces (like Palm trees, cargo, docks, etc.,) just sitting around! I wanted something to do with the extra pieces, so I added them to the Lion Knight’s Castle in an attempt to make it look somewhat like the large Caribbean fortresses/outposts similar to that seen in the Pirates of the Caribbean films. (Speaking of that, if you haven’t viewed my much smaller Port Royal MOC, please take a look here: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/200899-moc-pirates-of-port-royal/#comment-3750384 ). I still think that the castle looks a little too castle-y and it may be fun to one day disassemble it to build a pirate/soldier fortress MOC using only those pieces. Also, I didn’t have enough pieces to do anything different to the castle on the inside, as I restricted myself to using only the extra pieces from the pirates of barracuda bay set as a fun little challenge! The redcoat flags and soldier/pirate figures are the only things I added to the set that are from neither 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay or 10305 Lion Knight’s Castle! One thing I love is that the height of the entry to Lion Knight's Castle matches the height (to the stud) of the Barracuda ship! Also, I just did a very slight mod to the 10236 Ewok Village in an attempt to make it "pirate-y" which can be seen here: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/forums/topic/201210-moc-10236-ewok-village-would-make-a-great-potc-cannibal-escape-4182/
  8. Wow! I absolutely love this model!
  9. I really love the way the anchor perfectly sits up against the rock like that! It looks very realistic and the angles line up beautifully! GREAT moc!
  10. Thank you so much @Jack Sassy! I submitted it a while ago and it never passed because they said it had too many mini-figures! I tried it again with no minifigures and they said the same thing! So I just need to try again because there must have been an error. Again, thank you so much for the kind words! @NOD I am so glad you enjoy Port Royal and thank you not only for the kind words but also for helping me understand how to upload photos on here! @Sebeus I That is so cool that you enjoyed that! I thought it would be a great lookout for the imperial soldiers and create sort of a gate/wall that you often see surrounding those Caribbean fortresses! Thank you for taking the time to comment on that!
  11. “Ahoy there! Welcome to Port Royal!” - the harbor master says as he greets you and ensures that each visiting matey pay their proper tax due your majesty, the king. Centered in Port Royal is the governor’s mansion - the lifted foundation matches the architecture of the time and doubles as small windows for unfortunate pirates imprisoned in the cells below. The governor's mansion is easily removable for easy access to the prison cells and prison corridors below. To the right of the Governor’s mansion are the towering imperial lookouts built directly on the Caribbean bluffs. A watchman’s bell hangs above the first watchtower to alert the imperial force of any incoming threats to the port town. Every effect the imperial force might need can be found in the watchtowers: telescopes, satchels, guns, gunpowder, and lanterns galore. Inside the second watchtower there is a captain’s quarters with a prime view of the Caribbean. Behind the captain’s desk there hangs two very special keys - especially important to the pirates imprisoned in the cells below. Across town and to the left of the governor’s mansion sits a timber-built blacksmith shop providing weaponry for pirate and soldier alike. A small import boat carries tropical fruit to and from the island, these fresh ingredients are put to great use at the small bake shop atop the blacksmith shop. Shutter’s flank each window of both the governor’s mansion and the bake shop, should any tropical threat of storm or maelstrom arise. Buried in the sand under the old road out front of the Governor’s Mansion sits a small cellar used for precious cargo (most likely rum). Legend tells of a treasure cove once rumored to be found here among the native tribes of the island. I hope you have enjoyed your tour of Port Royal! The inspiration for this build came from some missing architecture to my Pirate collection: the influence of French and Colonial style that fills the Caribbean. While Spanish forts are incredibly beautiful, I have a soft place for the early architecture seen throughout much of Florida , the Bahamas, and displayed in the wonderful Pirates of the Caribbean films!
  12. The zombie sharks are clearly seen in the trailer, if they're not included with The Silent Mary, that leads me to believe there may be more sets!!! I really like the bow raising function, it looks like it could be displayed as an old shipwreck : )
  13. Please ignore my horrible Photoshop skills!!! I got tired of looking at the blurry picture as well, and thought that I would try to Photoshop what I see! I've never made a post on here, and have been following for quite a while, if this isn't allowed I will delete this! *THIS IS JUST WHAT I THINK I SEE, NOTHING OFFICIAL!
