  1. No, that's just an added benefit of the combiner system; Clips can hold onto click hinge pieces. If they were only suppose to connect together, they'd only need a bar handle instead.
  2. I think nearly every good guy set this year has something that can combine with the Battle Suits, even with Lance vs Lightning the horse body can be swapped out for the legs.
  3. It can also be clipped to the back of a Battle Suit.
  4. Oooh, so the old Monsters aren't completely forgotten? Good to hear honestly, Lavaria and Whipperella were my favorite monsters from the first year.
  5. Yeah, but looking at the instructions, that's an easy enough fix with some Ball Joint bricks, the SHOULDER articulation is actually a bigger issue (SERIOUSLY LEGO, FEMALE ONTO MALE, IT'S JUST PLAIN BETTER). Plus there's the Shields, I much prefer the Black Knights Shield to the Squire Bot jet-shield.
  6. Yeah, still worth looking up on though.
  7. You sure about that, Their site still says it's $43 USD... Plus the Black Knight has nearly 100 pieces more and comes with Whiparella.
  8. Well I'd rather have the Black Knight Mech if I was getting one, but I think that was an Exclusive or something... They also have the Ninjago Salvage M.E.C for $31 USD, and while it's a bit too much for what I can spend, I'd rather have that.
  9. My own has some King's Mechs at $21 USD, but I'm not even sure I want that one...
  10. Yeah, the "Battle Suits" as they're called here in the states, while not having the pure price per part value of the old Ultimates, are much more playable, massable, and moddable. Honestly, I'm probably liking all of Lance's Sets this year due to them actually being designed around fighting with a LANCE as a weapon for JOUSTING. In the first two seasons of the Cartoon, he basically used his weapon as a giant fencing foil, while the giant lance on the Robo-Horse was more a big laser cannon. This wave, Lance has his Twin "Jouster" (which is at least a vehicle designed around charging forward), a brick-built mini Robo-Horse he can Joust from the back of, and his Battle Suit has roller skates/Land Spinners for charging attacks. Out of all the basic Battle Suit gimmicks, Lance's Heelys and Aaron's giant version of his Hover Shield are probably the most fitting, with Lance's only beating out Aaron's due to my buying them for Brikwars (I treat Spring Shooters as Ordinance Launchers, thus Aaron's suits' weapon would only have a couple of shots before being completely useless). Yeah, I just double check the box, but I didn't get one with my Shop-at-Home order (I think the promotion was $35 USD for the Batwing Polybag instead). Still, I did get a Knight's Cycle Polybag at TRU last year, which is a somewhat similar build that's actually even smaller. Honestly rather irksome such awesome polybags aren't more widely avalible, as they are great little builds that are highly massable. I've been seeing plenty floating around, it's honestly a great little piece with huge potential.
  11. Yeah, the ones I ordered from Shop-at-Home just came today. They're nice little things, but $15 USD is a bit much for a Battle Pack with no real build in it...
  12. Which Army Builders, the Blister Packs or the Small Generic Grunt sets?
  13. Well that's what makes that price point so great, it's "pocket money" and thus easily accessible to collectors and children alike! More than $5 USD greater, and it starts feeling like a serious purchase, so I'm glad that Lego and even Mega are releasing sets at this level. Going to probably army build 2017 Nexo Battle Suits to battle my UNSC Cyclops Corps.
  14. And it turns out Queen Halberd was really Ice Planet Female THE WHOLE TIME!!!
  15. OR, whatever holds the Squire bots just so happens to also use the same style of connection...
  16. Well considering the Battle Suits just use a clicky hinge for their combination gimmicks, it wouldn't be too hard for the Bot Dropping section to use a similar connection.
  17. Speaking of the Mech Suits and Macy's Dragon, I think the former might be able to carry the latter.
  18. I think it is a fun little bit honestly, even if Lance's Power Suit has those sweet roller blade feet.
  19. Uh, just2good, those "displays" are actually the mega shields from the battle suits, as shown in Rezourceman's reviews: Yeah, that apparently happened at the end of this season.
  20. Plus the bulk of them are probably powers they already gave out in the TV show and other media, so releasing a physical version isn't going to hurt anything.
  21. Eh, even WITH an alternate print, Ultimate Beast Master was one of the lamer ones; His Spinning Gimmick wasn't all that good to begin with, and his alternate powers neither make use of it or come with more useful accessories. Oh man, Lavaria is probably the best of the first wave, if only for her drider leg build!
  22. Toys'r'Us can be even worse, with their website not even syncing up with their stores' inventories.
  23. Me and my stupid Impulse buys, I just spent $25 USD on Beastmaster's Chariot earlier this week...
  24. I actually picked up a second Lavaria on Clearance mainly because of my Brikwars army of Mutant Spider Girls, as the parts to make Spinlyn-style Driders aren't as easy to come by.
  25. Well Lavaria isn't exactly "Run-of-the-mill," but yeah, even the mook Figures and single PIECES are greatly detailed.
