SB00201 TS-PROJECT (MOC Tie Silencer UCS)
StarBricks replied to StarBricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hi Slawars, I apologize for the delay but I was in London until today and this week I'm in Verona at the fair (MEI 2019). From Monday I will reply to all the emails. I recommend the purchase of an official 75179 set because you can recover about 300/350 parts and the two minifigures. For the other parts I suggest you buy some new pieces (the most common ones) directly from the LEGO website (pick a brick service) and the rest from bricklink. Remember that all the red pieces can be replaced with any color because they will not be visible. I think the LYGOD store will open in a few days. Remember, however, that you can mount the kit even after building the ship. Just remove some panels.- 289 replies

In my opinion the design of this ship is fantastic. Too bad that in the film you see little .. It deserved much more space -

The automatic procedure is very simple. You must first create a WANTED LIST on bricklink and then upload the pieces list files that I sent you. Here is a tutorial that you can find on youtube. I confirm that all the red parts can be replaced with any color because they are not visible.- 289 replies

SB00301 B-PROJECT (MOC Resistance Bomber UCS)
StarBricks replied to StarBricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The MOC has a sturdy structure and some parts are easily detachable to allow transport. Once removed from the pedestal, it can be stored horizontally in a transport box. Obviously, seeing its heaviness is not a playable MOC but I am satisfied with its general strength. -

Hi guys, thanks a lot to everyone for the compliments. In fact I am very satisfied with the result of this ship and live I assure you that it is even better. The first official exhibition will be on 2 and 3 March at the MEI event in Verona (Italy). For those interested in the construction I confirm that my advice is to buy a set 75188 because it will recover many pieces and the three minifigures. -

StarBricks replied to StarBricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks to all guys I'm really happy that you enjoyed my work. One piece of advice I can give to those who want to build the B-Project is to buy an original LEGO 75188 set. I designed my MOC trying to recover as many pieces as possible from the original set (about 600/650 parts and the three minifigures). -

I tried to design the MOC by choosing inexpensive and easily available pieces. The average cost of the pieces is around 0.10 / 0.15 euros per piece. The advice I always give is to buy an official LEGO 75179 set because you can recover about 350 parts and the two minifigures.- 289 replies

SB00301 B-PROJECT (MOC Resistance Bomber UCS)
StarBricks replied to StarBricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks to all for the compliments. I'm really happy and proud that this MOC liked it. For those who ask me for instructions I confirm that I am working on it and that they will be ready in spring - summer 2019 -
On 7 February, as well as being my birthday, it is a regular appointment with the presentation of the new MOC for the current year. SB00301 B-Project MOC from 5200 of the Resistance Bomber seen in Episode VIII. A ship passed unnoticed but that I consider very particular and well designed. It immediately reminded me of a mix between a bomber and a submarine from the Second World War. It has been a demanding project due to the particularity of the shape that develops vertically and that presents the whole side of the stern completely cantilevered. I adopted special technical solutions to make it stable and balanced and I enjoyed recreating its proportions and details in an accurate way. There are also some parts that can be opened and inspected and as for the TS-Project I have collaborated with LYGOD to create a specific lighting kit. I can not upload the photos here and then insert a link to my flickr page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/151456928@N08/albums/72157706600093414

SB00201 TS-PROJECT (MOC Tie Silencer UCS)
StarBricks replied to StarBricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hi Kajrehn, I'm glad the build goes well and I thank you for the compliments. I put a lot of passion both in the design phase and in the study and the composition of the instructions. This is to allow a simple and enjoyable construction phase. The LYGOD lighting system will be available after February 10th I believe .. but it does not depend on me because I do not take care of the project. The LYGOD SB00202 kits are produced and sold directly by LYGOD through their bricklink shop. If you want more precise information, you should send an email to them through the bricklink shop.- 289 replies

Hi AfolFree, what do you mean by: "Are there any plans for printed bricks for the cockpit?" Together with the instructions you will also find the pre-cut stickers to be installed on the cockpit parts and the photos in the manual will help you to do so. Be careful to do this with great care and precision.- 289 replies

In general the color the black pieces are more common and less expensive. However, I would advise you to buy an official LEGO 75179 set. You will be able to recover more than 300 pieces and the two minifigures. Also you can recover two pieces that were made only for this set.- 289 replies

2018 was a very difficult and tiring year for me due to two deaths in the family. The most important thing is to look forward and continue to dream. Playing and designing with LEGO was a good medicine for me and finally, after almost a year, the instructions of my MOC TS-Project are ready and available. Thank you all for your patience. https://www.starbricks.net/ts-project- 289 replies

Hi Saxman, the instructions are ready but will be on sale from January 7, 2019. Unfortunately, the months of November and December were not easy for me because I had two deaths in the family. The thing has delayed my work .. however, life goes on and we must react to the best. Soon I will update my site from which you can contact me for instructions. Thank you and merry Christmas www.starbricks.net- 289 replies

Hi Riotvale, if you mean the two pieces nr. 73090b on page 26 I can confirm that you can replace them with red pieces. Once the assembly is finished, they will not be visible.
