  1. We confirm what Corey said. It was my mistake because for a conversion problem between cm and inches I had a 7.6 cm cable inserted in place of the correct 15.2 cm cable. For the first kits that have been sold we will proceed to a free replacement of the cable and therefore nobody has to worry. It will only take some time to arrange this and you will be contacted asap. As for the new kits that are currently on sale on the brickstuff website, you can easily buy them because they already have the cable of the correct length. For those who already have the kit and want to start the construction it is not a problem because the illuminated ceiling light of the bomb compartment can also be mounted at the end of the construction and therefore you can wait for the correct cable and mount it later. There is no need to replace the cable. Just have a little patience and wait for the correct cable. The numbers are mixed and random
  2. Hi Baublitz, no you don't have to do anything. I'm organizing the thing but it will probably be brickstuff directly or directly me to contact those who have already purchased the first kits to explain what happened and send the new longer cable; luckily there are few of you. Regarding the parts list I believe that with the hard work of selecting the parts and the alternatives that I have provided in the "TIPS & TRICKS" section we can recover all the parts at a reasonable cost. I tried to do my best. Thanks for your feedback
  3. Hi MSY-MSP, sorry for the delay but I am trying to do things very calmly so as not to make mistakes in shipments.
  4. Hi Lego_Tactics, I have checked and indeed you are right. It's not brickstuff's fault. It was my mistake in transcribing the final list of components. I wrote the length of 7.6 cm instead of 15.8 cm. I must have got confused when doing the inch to cm conversions. Thanks for your report. Already all new kits have been updated with the correct length cable and don't worry; for the few kits that have been sold, I will send the cable of the correct length at my expense. Again I apologize for the mistake.
  5. Hi Fuchs, very interesting. Thanks for the tip! I did not know this tool. It all gets a lot easier then. Great!! A thousand thanks!
  6. Hi Baublitz thanks for the compliments. It's really nice to receive positive feedback from those who appreciate my hard work. Regarding the collection of parts I recommend that you take a step on "pick a brick" of the LEGO site. It is not possible to load the parts list but usually the most common parts can be found there and can be purchased in large quantities. To do the research I suggest you open the wanted list in bricklink and order the pieces according to the code number. So you will be quicker to check the parts and based on the number you will be able to see if it is present in the "pick a brick" and possibly what colors are available. It is an operation to be done with patience but by buying the pieces directly from LEGo you can save a lot of money. Thanks again and have fun!
  7. Yes, of course. I must say that I find it very relaxing to go in search of parts in bulk ... it's a bit like going mushrooming! That's why I always prefer to do it manually. It depends on the needs .. Personally dismembering a set makes little sense because the value of the pieces that you can recover is generally lower than the value of the set itself. At home I mainly have sets from the Star Wars collection and I would never dismember them to recover parts. In the case of the 75188 set I bought 2 boxes. I mounted one and one I used to build the MOC. However I agree with you that Rebrickable is a very powerful tool.
  8. If I can afford to give you some advice the best things to do are these: 1) create the wanted list on bricklink 2) manually delete or update the number of pieces that can be recovered from set 75188 3) manually delete or update the number of pieces that can be recovered from the bulk you have at home 4) evaluate which non-visible red parts can be replaced with other pieces you have at home and delete them or manually update the wanted list 5) check and place a first order on the LEGO site (pick a brick service) to retrieve the available parts 6) update the wanted list by deleting the pieces ordered with pick a brick 7) order the remaining pieces in the wanted list on your favorite bricklink shops I use this system that guarantees me order and avoids making mistakes in ordering the parts. I hope it is useful
  9. Great! Update us and let me know what you think of the build
  10. Great, let me know what you think of the build. Have fun!
  11. Thank you very much, I always enjoy receiving positive feedback and knowing that my many efforts are appreciated. I have tried my best with this manual as well. I hope the build is nice and fun too
  12. The LEGO "pick a brick" service is unlikely to have all the pieces. I always recommend doing a first search on the LEGO site and ordering all the available references there and then buying the missing ones on Bricklink. Remember that it is important to also purchase an official 75188 Resistance Bomber set.
  13. I am replying to emails, but it takes time. In this period I am also very busy with my work and with my family. It takes some patience. Thanks
  14. Yes those too. Before ordering the parts, I always recommend checking in the instructions where they should be inserted. In general for all the hidden parts I try to use the red color but there are some parts, like the technic brick 6x8, which do not exist in the red color and therefore I try to use the most common colors. It is therefore clear that they can be replaced with other colors.
  15. I confirm, all the red bricks can be replaced with other colors apart from the small red tiles that can be seen outside. As mentioned above I highly recommend buying an official 75188 set and before ordering on bricklink I recommend checking and purchasing all the parts available on the LEGO website ("pick a brick" service).
  16. Yes, I apologize for the delay in replying and I tell those who have not yet received the reply to be patient. During this time I am also very busy with my office work.
  17. The SB00302 lighting kit created in collaboration with Brickstuff must be installed during the assembly of the MOC and therefore must be purchased before starting construction. The assembly instructions for the lighting kit are included in the B-Project manual.
  18. I warn you that maybe later Brickstuff will have an official dealer also for Europe. Not sure yet but maybe you should wait a little bit. I warn you that maybe later Brickstuff will have an official dealer also for Europe. Not sure yet but maybe you should wait a little bit.
  19. Hi Veynom, thank you very much. SPA was a great experience. Thanks to the whole WALUG group
  20. I prefer to avoid further lists. The best thing is to create the total wanted list and manually delete the parts that can be recovered from the set. This is because, as usual, the red parts can be replaced with other colors and everyone can decide whether to do it or not. Furthermore, the manual deletion of the parts from the wanted list is also convenient for eliminating any parts that people have at home in the bulk. However, in the manual there will also be notes and suggestions for finding and purchasing the rarest parts.
  21. Yeah right .. less than a week
  22. There will be a specific lighting kit for the B-Project and the code is B00302. It will be manufactured and sold by brickstuff. The kit will be available on their website after the instructions are out. I haven't decided on the cost of the manual yet but one thing is sure. Compared to the K-Project which had about 180 pages, the B-Project has almost 270 pages. The printing costs are higher and the effort to create it was really a lot. In addition, I have also introduced a few more things than the K-Project manual, trying to further improve the construction experience. It will certainly be more expensive. As for the cost of the parts, as usual, I tried to make a careful choice of parts to limit costs. The best thing, however, is to buy an official LEGO 75188 resistance bomber set from which you can find all the minifigures and some special pieces made just for this set. In the manual, however, there will also be a guide with specific advice for buying and / or replacing the rarest parts. I tried to do my best.
  23. In ten days the instructions of the B-Project will come out. I have already started working on the TR-Project instructions but it will take some time. In the meantime, enjoy the B-Project .. It was a very demanding job and the manual has almost 270 pages ..
  24. ..there are 10/15 days left Taking the instructions first also means being the first to look for the parts and then buy the parts at a lower price..
  25. I think you will have a happy birthday ;-)
