  1. For a $20 price point this is a really nice, classical Star Wars set. The designer made the most out of a rather dull assignment: make a new set with an escape pod including the usual suspects and 2 sand troopers. The pod is much more accurate and functional than the can from the first version, and there even was enough money left to add a small swoop bike.
  2. I especially like the review's direct comparison with the older version of the sub which shows how much nicer-looking this new set is - aside from the undecorated bubble windscreens. Due to its sleek, organic look this is certainly one of the more difficult vehicles from Star Wars to capture in LEGO. And after 12 years it was time for an upgrade, even if would never sell as well as, for instance, the 6th iteration of the X-Wing.
  3. Don't hold your breath for snow and ice ...
  4. Very impressive! The big sensor/deflector dish could maybe use another pass, the white frame is sticking out quite far and isn't really round. Still, nice work overall. Enterprise B next?
  5. We live in the 3rd golden age of LEGO, definitely. The first began 1979 with the release of what we know today as "Classic Space". The 2nd was brought to us in 1999, courtesy of Lucasfilm LTD After mastering the 2004 crisis, LEGO is now in the 3rd golden age. Sure, we can debate about nostalgia, taste and uncalled-for hate towards certain play themes, but one simply cannot argue with double-digit growth rates year after year. All those sets are being bought, many more than ever before, and by many more people than ever before. Golden. Definitely golden. Or even platin?
  6. Don't forget the mouse movement tracker! Seriously, NO! LEGO doesn't do that.
  7. You have to cut your internet connection to start LDD in offline-mode. Shouldn't be that way, of course.
  8. I wouldn't know about corporations and international and all that. It's a rather small, family-owned company I work for Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody!
  9. Hey, I am Hans aka Primus of BrickCommander.com! I am German, but live in Billund, a small town somewhere in Denmark with a rather large airport. And a LEGOland, of course. Just wanted to say hi
