  1. It will be back. I contacted LEGO and this is their reply: "I had reached out to see if the set 10235 Winter Village Market will be back in stock. I have some great news for you! This item will be back during the Christmas season! Due to the fact that it is a seasonal item, that is why we had marked it retired for the time being on our website."
  2. Pretty sure we would all do that if it was possible by now
  3. I am happy to trade any one of the following (all sets below are brand new and sealed) : 6857 Dynamic Duo Funhouse 3316 Friends Advent Calender 6862 Superman vs Power Armour 21102 Minecraft 6866 Wolverines Chopper Showdown OR trade for 16 mini figures from series 3 to 10 (all new, some with and without the original packets) for a complete set of series 11 mini figures (brand new). I am located in Sydney and can arrange for pick up!
  4. Its cash convertors but for Lego! Not sure what they would offer, since they are in the business, chances are they will offer low prices so they can still make a profit reselling.
  5. Don't quite understand how its better, on top of the 103.51 you still have to pay shipito about AUD61, thats aud164 for only 2 sets... Wouldn't the DeLorean come to AUD62 when you halve the shipping cost? not much of a saving enough for me to use a drop shipper ...am I missing something??
  6. $69 (save $20) according to catalogue
  7. I'm sure free shipping will happen again around Christmas...also no one here actually buys sets at RRP, right??
  8. It is probably better that you look into this yourself, since this this post is about Aussie Sales. :)
  9. I think it's best if you read what is happening at the moment in North Korea before even thinking on introducing LEGO sets there..
  10. Why did you think it was a child that designed it?
  11. So everyone here got the Minecraft set and selling on eBay too :P My order took 7 days and tracking not updated, other times it took 2 weeks
  12. I have a feeling this set will come in a really large box. Really liking the interior and accessories that comes with it :D
  13. There's a video? I couldn't find it on youtube - perhaps a link? :)
  14. Nice easter egg find. I assume an homage to Monty Python or its just a common logo to have. Maybe Monty Pthyon got it from somewhere else?
  15. Not all, it really depends on the set, one day I can get it shipped, and when it gets discounted, I can no longer get it shipped. Weird.
  16. I found out about http://www.tarazz.com.au (an Australian based business) They only ship to Australian addresses and the items are from US retailers like Walmart etc. Australia Post is their exclusive shipping partner. More info here For example the 10224 Town Hall set is $219.97, postage is $21.47 which makes the total at AUD$241.44, cheaper than RRP (for 1 set)! I added 4 sets of 10224 and shipping came to $55.47 which made it about $234 per set. More you order, the cheaper shipping costs are perhaps? The postage prices vary from item to item and quantity. I assume conversion fees are not applied, since it is an Australian based business. :D Also the site is really slow... just FYI also not sure if it should be under this thread, it's probably a bit of both? Should this be under local sales in Australia thread?
  17. ALOT of LOTR Weathertop Sets left at SYDNEY Myer. I remember the sales lady saying they have sold out of the Mines of Moria. Call to check is my advise before heading there. They can set it aside for you. Also all sales over $50 gets you a big bag (the size of the Transformers one they gave out a while ago) with the LEGO company logo on it.
  18. Here is a reply I got from TLG, since I had a couple of misprinted 10218 "Thanks for getting in touch with us regarding the contents of your editions of LEGO set 10218 Pet Shop. I can confirm that the piece count for this set is 2032 as you rightly say. There has been a limited production run with a printing error that gives the incorrect number of pieces on the box. We are aware of this and this error has been rectified. Consequently, you're in receipt of four rare copies of set 10218 with this printing error. Who knows; in years to come, maybe this rarity will make them more valuable!" So keep them I guess?
  19. How much is postage to Australia?
  20. The Mines of Moria set is a good buy - cheaper than Big W (selling at $112 on their website), who are usually the cheapest when it comes to LEGO sets.
  21. It's a stretch but I think its possible... It might actually be worth the wait to buy in Australia - I know David Jones were selling the Fire Brigade for approx $170. Not bad since it was RRP299.95. I got a couple of Grand Emporium from Amazon for $125 - compared to USD149.99, great deal (before the shipping cost increases). Time will tell...
  22. The fire brigade had a RRP$299.95 and I bought mine at $215, when I hadn't discovered Amazon yet. The eBay prices were surprisingly cheap, as low as $160. Perhaps that was a once off.
