  1. I thought they might be able to create the angle of the slope for the main body, but it didn't do much and I didn't remove them. :)
  2. @ecmo47 you probably don't need those. They are inside the flaps of the main body, and you can substitute them for any color you want, as they are on the inside and aren't viewable.
  3. I agree with ecmo47. I'm sorry if this has caused any pressure, and I didn't mean to copy your work in a bad way. I was going to hold off on building my version anyways. Yours is going to be stronger, and I just want to give my best regards. Definitely going to purchase the instructions as soon as they are available! Ewan
  4. The GR-75s are really nice additions. They are pretty big, considering they have only around 830 parts! Also detailed. . . Mortesv did a great job on them, just like everything else he's made! :)
  5. As a matter of fact, I haven't built any B-wings yet! Better do that ASAP!
  6. @ecmo47 You can always start collecting/building now with my LDD, then modify or add parts to it when the instructions are available - I think I'll begin gathering parts using my LDD, then wait until the instructions are out. I found a to-scale hammerhead corvette for sale! The hammerhead is 110 meters long, and following Mortesv's scale, should be 55 studs (about 17 inches) long - and it is! I've already bought one to add to my fleet, and you can buy the instructions or the full model. Here's a link on Bricklink, where you can view it, and here's a link to buy it on Ebay: BRICKLINK: https://moc.bricklink.com/pages/moc/index.page?n1searchtype=1&n1sorttype=4&searchword=QuiGon&keyword=QuiGon EBAY: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xlego+hammerhead+corvette.TRS0&_nkw=lego+hammerhead+corvette&_sacat=0
  7. In these photos I didn't have the falcon on. Whoops!
  8. Thanks! Also, can people just start collecting the parts with the list from my version? Then people can always just add or take away parts once you release the instructions. . .
  9. @mortesv Instructions would be fantastic! As you know, digital designer isn't the greatest for that. . . do you know how long it would take to produce the instructions? @ecmo47 they connect the middle engines to the skeleton of the ship, with 2 on each engine. Here's a link to a store that has a lot (used): https://store.bricklink.com/foobricks&itemID=116428989#/shop?o={"invID":"116428989"}
  10. True . And there is a significant price difference. . .
  11. Anybody else who wants to build the CR90, please look at the thread:
  12. Agreed! Many white parts can turn out to be in very poor condition when bought used.
  13. Part 2476 in dark bluish gray seems to be rare. . . Everybody please add 2 of part 30374 in white and 6 of part 3062 in white!!! On one side of the engines, I didn't add the 2 tubes in between the top and bottom rows of engines.
  14. To those who are building the CR90, there are a few things you should know about it. As you may know, one of the reasons Mortesv couldn't produce the actual file is because of certain things the program wouldn't let him do. Although the file I've produced is mainly complete, there are a few things you should know before collecting parts and building the ship. -On the light bluish gray rectangular greebling on the sides of the top and bottom rows of engines, take away the 2 x 2 plates underneath. Also, there are some loose ones not connected to the main ship - just attach them when necessary. -Add 24299 and 24307, both in white, to the ship, as pictured below: The two spots circled in red are where you should attach them. There is also a similar spot on the bottom of the ship where you also need to put them. So, add 2 of part 24299 and 2 of part 24307 to your parts list. -One last thing: in the engine section, you don't have to use all of the 1 x 16 technic bricks, and pins. I just reinforced that area because I thought the engine section would be especially delicate, but It's probably fine without. But this is just optional, I still think I'll do it.
  15. This thread is for discussing my version of Mortesv's CR90 corvette. It will help people building, buying, and modifying the ship. If you want to see Mortesv's original version, here's the thread: LDD file is no longer available from me, you have to get instructions from Cjd223/Mortesv from this thread:
  16. Hello! I've been working on this project for a while, and finished the digital file just before I began the Nebulon. Now that I'm finished with the Nebulon, I am going to begin collecting parts for it. The ship I've designed is the CR90. I modeled it directly after Mortesv's, and I can say it looks pretty similar: I know everyone really wants this file from Mortesv, so if anyone is interested in the file for this, I'd be happy to share it!
  17. Reporting in . . . NEW FIGHTERS: U-wing: Green A-wing (from Return of the Jedi) : Huge thanks to Mortesv for the awesome design and Cjd223 for the fantastic instructions! Definitely a challenging build, but the final model is truly not even describable. Thank you so much!
  18. Hello! Just one question for you all today. The top panel in the back does not seem to fully attach to the technic bricks underneath. It seems safe just laying on top, but is there a difference? Thanks, Ewan
  19. Whoops! how about this. . .
  20. Hi! The Nebulon has slowed, but I managed to fit the two sections of the ship together. Do you think I put the Sand Green pod on correctly? It looks like it, but the technic axels don't line up with the pin connecter. Should I just take the connecters off? IMAGE:http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=6480018
  21. Hello! This past Friday I began the Nebulon, and all has gone well. The reason I am contacting you all is because on page 522, when you attach the two 1 x 13 liftarms, I can't put on the 1 x 4 slope parts back on top. I think I put the liftarms in the right spot, but for some reason I can't figure it out! When looking at everyone else's models, they managed to put them in the spot the manual tells you to, but . . . Although I don't have a photo due to technical difficulties, is there any way anyone could point me in he right direction? Thanks for your time, Ewan
  22. Do you happen to have an LDD file? I'd have to say this is one of your greatest creations. Also, do you know how long it is?
  23. Hello! I have finally completed my first transport! Now for the Neb, and maybe another transport . . . :) Here is a picture of the transport, some x-wings, and my version of Mortesv's UB-820
