pirate one is getting a make over. I myself am disappointed with it to. I thought the air brushing effect would look cool. but yeah, it will be changed. I am working on replacing the sails for the imperial armada ship at the moment. If prototyped up a flag to see what people think Flag

the raft was done just to see what it would look like. and i stuffed up the sizes on the main pirate sail :( but as a first attempt im rather happy. getting the Imperial amarda ship in the next couple of weeks and going to redesing the sails on that based on the small red coats sail you see above. i wish lego made more blue center bases for the IA based ship so i could make a flag ship supported by a couple of frigates. Looking at keeping the models together based on original designs and making a new Fleet feel similar to my exo armies. Thats my one disappointment of the 2009 line up. only really 1 boat. so there isnt much playability between all the sets.

He was silly enough to wait around while the lone solider dragged the canon into place, aimed it and loaded it.... IMO Poor solider for having to deal with retard pirates all day :D BTW, get 2, then the solider and the pirate can have 1 each while the other two minifigs battle it out with said cutlass's

Pirates use catapults? IMO change catapult to a canon, then its worth the $20

just stocked up on the Uplink model when it was in the bargin bins. think i have about 15 of that little red dude. but i did purchase a few more iron drones.

resurrecting this thread! I shifted house and lost my Lego room. However we just kicked our messy female canine person out, so i have a new lego room. Going to bunnings on Thursday to get some slabs of MDF to build up into a table that i can put it all on. have all the 2007/8 sets to add to the armies. (except mobile devastator (crap model))

set the iron to low and put the sails under a tshirt or other fabric face DOWN so the decals are facing the ironing board. then the shirt on top and iron away!

Lol exo was first! lego need to bring back the high detailed technical sets of old. Royal Knights castle. and Black sea barracuda being two of my fav

Im looking at the new Mars range, ESP the Drop ship, and the Tank. and to me it looks like Exoforce with orange and white colour schemes. these could be quite easly MOC'd into sets that fit quite well into EF. The drop ship in black and red could be a very nice Iron Dron dropship. and the tank a very nice companion to the Hero all terrain tank... thoughts, feedback...

I love the concept of this set. and realise that MOC are limited only by the amount of bricks we have available. Id give this set a 9/10 for overall creativity and design. and a 7/10 for build concept. here is my newbie critic breackdown. Dropship 9/10 awesome design colors work well. robots have never been fond of windshields so is perhaps remove that in favor of a more roll cage cockpit similar to Fire Fury. and add of a frount with weapons system to it. Again personal preference. Anti Air. 8/10 Gun is awesome looks great. base looks rushed though i cant think of a set up to make it cool in my head. i guess i dont see standard car tires and axle fitting well into EF Tank 5/10 rather than tank i think this should be called the cube of death. very square. however again the concept is very cool and the weapons are spot on. Base 8/10 I like this base alot. reminds me of a GLA stinger site in command and Conquer Generals. i would have liked to see the top platforms made bigger with the use of the 8x8 mesh plates like on the door of the Golden tower. i think this would add considerably to the overall feel of the *base* i like whats in your head and look forward to seeing more of your creations!!! have fun building!!!

S@H pisses me off. . 50$ shipping is blue murder! thanks for all the feedback guys. I just brought 20 iron drones and a whole lot of bricks to make a *scorpion* themed MOC for the robots. As i was telling another user in PVt i want to get it to the stage like in starship troopers the movie where the robots *arachnid* are over running the Human base. i think that would make quite a spectacular Setdesign and photos. Also i loved the MOC for the golden city defense. ill give you my take on that monday / tuesday with my defensive upgrades im planning.

your talking about the white lightning with the red shoulders... well i am using the white shoulders on my MOC a 3 legged human tripod that will be bigger than Meca ones walker. i forget its name and CBF looking. i like the bridge walkers legs that model is so solid you can really articulate the arms. the original 2006 models legs were shocking! cant hold there own weight, esp with the combo modles. the Grand Titan/Stealth Hunter combo was just plain disappointing. as for the custom turrets on base assault. again the originals just plain and simple pissed me off. the other thing i absolutely HATE is ladders the goto nowhere. EF is shocking for it. Case1: Golden tower. Just how do you get to the 2nd and 3rd floors. AND WTF!?!?! is with the missiles behind the door. Im so gonna move them and make a turret. Case2: Sentai fortress... How to the figs get into the towers! Case 3 Gate Assault Again how do they get to the top of the gate to man the defences. Lego damn it USE STAIRS AND LADDERS!! Please dont get me started on *disk launchers* if i owned lego. Disk Launcher person, KTHXBAI find new job K?

Brought the first 1 at full price $129 NZD then got the 2nd 1 as a *ok i've built it and dont like it* deal on our local auction site over here for $60 NZD had 2 missing peices the wheel/valve control on the red fire extinguisher in the repair bay, and one blue 1x1 cone for a missile. So i was really happy. same with the 3rd Silent strike, got him for $20NZD from toy world clearance sale he came stand alone with out the sentai fortress. You will notice i also have 2x Bridge walker vs. White lightning's as well, again from the Damaged stock dealer for toy world on trademe.co.nz got them both for $40NZD I used to collect the castle back in the days. but gave it all to my little brother when i finished school. I really do regret that now. Then last year i saw the exoforce and was hooked again. ------------------------------------------ Thank you for resizing the pics, and yes i wish they did do housework, or at least cleaned themselves. keeping the dust off them is bloody hard!!! still I've managed to find a brilent little device made by Glade air fresheners. that plugs into the wall mains and spays a mist into the air every 45 min, it stops the dust from settling on the lego. ill take a pic and see if i can find a website. I've had about a 70% -80% reduction on dust settling on my modles since using it. cost about $15NZD a month.

UPDATED!!! Edits to come :classic: :classic: Here are a few shots of my 40cm Minifig. L -> R : Stomping robots!, OHHH its so bright!, Playing Wii and Computer :D. I love him. he has been all over Christchurch. HUMANS! A little MOC outpost I made. Spare *shoulders from uplink make a nice wall, and then radar mast. I've purchased starwars and brickarms blasters for all human minifigs. Close up on the two landing pad towers from my 2x sentai fortress. I really wanted to mod the fortress badly but felt better combining the two in all there separate click in components to make the big fort below. Have turned the medic bays into cloning bays. that way the multiple identical minifigs the humans employ works in my head. Some zoomed out posts of the human army. Also on the end is a close up of the Human Alpha company with anti-ballistic (read: bonical) shields and EMP shotguns up fount with a blaster team behind, and robot sniper in the middle. wide angle shot of the room The ROBOTS!! Robots wide angle shots. Artillery and big units at the back providing indirect fire support. Of note is how badly the yellow mech sticks out that comes off the frount of the big artillery cannon, he is just too bright for the robots. also the other set i was really disappointed in was the 2007 flying one with the flames out the back. the 2006 and 2008 flying robots are mean. esp 2008 with the turbines and fount mounted Gatling cannons. Can also see my army of iron drones. I still need about 10 more i reckon to make it more like a zerg swarm aka Starcraft :D BTW random palm trees are the new cool. SOME MOC, Well Half MOCs as its clear what models the bases represent. Combine model of the two 2006 Robots with some mods and strengthening of the legs. Upper turret also redesigned. Robot prision jeep. molded off space police. has room for a 2nd robot. Based on grand titan 2006, replaced lots of red with Black slopes and bricks to give a more darker feel to one of the human models, didn't really succeed as he still looks very bright and contrasty with the red and black. Huge Gatling cannon hand that is way over the top. with 2x fiber optic ammo / energy belts feeding the weapon via his back. the piolet makes me laugh with him being the minifig from the adventures line. This moc is based on white lightning. Have added a big riot shield mad out of cockpit windscreens, i really like the look of the shield. I was surprised that over my time collecting lego often included xtra fiber optic lengths with no real purpose as a spare part. So i put them to good use here attacking them with the scissors and making the cockpit. I really like the look of this cockpit and can imagine it as an inpenratable energy field. OH NOES A GIANT QUADRUPED ATACKS FROM OUT OF THE DARKNESS last but not least my pretty world of warcraft PC :D Thats my collection, yes im still missing 2 modles, the mobile devastator and charmellion hunter. Ill be picking them up ASAP. need to get the new pirates first.
