  1. Thanks to this review, I've just bought one from Amazon.co.uk - £19.97. Many thanks.
  2. Hello there. I'm Sabrien Reed and I am a Lego addict. Since Christmas, I have been building and playing with Lego a lot. My old Lego was brought to me by my parents just before then, and I've been steadily cleaning and sorting it. Meanwhile, I've bought some new City Lego for my children and all of the collectable minifigures (two sets of each - one sealed, one opened). I've also bought more minifigs and assorted bricks off eBay and BrickLink. I think it's fair to say that I am now an addict. I rationalise the addiction with the argument that the resale value of Lego seems to go up rather than down, so it's just like having money in the bank, except you get to play with that money. Am I delusional or a genius? ;-) I'd like to be able to build beautiful MOCs like I have seen created by others, but my lack of parts limits what I can do at the moment. I also won't let myself build something that looks nice unless it can also be played with properly. For this reason, my buildings tend to have no roof (for ease of access and visibility) rather than no backs (like most official Lego sets), but I might try out making a modular MOC, with the easy-to-separate floor levels. I think that's about enough from me for now. p.s. Sabrien Reed is the name of my character in a role playing game, and also my PSN username.
  3. Thanks for the encouraging comments and ideas. Here's a few responses: The lime green was meant to show this was the fresh fruit and veg area, but I admit it looks out of place, so I will probably change that. There is not going to be a roof because it gets in the way of play - all my MOCs from my youth were topless and I guess I just remained a topless fan since then ;-) When I have enough tile pieces, I will tile the floor, as that will look much better. Anyone got ideas for baskets or a shopping trolley?
  4. Hi there. I'm new here, as you can see from my post count. I'm in the middle of a project to build a decent town for my children (and me) to play with, and I've finally managed to amass enough yellow bricks to build a supermarket, inspired by the Morrisons near where we live. A criminal is about to have his assets frozen ... The security guy is looking cool as well ... The cash machines and sliding doors are the stars of this photo. The doors open by pulling on the overhanging bricks. I need to stock all the shelves, but have run out of suitable Lego parts and ideas to make the items look different to each other. Suggestions would be very appreciated.
  5. None in any of the Cambridge Tescos. Bar Hill said they had 240 units, but location was "unknown". I checked Argos and TRU as well. Bah!
