So I got 4 sets and opened them. Here is what I got. Im really dissapointed by the chamber of secrets. Rest are really good for me. I will buy the chessboard and the flying lesson as well, so maby I will get some more. Got 4 sets today. The Chamber of Secrets, Hogsmeade, Fluffy and Pollyjuice potion. Total of 240 euro. The Chamber was 120 euro and Hogsmeade 70, which are much better prices. Bought them at Jan's Steen, so be aware Dutch customers! Also bought the accessories pack at the Lego store. Happy with them. I hope I can move to somewhere bigger soon and build them all and stall them out. I have every potter set(except Hogwarts castle and Hedwig, I only collect minifigure ones) from 2018 and build only 5 of them(all 4 books and the whomping willow). Rest of them are still in the box.

Well with the room of requirements you can actually do a "play" thing with shooting those things, or expecto patronum the demontors or battleling voldemort. With this set you can just swap hair.

I really like this wave, but the thing is... will these sell good? I mean, I know there are a lot of adult collectors (like me). But still, Lego is aiming toward children. Looking at the $20 dollar bathroom set... there are no play features. It's just the bathroom. I personally love it, but without all the other sets, it looks so random. Same for fluffy's encounter. I think the Chamber of Secrets and the Quiditch sets succeed the most in this, but still.

Yep. Paid 60 for the clocktower and 65 for the Hogwarts Express. Not a fan of Amazon... But if lego charges these insane prices, I have no other choice.

Really... what the hell! Well have to buy the sets somewhere else. 150 euro for the chamber of secrets is INSANE!

Could anybody make a meme how everybody on Eurobricks is turning 180 degrees after seeing the final pictures lol. As I told in the beginning, these sets are awesome and they still look great.

I think that Lego don't want to throw out everything they have immediately. I think they want to continue for years. If they put in all sets from years 6 and 7, what is left for the years to come. They want to make as much as possible. If they make buildable figures right now, completionists want to have this set now, instead if it came last.

Well, this is going to be an cheap year for me, which I like. I love all these Harry Potter sets, and I want them all, except for the non-minifigure ones. If it's just gonna be a chess board, it's gonna be a nope for me. If it's going to be an actual extention, then yes. But I don't see how this can be a $250 price with just an extention. Well thats about 300 euro for me this year. Cool. I love all the anniversary sets though.

I came across this video which is talking about some really, really rare and older promotion sets, which is really awesome. There was even a collectible minifigure wave in the early 2000 exclusively for HK!

Thanks guys. This is exactly what i've been trying to say. I mean looking at the prices and things that are upcoming, that is what I would have thought would be the best.

I think TLG is creative enough to make it work. Looking at the wonderful Clock Tower which was 10 euro's more expensive... but it looks really good. I was looking at older sets, and I was thinking: we got so many wonderful stuff and remakes. But there are still a few things missing. Battle of Hogwarts, Shrieking Shack, Umbridge Office, Library, Fireplace with Sirius. Mirror of Erised, Gringrots, Slytherin Common Room, Knockturn Alley, The Three Challenges from the first movie (don't know how these will be in the new set), Durmstrang Ship, Second Challenge: Mermaid People, some sort of prison for Sirius where he escapes in the end of book three. Characters we are missing: Troll, Narcissa Malfoy, Igor Karkaroff, Werewolf Lupin, Shark Krum. I'm super hyped that we have almost all characters from the old sets. Just wish the characters from Diagon Alley and The Burrows are more detailled. Things I would like to see: Diagon Alley entrance, Ministry of Magic(end battle from book 5 or book 7), Tent from book 7, Luna's home, Godrics Hollow, Third Task: The Maze and Grimboutplace 12. Any thoughts or things I forgot?

That's true. But I was looking it from the price perspective. All the Buildings in Diagon Alley are like a 100 each. I don't really care for play features and a dragon, I can see making a 80 euro Gringrots that would perfectly fit with the rest of the set.

I think it would be better to make Hogsmeade more expensive and more accurate. And Do Gringrots for like... 80 euro's. But I kinda understand that they want to chip in on the christmas villages Lego fans and hoping to sell more sets to them.

Whats all the hate with the new Hogwarts + Chamber of Secrets. I love it! It's my favorite set of them all. I have all the new sets from 2018 so far, and this one is high on my list. The only set i'm not a fan of is Hogsmeade. It doesnt remind me of what I remember in the books/films. It's just two buildings. Was expecting more. I hope for a Shrieking Shack in august.

I just bought the Monster Book of Monsters. Was so bummed out about that it was sold out in the end of december. I was busy and I missed it. Great opportunity. Would have rather bought in the store, but since we have a lockdown, its a bit hard.

A shop here in the Netherlands that sells Lego still have like +5 Newts Suitcase for 45 euro and +10 Grindelwalds Escape for 20. I bought them this week because I see they have been retired some time ago, and I really want to have a complete collection(except for the microscale, don't really care for the hogwarts castle). Other Harry Potter sets have even sold out. So as you can see, not as popular.

Will the Hagrids Brickheadz an exclusive for a long time? I sold mine for 40 euro's because I'm not really a fan of the Brickheadz. And with my purchase I got 20 euro off my next purchase. So basically my DA was 340, which I think is a really good price. I was going to buy the room of requirments anyways this month.

Bought it today in my Lego Store. They had like 20+ boxes left. Glad I got the set :)

Just called my Lego Store. They told me it's coming with a GWP tomorrow, but they can't reveal or confirm what it is until Lego reveals it.
