  1. B:TAS is my favorite Batman ever, I like the batmobile, but it's waaaay overpriced. Why would anybody spend 60 bucks on this? I thought the 89 batmobile was a bit expensive, but this is just insane. Also that Freeze just looks unfinished and cheap. I still cant believe we got actually sets based on btas. Shame its like this.
  2. I love the set. I'm amazed by it. The animated series is the reason why I love Batman (and art deco in general), so I am biased. But I will get in on the 4th of April. The only thing I'm not a fan of are the minifigures. They seem so off. Batman looks weird and they don't look like they are from the show. The Joker seems the best one. The weird thing is, I'm not a fan of microscale sets, but this I have to get. I'm also excited for the Batmobile in June.
  3. Just finished the first half of the Gringotts set: The underground section and the Iron Belly dragon. At first I wasn't a fan of the underground section, I just wanted the top part! But man, the build is actually amazing and very, very clever. It's not easy to design something like this. Kudos for the designer and that you can actually fit underneath Gringotts is just amazing. And now onto the dragon, I wasn't a fan and I'm still not. While I understand the inclusion of the dragon, the build frustrated me a lot. I don't like to build technic lego and this was a hard part. I was glad when I was done with the dragon. Tomorrow time for the Gringotts!
  4. I do hope we get a leaky cauldron and knockturn expansion for diagon alley in the future. I don't think we will see other shops in the same style.
  5. At first sight I didn't care that much for Gringotts and was disappointed. But after the reviews it really grew on me. So I decided to get it and Im glad I did. Im lucky to have a Lego store in my city, so I got all the GWP and the buildable staff which was only during 2 - 4 on that day. I collected every Lego Harry Potter set since the 2018 launch, but since the reboot I didn't care for it that much. I wanted to be a completionist. So I decided to sell everything when I moved to a new place, but I kept my favorite sets. The Burrows, Grimmauld place 12 and the clocktower set from 2019. They are still in the box, but I thought, yeah it's nicer to have a complete diagon alley then to have an inacurate size castle and burrows next to the shops. So I will sell those when they will go up in vallue. I love this theme, but I think Diagon Alley is the best set there is. Still deciding on GP12.
  6. LuckIly I have a Lego store in my town. I was quiet busy, so I wanted to order through the site. But when I added 12 GP to my basket the GWP didn't show up. When I added another set only the staircase was added. In the store I just needed to buy 12 GP and I got the staircase and the polybag! They say it's a total of 130 euro, because you can also pay with cash and here we don't use 1 cents anymore. Lucky!
  7. Wasn't the microscale GWP of Diagon Alley released with the microscale Hogwarts?
  8. This will be just like the other years. 'The D2C isn't going to be Gringrots'. 'Booooo Lego, I don't like this idea.' *The official pictures release* 'Wow: this set is actually amazing I need it. Much better than expected'. The icons set was fine guys.
  9. Fulcrum is saying it's a rumor and take it with a grain of salt. Still anything can happen guys! And if it's true, I just think Lego is stretching this line as long as possible. Releasing Gringrots as a final piece, so collector's will keep on buying all the sets and not lose interest.
  10. Amazon. It's 5 now, https://www.amazon.de/-/nl/dp/3960805810/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_nl_NL=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=1NBM4J3EHSYJ6&keywords=lego+quidditch+book&qid=1636098912&sprefix=lego+quiditch+book%2Caps%2C91&sr=8-1.
  11. I paid 2.58 for the book with the hufflepuf outfit with the book on amazon including shipping. You can say what you want, but you can't beat that. This way I prefer the book.
  12. It was 48 euro's excluding shipping. Do you have one from Batman V Superman and Justice League??
  13. Just bought via bricks and pieces the 89 batmobile GWP. So no booklet or box, but still all the pieces with official lego. Gonna snag an 89 Batman from Bricklink. This way I have the 66 batmobile, the 89 batmobile. And I will get the Batman v Superman, Tumbler and The Batman batmobiles. Really cool to display all 5 of them next to eachother.
  14. Netherlands, city Utrecht.
  15. Just got the GWP from my local Lego Store, also got the polybag! I waited with the chess set and the first flying lesson, because they were retail exclusives and you couldn't get them anywhere for a decent price. For example, the CoS in the Lego store is 150, and I got it for 110 at a non official lego store. The Chess set is 75 and the Flying lesson is 30, got 10 euro of with my vip points. So for 95 two sets + the GWP + the polybag, not bad at all.
  16. I love your layout Textorix. When the line is over I really hope to build my own hogwarts version, something similair like yours. Most of my sets are still in box! Als love your little set Yope. I hope this will be made soon. Also: Got a Cedric in Hufflepuf Quiditch Robes with the activity book for just 2.80 euro including shipping from amazon. The book is German, so I will throw that away, but it's a steal for just the figure.
  17. I think they already tested these prices here in the Netherlands. 45 euro for the Fluffy set here was just insane. I got it for 35 from another shop, which is a much better price. Same for Hogsmeade, got it for 65 instead of 90.
  18. I still need the chess set and the quiditch one. Total of 100 euro's. Perfect!
  19. Btw... if they just want to make sets of the first couple of movies because it's more kid friendly... WHERE is our Gringrots from the first movie???? :D
  20. I'm really excited for the new sets, but I won't get my hopes up. The fluffy set was also $40 and really disappointing and small. Quiditch was nice, but the new sets seems to get smaller and more expensive. I love the old moment sets! So im def. looking forward to a fifth (and sixth one if you count the DADA set.
  21. I won't buy the set, because it's not for me. But I have to say the design is really good!
  22. Yes. They are very, very good. It's like the Dutch variant of Amazon.
  23. Do you guys think the still unknown Harry Potter set will be revealed at Lego Con this saturday?
  24. I know they are expensive, but I bought my remaining 4 Chocolate Frog cards for 1.50 each. For 6 euro and 1 euro shipping I have it complete for now. No hassle to trade or anything. Its something, but not too expensive I think.
