  1. Okay, so full thoughts. • Expecto Patronum: please don't be a PoA set, that would be unnecessarily big; DH2 one would be really cool, acting as a big expansion to the next set • Battle of Hogwarts: OH BOY YEAH (I hope they implement Harry's and Voldemort's duel with green and red pieces) • Quidditch Trunk: already forgotten about it, don't care • Gringotts: sounds fantastic, it needs to include the dragon for that price tho • Knight Bus: could be cool, but sounds oversized for what it really is • Dobby: it's an AutoMorbile case – a set that sounds so hilarious that you immediately see it in positive light
  2. DOBBY THE HOUSE ELF DOBBY THE HOUSE ELF DOBBY THE HOUSE ELF WITH A SOCK
  3. Gringotts for 430€ let's gooo, people are going to go absolutely BONKERS on this forum.
  4. Not gonna try to predict each set, but I hope we'll get: • a Battle of Hogwarts set • a small Deathly Hallows: Part 1 set • a small Philosopher's Stone set with Quirrel • Hagrid's Hut • the Third Task • a Quidditch set Just a minute to go
  5. Oh boy, can't wait. Just ten hours to go. I feel that if they play their cards right, it might actually turn out to be the best year for LEGO Harry Potter yet.
  6. Okay, so hear me out: how about it's actually an Ar—
  7. A 160€ set with over 2660 pieces has me worried. That PpP ratio is definitely too good for a regular set.
  8. 76222 and 76224 were supposed to release in 2022, and they didn't. One of them has appeared on a recent 2023 list, which means that chances are pretty high it's an Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom set. People keep forgetting that Aquaman is still the highest grossing DC film ever. LEGO would be most unwise not to profit on that.
  9. The sets will look so good with the Ash People as the primary antagonists. Cameron kinda sold me on Avatar 3 with that comment, it sounds really good.
  10. For now we have no reason to believe otherwise. It could be a mistake, but for now we can't just assume that.
  11. What spoiler? Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have been teasing since Mando Season 2 that all their live-action series will somehow connect, leading to bigger events.
  12. So the spinners release in June after all. Makes sense tho, no reason to release them three months early.
  13. Okay, but how do you know if this particular UCS set was successful because of kids? UCS sets are targeted to adults, and they are always successful, that's why we get at least two of them every year. Why do you assume the Death Star is an exception? And yeah, like @BrickBob Studpants said, there's nothing more iconic than the Death Star (where size is a relevant factor), it's the most "Star Wars" Star Wars set. It's not just the minifigures, but the thought of having THE Death Star as a child is something marvellous. Why would a kid want a 200€ Statue of Liberty? The minifigures are not enough to make most children crave a 200€ set.
  14. That's one of my biggest problems with the second season — it was a launching platform for other Disney+ series. It felt like the main storyline got lost in that sometimes, and the finale was bloody awful. And let's be honest, Ahsoka is in literally everything Dave Filoni has created. I hated her inclusion in The Mandalorian, but at the very least she had some kind of purpose there. Why was she in The Book of Boba Fett? Because Filoni. That's the only reason.
  15. What about The Mandalorian is? But somehow, we got appearances from: Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, and Bo-Katan Kryze with her squad. And yes, some of them, like Bo-Katan, feel like an understandable addition. But awful Cyborg Luke, or "look-I'm-also-here" Ahsoka were completely unnecessary. Nostalgia baits at their worst.
  16. Yeah, that's also my most anticipated Star Wars series. But to be honest, the only one I care about apart from the masterpiece that is Andor. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni's approach is just "shove more nostalgia and Clone Wars characters into this", which I absolutely hate. So I couldn't care less about The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, or Skeleton Crew.
  17. I'm updating the list here with every news we get, small or big. Skeleton Crew is a series about four kids lost in space, with Jude Law playing their "teacher". It's been created by Jon Watts, Jon Favreau, and Dave Filoni, with an official 2023 release date (they've even revealed first footage in a recent Disney+ snippet). The Acolyte doesn't actually have a release date, even a vague one. They've started filming recently, and it's very exciting, but the series seems much bigger and more demanding than your average Disney+ project, so it may take them a while. Insiders say that it could arrive in more-or-less a year.
  18. The August list this year is extremely intriguing. Six sets under 40€ (with four of them at 15€), and a single set priced at 160€, with no in-betweens. There's also Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew coming out, so those will possibly have some sets. I still really hope we get more Andor sets.
  19. Same. I mean, I don't even like the movie really. I'd just buy them because it'll be the only chance to get all the legacy characters. Not really, because most kids just forget about something like this along the way, it becomes an unobtainable dream. Making a whole wave of those sets, that any kid could buy or ask for is a superior marketing move.
  20. April 1st has been confirmed by retailers (for the first wave), while June has been mentioned by FalconFan (for the second wave).
  21. I feel like a wave like this would be great: A 20€ set with Spider-Man (Black & Gold) and Electro, with a buildable Sandman. A 40€ set with Iron Spider, Doc Ock (regular arms), and Green Goblin (original suit), with a bridge. A 100€ set with Spider-Man (Integrated), Spider-Man (Tobey), Spider-Man (Andrew), Green Goblin (new suit), Doc Ock (Stark Tech arms), and Lizard, with the Statue of Liberty.
  22. Is it just me, or has the idea of No Way Home sets become a distant, abstract, amd unobtainable thing? It just feels like something we'll never get at this point, even tho it's likely that we actually will.
  23. Yeah, no problem. I'll keep updating it with evety bit of info we have for the remaining year.
