  1. I definitely hope so, it would be amazing. Sets like this have been a personal LEGO-dream of mine, and I hope they expand to other themes. Helmets for example did - started with Star Wars, but then expanded to Marvel and DC.
  2. That's not what he meant. He meant that just getting anything for this movie with spoilers, as simple as 3 characters out of 8 would be enough to make him happy. Of course more would be better, but getting anything is better than nothing. Same. I'd die for Lizard, Electro or Doc Ock (especially Lizard), but I just hope we get anything.
  3. This time they have 3 Spider-Men and a whole Sinister Six. No need for other characters.
  4. We need 3 Spider-Men, and 6 villains. Sandman could be buildable, so that leaves us with 5 minifigs. I dunno if they'll include the 6th villain as they seem to avoid him for now, and it's much harder to check who he is (we know it tho). My idea: Tom, Andrew and Electro in a 20-30€ set with buildable Sandman (the team-up seen in the trailer) / Tom, Tobey, Goblin, Doc Ock, Lizard and (possibly) the 6th member in a ~50€ set. This would be absolutely perfect. I hope they'll include all the villains tho - I wouldn't like a situation where we'd only get half of them, or just 4 etc.
  5. Perhaps I phrased that wrong. I didn't mean that it's likely the NWH set - I meant that this set could be a potential candidate for the remaining NWH sets. Fulcrum is still rather sure that we're getting 2 more sets, but I think that they'd release both of them at once, hence why 76219 is probably not a NWH set. They definitely need 2 sets to include Andrew in one, while Tobey in the other.
  6. I'll probably end up getting both Love and Thunder sets, they need to be amazing with all those characters. Can't wait to see what builds and minifigs they choose. Wakanda Forever sounds like such a weird wave. 10€ set with over 50 pieces? That's like a 4+ level. And the 30€ and 50€ sets have the same piece count? Strange. I love getting 10€ sets for new movies tho. There's also a 20€ mystery set releasing April 1st. Sounds like a likely candidate for a NWH set.
  7. Peacemaker, Bloodsport, King Shark, Ratcatcher 2 and Mad Hatter. Yes, I love The Suicide Squad. As for Mad Hatter, I have no idea why they still haven't completed the OG 15 from the Lego Batman video game. He's the only one left (but Clayface still needs a minfigure).
  8. 76179: I kinda like this set, but it's not great or anything. Minifigs are both repeats, which sucks. Selina should've been exclusive to this set. I like Selina's motorcycle, and Batman's would've been good if not for that clunky front. I love the Batsignal sidebuild tho. Overall it's just okay, 6/10. 76181: That's also pretty good. Penguin is exclusive, so at least the set feels more worth getting. The build is mostly good, but it does feel too clunky. I expected something much sleeker, and I especially dislike the front, it's really ugly. I expect it's one of those sets that look much better in hand, because the pictures LEGO made are so bad, such weird angles. I love the back box art tho, how they recreated one of the images. Overall it's pretty good, 6/10. 76183: Now THIS is what I'm talking about. What a stunning set. It's packed with minfigures, I didn't expect Gordon or Catwoman. I absolutely love the Batcave, finally it doesn't feel like an awkward, all-over-the-place type of set. I even love the motorcycle, glad they are able to make a brickbuilt one that isn't oversized. Overall it's really great, 8/10. All-in-all, I am not impressed, I expected much more. Batman is awful, I expected them to go all out with it. Other minifigs are great tho, especially Gordon and Penguin. Minifig distribution is weird, I don't know why they decided to include Selina in the Batcave instead of keeping her exclusive to the motorcycle chase, while also making Gordon exclusive to the Batmobile. All the builds are great, especially the Batcave, but I'm not a fan of the Batvehicles, especially the Batmobile.
  9. Thoughts on the minifigs: Batman looks terrible, absolutely awful. Grey torso (instead of gunmetal grey), no arm printing (seeing as his arms are really detailed), no dual-moulding (I hate the fact tat they did the exact same things a story did to 2018 Iron Spider or 2017 Batman, they give him leg printing that's trying to imitate dual-moulding), no new face print (come on, the smiling face again?) and most of all, no new cowl. The fact that Lego thinks TDK Christian Bale and The Batman Robert Pattinson look exactly the same is extremely worrying. Other minifigs are lovely tho. Catwoman looks great, although I hate that both variants come with the helmet instead of one having the mask. They really nailed Penguin and Gordon, amazing minifigs. Riddler looks fantastic, but what about the hairpiece? He doesn't seem to have it in the movie. Alfred is great too.
  10. Lmao, that person you're describing is no one else but you. This is not how business and marketing works. Creators of a video game won't notify a toy company 5+ years before it releases just so they can make a random tie-in set. Not to mention that not only LEGO doesn't make sets based on Sony's video games, but Wolverine will be 18+.
  11. Oh man, I think you're right. And here I thought they couldn't make anything uglier than the regular stud shooter
  12. I bet it's Jurassic World: Dominion. The wave will be MASSIVE.
  13. Bruh, why are those sets releasing 2 months earlier in the US? What the hell Lego
  14. I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS TODAY, OH MY GOD
  15. This. They don't have to do any grand scheme of 'introducing kids to X-Men', or 'testing the grounds before MCU X-Men' - they do it because they can, and Wolverine is popular. That's it.
  16. They don't have to introduce anyone to X-Men before the movies - just look at Eternals or GoTG. Those movies came out of nowhere, and became hits. Marvel will always sell, and they just want to prosper from the fact that they can use this property, not that they want to use to to introduce others to it.
  17. There's a difference between a single 18+ set and a whole new wave for an evergreen theme. Also, y'all are really exaggerating what they've said. They didn't say that they'll never make DH sets, but that they want to focus on earlier movies as they resonate better with children. It’s definitely not to say we won’t cover the later movies at some point, but they do tend to be aimed at a higher age, which is why we target the first few movies [...]
  18. Buildable Iron Man? Lol, what a random choice. I hope they'll be able to pull it off. I don't expect it to come with a minifig. There are 6 set numbers left, and there might be some which we don't even know of yet. Don't draw conclusions so quickly. Oooh, great catch! Totally forgot about it. Yeah, that makes sense now. Funny that it's the only non-4+ set based on the Juniors series. I dunno, Deadpool (after the 2016 movie) probably became too connected with its R-rating for Lego to even consider including him in a set. I hope I'm wrong, but we know that even Disney wants to keep him R-rated. Yeah sure, because X-Men haven't had a kid-friendly property in years. The recent X-Men movies we got were weak, while the good spin-offs were R-rated. Older kids, like teenagers, do know who X-Men are tho. You're underestimating how big of a brand they are.
  19. It's not like they have to test waters with X-Men, they're one of the most popular teams ever, while Wolverine and Deadpool are some of the most popular Marvel characters. Imo they just do it because they can.
  20. Because it's an 18+ Sony PlayStation game coming in at least 3 years from now.
  21. Yes, the old one has definitely been retired for years now. Because: 1. Lego doesn't make sets based on Sony video games. 2. Why the hell would Insomniac inform Lego about making a game like this. 3. The game won't come out until 2024-2026.
  22. Yeah, I'm not doubting those rumours as the most reliable leakers reported on them, I just find it weird how a Wolverine set is codenamed Avengers, or a Black Panther set is codenamed Spider-Man.
  23. Nah, I don't think so. Sometimes people just confuse January / March and June / August release dates, as Lego uses them differently for some waves depending on territories. The thing is, both of those services are German, but only one of them can be right. For example Promobricks was somehow wrong about the prices for 2 bigger sets.
  24. Same. Rarely do I like the build more than the minifigs. I think minifigs are great, but the Tumbler is simply amazing.
