    I was in sainsburys today, and looked at the new magazine. Next issue is still the old friends and a poodle for the next gift, unfortunately, I really thought we’d get it next issue :-( Usually though it was an animal one issue and a normal build the other issue, so perhaps they’re getting rid of excess stock and it’ll be soon- that might be wishful thinking though!

    @Killian the Lego friends magazine used to be about 6 weeks behind in the UK compared to the German one, however I think the duplo magazine came out about June last year and has only just started coming out in UK stores. I’d imagine with the new tv show show coming out February it’d be after then for the UK, but possibly 6 months if duplo is any clue!

    Ooh, I know we’ve had a few but I do like a horse set. The amusement park is large again at 1348 pieces.

    Definitely Autumn’s house and the hair salon. I’m drawn to the cat hotel for some reason, think it’s good value for money and probably the design store set if it has some money off in the future. The supermarket is cool too, but think I might just wait to buy parts from it.     There’s a new magazine come out in some countries, with the new black kitten. Unfortunately not available where I live at the moment, you can see a new sketch on the advertisement page with some of the new friends. https://www.blue-ocean.de/lego-friends/detail/detail/lego-friends-2 Also seeing as some summer set lists have leaked for other themes, it’s an apt time to speculate about future sets. In Autumn’s house there is a tv showing a picture of a lion and cub, so potentially a wildlife theme in summer. The Disney line had an adult tiger for Rajah, which would work for a lioness. Also with Andrea’s house there was a tv of a circus, then we got the magical fun fair sets in the summer. I hope there’s something relating to Aliya’s bedroom in the summer or of course a whole new theme! I can’t think of any other clues what I’ve seen in the new sets.

    Have you not seen the wanted black kitten in the diner set, looks a most dangerous criminal! Also there’s the person who left the dachshund next to the bus stop, perhaps the policewoman could have a chat by saying it’s much kinder to leave it at the dog rescue center. On a more serious note, I think the new Friends reboot are trying to show not everything can be perfect in life and how those obstacles may be overcome. Also I think it’s refreshing that a policewoman is in a positive environment.

    I don’t like what they’ve done with the faces on the new Disney princesses, they looked more like the animations previously. I’m guessing that’s why we didn’t get Pocahontas from the ultimate Disney princess celebration image, which is a real shame.

    I’ve just been having a mooch around on the Lego play site. In the friends section it says Autumn’s mum (Mia) has a horse ranch, so I’m guessing we’ll have that in a future set, especially since Aliya has an interest in horses and probably how she became friends with Autumn. Also Nova has turn up jeans on, I wonder if we’ll get a new leg design (like we have with Paisley) as I don’t think we’ve had minidolls with turned up trouser before just shorts?

    New trailer is coming out on the 2nd of November. Hopefully this will give us some more reveals and perhaps some more teasers from Lego, as mcfarlane have already revealed some of their non-spoilery avatar way of water toys.

    Wow, I’ve only had a quick look but these are great sets and so detailed. Everything from the designs, minidolls (one girl has a limb difference, excellent!), more animal molds (the dachshund with wheels is amazing). I like how they’re continuing the story of the five original girls, Mia is Autumn’s mum! It’ll be nice to see them as adults in minidoll form.

    We don’t I suppose, but we have had Leo confirmed in the set names and both mini dolls look to have the boy (young male) torso.

    Extremely promising! Seems 2 of the main characters will be males as well, so hopefully even more scope for expanded themes and ideas. Even though grainy, I can tell I really like the aesthetic.

    We have more names now: Liann, Aliya, Leo and Nova. I assume Leo will be male so could be a permanent fixture in the new lineup and hopefully we’ll have even more diversity than the last couple years of Friends.

    Wave 2 images of avatar 2 mcfarlane toys have been released, these have revealed a new rda crab suit and seawasp. Creature wise an ilu, skimwing and akula, which all could be in the wave 2 for lego (I’m hoping for a tulkun but probably too big).

    Ooh interesting prices, as far as creatures go I think we’ll definitely get an ilu and a skimwing (especially in a battle set). I doubt it due to size, but perhaps we might get a tulkun. A large set could be the base for the metakayina clan.

I’m intrigued by 43216, sounds like it could be at set based from the Lego Disney magazines. I’m glad Aurora is getting a castle however seems a low price point, hopefully it’s enough to include Philip. Perhaps we can expect a couple more sets, 43215 and 43218. I really hope there’s a Pocahontas set in there and a Merida set.

All set for January release. I’m surprised we’ve got two houses dedicated to characters we don’t know yet, so that’ll be intriguing. The town center could be an extension of the Main Street, I hope they change the style up a bit. I really like the sound of the international school and organic store (especially at that price, hopefully lots of detail). Set numbers missing: 41725, 41734, 41736, 41737, 41742, 41744-41750, 41752 41753, so perhaps March sets.

    Yes, I had the same when I got the set. It was very unexpected. Also the Nokk is a different colour than the one in the jewelry box, which is more transparent.

    Well, the friends theme just keeps getting better and better! Such an eclectic mix of sets for the summer, emma’s art school looks spectacular, the roller disco is fun. A great mix of mini dolls as well and I’m very happy about the new giraffe and zebra of course, I thought we might get a giraffe after the picture in the Main Street building. A special mention to the recycling truck, I don’t think they could’ve done a better job.

    Olivias space academy is up, very nice in my opinion. I especially like the orbit detail on the station.
