  1. I was wondering about that. He actually isn't that much bigger than Bats in the comic. I'm hoping a bigfig though, that way I can moc up minifig mutant gang members and it won't be confusing as to who's the boss. The Battank from the Killer Croc sewer set is already pretty close/a good base for a larger build.
  2. A Mutant Leader minifig? What a time to be alive. But the real question is, will he have pointy nipples?
  3. Ugh... these CMFs are gonna be an big behind ache to get hold of, aren't they?
  4. Yeah. But I think the UK release is gonna be January, seems like a weird way to end the email otherwise. Ah well, more time to save up.
  5. Hmmmm. Reserving judgement in Ms. Marvel, simply because while the arms seem cool, I wonder if there's an option for regular arms. Or if they're gonna release a "plain" version of her at some point. That said; these sets look nice, but definitely gonna wait till they're discounted or in sales
  6. Okay, so I got an email reply from Lego customer service and.... It's not particularly helpful. It actually feels like they thought I wanted some super secret, mystery thing when I just asked for a UK release date. Anyway, this the bulk of the email with a kind of answer at the end. LEGO CUSTOMER SERVICE WROTE: I'm sorry that I can’t tell you anything about the new Batman™ movie sets at the moment. Something like that might be coming soon, but until new toys are announced in the catalogue or on LEGO.com, we aren’t able to share any details. That’s because it takes a long time to design and make new toys, and we sometimes need every minute until they hit the shelves to make them perfect. Besides... we look forward to surprising you! If you want to find out about new LEGO sets as soon as they’re announced, just keep an eye on our website. I would go in your case with january as it's the official announcement on social media as well. ***** I mentioned wanting to know if they were coming out pre Christmas as my nephew REALLY wants these sets, but it looks like he's out of luck, leaving him almost as dissapointed as me.
  7. Yeah. The manager of a Lego Store said November 27th, a reply from their facebook page said January 1st and then a friend of mine is dating a Manchester Lego Store employee and he said he's been told December 1st. All dates we've been given, but the fact no one within the organisation seems to agree is weird. I've sent an email to their customer services to see if they can provide a concrete answer, so we'll see. In the past Argos have released sets early (the Doc Strange and Rogue One build a figs were out weeks early) but nothing yet. So I'm leaning towards December/January release date in the UK. UPDATE: just seen the Dimensions LBM sets are up for pre order on the Argos site. The date is Feb 10th, is that news?
  8. I was about to ask the same. I've been given three different dates (all from Lego employees) for the UK release of the first wave.
  9. Ooooof.... Thrawn doesn't look great. His skin looks too bright to me.
  10. Well, I wasn't gonna say anything....
  11. Y-wing looks GREAT. Nice selection of figs. But the Scarif set looks like it's Rogue One's Takodana set, just a dissapointing build with okay figures. The kind of thing I'll get if I see it on sale. Same with the battle packs.
  12. They released pictures last weekend.
  13. Which is fine unless you're somewhere that doesn't have Targets. Like, most of the world.
  14. The new polybag is cool. Fortunately, if it is hard to find it looks like most of it is easily made with existing parts.
  15. The two prices I saw (really wish I could remember where, but it was definitely a legit source as the U.S. prices matched what we know) said the lowrider was £39.99 and the Batmobile was £49.99. Again, not saying this is definitely true, but they were the prices listed alongside the dollar equivalent. Christ I wish I could remember where I saw this.
  16. I think it was just them taking the chance to do something at SDCC and that set was ready. I don't think there's much more to it than that.
  17. Inflation won't effect these sets. It'll be early next year before that happens. I wrote them down when they were so I can't remember where, but the prices for the Batmobile and Lowrider were with the U.S. prices when those sets were first revealed.
  18. Uhm... can that photo that shall not be named be posted on the lego reddit?
  19. The Batmobile and Lowrider sets have had the British RRPs announced, and they're ten quid less than the American price (e.g., $59.99 is £49.99) so it is possible it could be £30. I don't understand your last statement, voting Remain wouldn't have had any effect on prices.
  20. Just noticed Calendar Man's Cape. Definitively gonna need to get him.
  21. I like the croc set. But the Catwoman set seems kinda small, the actual builds pretty dull? and Batgirl and Robin in another set? Seems like a missed opportunity to do something cooler, like a little heist scene with Catwoman and a security team or something. The bike seems pretty dull .
  22. Is it just a trick of perspective, or is the Batcave A LOT smaller than I thought it'd be?
  23. Just saw a redesign over on reddit that looks like a WAY better version of clayface.
  24. Aren't some of these sets basically brand new? The Tie Advanced set came out this year, didn't it? Either way, not taking any chances, gonna grab these just in case they really are being ditched already.
  25. Clayface is fine design wise, he just needs a little more articulation leg wise. I actually don't mind the face/mouth. Pizza set is alright. Probably not a day one purchase, but provided it's not too expensive I'll grab it at somepoint.
