  1. Thank you very much! Yeah that is not so nice. Thank you! I really wanted this modular build, because in this way you don't have to modify the whole model. Thanks! You made your telehandler also very clean! I saw yours when I had almost finished my model. I think mine looks the same as yours, except that yours is smaller and have more manual functions. With my boom problems I wish it was not a pneumatic contest but a other contest, so I could make these functions manual. I hope I will find a better way to work the tubes in the boom correctly!
  2. Thank you! I will post a photo with the wheels when the model is completed. Thank you! I really wanted the connection points. Maybe I am going to make another attachment after the competition. I used only system parts in the anchorage of the boom. There are used some slopes. The battery box was very easy to fit without system parts. The cable carrier is a very good idea, but I think that something like that is going to be very big. Especially when you consider that there are four pneumatic tubes in the boom.
  3. Hello everybody, Here is my third update on the Heavy Lift Telehandler. Today I want to show you the controlpanel. This part contains a small battery box and four pneumatic switches. This part is mounted to the chassis by plate that goes under the chassis. There are also some pieces on the side of the box that grabs the top side of the chassis. There is also a on/off switch that pushes the green button on the battery pack. On this picture you can see the whole model so far. The square 'box' is looking wrong, but with the wheels and the mudguards on, this is looking allright. If you have any questions or tips let me now. I'm still busy with the pneumatic wires. I only have to do the ones in the boom, but this is very hard because the boom has to extend.
  4. Thank you! Nice to hear that you love the 'next update announcement' !
  5. Hello, Here is the second update on the Heavy Lift Telehandler. Now I want you to show the boom with its functions. On the picture you can see the two parts of the boom. The boom can be extent by turning the gears on the sides. This axle is also the hinge of the boom. The inner boom has one pneumatic function, and there are tubes for an moving attachment. The function of the boom is tilting. When you have any tips or questions please let me now. The next update will be about the controlpanel.
  6. Thank you! Yes it is small, and I can tell you that I had many problems with the battery box. Because of that I am going to use a train battery box. Thank you!
  7. Thank you very much! I think the next update will be tomorrow.
  8. Helly everybody, Here is my discussion topic for the TC10 contest. I have made a Heavy Lift Telehandler. I almost finished the model, but I will show the progress in steps. In this first post I will show you the chassis of the model. On this photo you can see the chassis with a box where the boom is going to twist. There are also two big v2 pneumatic cylinders to lift the boom. On the second photo you can see how I made the motor with a pneumatic pump. It was hard to fit both the motor and the pump horizontaly . If you have any tips or questions please post them here. This is the first time I'm making photos in this way, so if they are not so good give me some tips how I can improve the quality. I will soon give you an update of my build. ps: the stickers on the rear 7 beams are there because I haven't enough of these beams at the moment. Later you won't see these any more, because the boom is in there.
  9. I thougt that the part in the boom of the telehandler only comes in the mercedes arocs set.
