  1. My latest steampunk build, Lord Abercrombie's Steam-Pigeon. For the full story behind this and many other steampunk creations, please visit Empire Of Steam.
  2. Brilliant stuff mate. Well played.
  3. Thanks for the comments folks. Much appreciated. Don't think I've got any un-"shopped" images. I'll have a look in the depths of my Recycle Bin. Also, if I get time I'll do a breakdown of the plane for White Nun.
  4. Whoops! My bad. Got carried away and conveniently forgot about that bit of the rules. Consider this withdrawn as an entry. Apologies!
  5. EDIT: This was going to be another entry for the competition but I didn't read the rules properly about no box art. My bad - consider this entry withdrawn. If an admin can change the post title to take the "D2C Contest" bit off it, that would be great. Hope you like the creation anyway... I really enjoyed putting this one together. It was good fun. Here's a link to the Flickr set.
  6. Good stuff. I like your large statues at the front in particular. That trans-blue obelisk is a nice touch too.
  7. Thanks for the comments guys. Much appreciated. @TazManiac - I originally planned a roof, but ended up deciding against it. I think it might be overly-complex as an "official set" design anyway, I thought a roof would definitely push it over that line.
  8. Here's my entry for the D2C Contest, a large-scale set for the Pharaoh's Quest theme: "Museum of Antiquities"... This imposing building stands in the heart of Cairo, and makes for a handy base of operations for Jake and Mac when they're between adventures. But who are those shady characters lurking outside? Surely they're not planning to ROB THE MUSEUM? Inside, the museum is a treasure trove of ancient secrets and artefacts. Hamish, the curator, is only to happy to help Jake plan out his next adventure... And whilst Mac packs away the latest discoveries for transport, something ancient wakes from its long slumber... I hope you enjoy seeing this as much as I enjoyed putting it together. See here for the full Flickr set.
  9. Anyone up for a spot of ApoHKalego?
  10. Hi folks... Just to let you know, this set is available to buy in the Creations For Charity auction in aid of Japanese disaster relief. View it and some other great little creations here.
  11. I was building a test MOC for a colour scheme I wanted to try out. Potentially going to use it for a Steampunk SHIP. I was keen to get an idea of how it looked "in the brick" before breaking the bank on Bricklink. Thought I may as well build the test as a crate for this raffle...
  12. It's not "proper" Star Trek, but you might like this... Link to Flickr set
  13. Cheers guys. I've got some more stuff in this scale coming. Probably an "opposing force" of some kind...
  14. Thanks for the comments guys. Glad you like the vig. I've been thoroughly-enjoying messing around with some micro-scale stuff for a change. Might stick at it for a while. This wasn't really inspired by RoboCop (at least not consciously) although I suppose there might be an ED-209 resemblance if you squint a bit. I do like the movie though, so maybe it was in the back of my mind.
  15. Hello. Here's some Micro Steampunk stuff I've been playing around with recently... I'd love to hear what people think as I'm planning on building more in this scale.
  16. Hey guys. Been lurking for a while, but thought I'd join in a bit more. I've dabbled in a lot of different themes, but seem to spend most of my time on Steampunk and Castle. Recently I've been building a lot of Micro stuff which I really enjoy. In real life I work in Innovation for a beer company, which is pretty cool. Anyway, glad to be here. Thanks for having me. ROD
  17. Hey folks. First post here at Eurobricks. Hope you like it... "Hold the line at Bleaker Street" - a micro-scale mech build.
