Did you get any of them? I also find it funny how they had KREO knock offs too (KREO was good so I guess its a "good" idea to bootleg them). Also I find it hilarious how Minecraft is My World. I am interested tho to see what they look like out of box.

Video Review: **The Box** Ook ah ook ook has been ingrained into my brain thanks to LEGO Racers so I just had to get this guy and this set, luckily I also got the box with it when I ordered it online! The box is really neat and simple in a purple color which you don't see too often, with the set on the front, and back. The back shows off some cool alternate builds which is nice. I like the map background for the box which looks cool. Also I really love the Islanders logo on the top right corner of the box! It all looks quite nice and simple with that old LEGO charm. **The Minifig** I'm gonna make a long paragraph short by saying that this is a great minifigure and you should try and get him in your collection! He has simple printed legs showing off a leaf skirt which looks really great! he has a necklace as well as a red cloth belt on this torso which looks great. His head is pretty simple and has a lot of charm, it has white print with a blue outline and red cheeks as well as the simple classic LEGO smile. The helmet/mask he has is unique to him and looks awesome, its sculpted really well and the feather on top just makes it look neat. He also has a simple but cool staff. I really do love this minifigure! **The Set** The set is a simple chair on a small green plate but it looks really nice! The throne has 2 spears with 2 printed shields on them that look great! I love it when we get printed pieces like these, and this set is great for accessories as you get the 2 spears, 2 shields, staff, treasure chest and coins which is a lot for a tiny set. Speaking of the treasure chest, the sets main play feature is that you can lift the seat up revealing the chest which is a nice and really simple play feature that just works really well. There isn't a whole lot to this set but it really does look nice and comes with a lot of good parts and accessories as well so its a great set for what its worth. If you're able to get it then you should try to! Its still not that expensive or hard to get. What do you think of this little set?

Review: Orient Expedition Yeti's Hideout
TheLunabrick replied to TheLunabrick's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks! Its pretty great and I love how it looks on my shelf. Ive always wanted this set due to the Yeti minifigure, so getting it sealed was a dream come true! If you can get it I would say go for it -
Who is your favorite LEGO Star Wars minifigure and why?

Youtube video review: **The box** This set I actually got the box for! Usually I don't get the boxes with these older sets so its great! Actually I got this set sealed so its even better. The box is really cool looking, showing off the set with mountains in the background which is totally appropriate for the set. The top of the box shows off Miss Pippin Reed and the Yeti so thats pretty nice. The back is also cool, showing 2 alternate builds (I miss when LEGO did this!) as well as a very cool map background that shows all the different Mount Everest sets available for this line! The box is cool and I really dig it! **The Minifigs** The set comes with 1 minifig and technically a "bigfig". Miss Pippen Reed is my favorite Adventurers character so its always great to get another version of her! She has a cool snow hat that's pretty rare so its nice to get it. Her torso is pretty detailed showing a heavy coat, red scarf, and a purse hats really cool and nicely detailed. She comes with a camera and an ice pick so thats pretty cool as well. Overall shes a cool figure! The Yeti is the highlight of the set however. As a really early bigfig he looks great. He is totally brick built however but the large molded Yeti top does a good job blocking the brick built parts and just looks good. Sadly he has no printing of any kind so his eyes are kinda empty and creepy haha. The only articulation this figure has is that his arms can turn 360 degrees and thats really it. He can hold stuff in his hands like a normal minifig which is great! Overall he just looks cool and I love him a lot! **The Set** The set itself looks really nice! Its simple but effective with a really neat play feature to boot! The sets left side is a mountain cafe with icicles and what I believe to be drums? Torches? I honestly have no idea what the front brown parts are but they look cool. On the right side is a small shrine which looks really really good! It has what I believe to be a small bell inside the shrine which looks really nice. The main play feature is very simple, the front of the shrine has a small storage department which you can pull. When you pull it out (revealing a green jewel) it opens up the cave due to a string in the back, revealing the Yeti! Its really neat and simple and just works extremely well. I am super happy with how this set looks and turned out. For such a small set it looks really great on display! **Overall** This set originally sold for what I believe to be either 10$ or 15$ and for that price I would have loved to have had it back then. Sadly I was too little back then so I had to get this on Ebay for 30$ which is really not a bad price! I would highly recommend getting this set for the Yeti figure alone in all honesty. If you're a fan of Yeti's or the Adventurers theme then this is an awesome set to get! Also a small note is that the set also comes with 3 small trading cards and the instructions have a small comic in them which was unexpected and cool to get! What do you guys think about the set? Also the video above goes into more detail and shows off the set better!

Thanks! I wasnt aware that I could embed them lol

Senate duel sounds awesome. I wouldn't mind getting a mustafar set or maybe the naboo energy chamber from episode 1 with Qui Gon, Obi, and Maul in it. Im surprised they've never made a set of the naboo energy chamber battle yet.

Yeah the fig is great! The UFO series as a whole was really underrated imo. The sets and minifigs all looked so great.

Video Review: **The Instructions** My version of the set didn't come with a box so the instructions will have to do. The front of the instructions is what would have been on the box, so it looks pretty neat. It shows off the set flying through space on some alien planet with a purple sky and green ground. It looks quite nice and very alien and weird. The inside of the instructions are simple and looks nice. What is nice is the back of the booklet has alternate builds for the set which is quite nice. Nothing too amazing but it looks good. **The Minifig** The one minifig that comes with the set is Andy Droid who looks absolutely amazing. I adore the UFO line and its minifigures which look great and insanely detailed. I love how detailed and weird the minifigure looks. Its really nice and awesome to have in a collection! I like him a lot and he looks cool with a robotic detailing that just looks really nice. His legs are also printed which is nice to see from a 97 set. Overall he's a great little figure. **The Set** The set is very simple and looks good for the small amount of pieces used in the set. The 2 wings are just large printed pieces that look good. There are no stickers in this set which is great to see! Every piece that has details is indeed printed. I also like all the translucent parts that come with it which is cool. The set is really simple and looks nice. There aren't any actual play features in this set however but you can seat one minifigure in the cockpit and the back thrusters can be turned if you consider that a play feature. On the bottom of the ship is a satellite piece, which I have no idea what the use of it is. I can assume its meant to be like a tractor beam to abduct people. Overall the set looks very good and is very simple and cheap to get a-hold of. You can get this set really easily online for around 8$ which is worth it in my opinion for the great minifigure and cool looking build!

Storing LEGO's with limited space?
TheLunabrick replied to TheLunabrick's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have been considering when just putting them in zip lock bags completely disassembled if they end up taking up too much space. I like that idea to pit them in a plastic tub and keep them safe and stuff. Hadnt really thought of that -
Storing LEGO's with limited space?
TheLunabrick replied to TheLunabrick's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Sorry about the LEGO and add an 's to it lol. But yes they are sets. I don't really like to purchase stuff just for parts and I like to keep my sets on displays. -
The alien minifigs from these sets were so crazyily detailed and that was a large part of the appeal for me. It was common at the time to see such detailed minifigures.

Video Review: Theme: Adventurers Minifigs: 1 Parts: 72 Set #: 5925 Retail at the time: $6 **The Instructions** Sadly I did not get the box for this set when I ordered it off of Ebay but it did come with instructions! The instructions are quite nice and its just a little booklet. The front has what would have been the box art, that being the Pontoon Plane in flight through the jungle. It looks quite nice really. The inside shows an alternate picture of the set and the instructions. Through out the entire booklet is a jungle background which looks very nice. On the back it shows some alternate builds which is really nice. **The Minifig** Harry Cane is the only minifigure that comes with the set. Hes very simple looking but looks quite nice. He has a simple front print on his torso that looks like an aviator jacket and it looks quite nice! He also has a face print that looks very similar to Johnny Thunders in my opinion and a pair of goggles. Its always nice to get goggles in black so that was nice. He has a pair of black binoculars as well. **The Set** The set is very small, but very effective. It only has 3 play features that being a small cargo area in the back, another holding area on the wing where you can hold a shovel and a pickaxe, and the fact that you can spin the turbines. Outside of that thought the set isn't too complex but it looks very very nice. The set is a small brown, tan, and gray plane that while small still manages to look very good. It can comfortably seat one minifigure in the cockpit and behind said cockpit is a small storage compartment which is covered by a sloped piece. Inside said storage department is a 1x2 flat piece with a dynamite print on it as well as a small gray pistol. Now fair warning if you move the set around too much there is a chance the gun could come flying out as there is a hole in front of the storage compartment due to two sloped brown pieces. The set as a whole looks quite nice and great on display! **Overall Thoughts** This small set from 1999 is great for the price it originally retailed at which was only 6$! Getting it now will cost you between $8 to $20 online but the set is very nice and just looks good. Its simple but effective and comes with a really nice minifig as well as some nice parts. What do you think of the set? Thanks for watching or reading this review :)

Youtube vid/Video Review: Set #: 6452 Year: 1999 Pieces: 32 Minifigs: 1 Price on release: $3 Price usually goes for now: 8$ Here is a little gem from the late 90s, a small LEGO Town Space themed set! Now I mostly got this for the minifigure because as a child I played Soccer Mania A LOT, and this fig was among the playable characters. Sadly the set I got did not come with a box but it came with instructions and all the parts and figs~ **The Instructions** Nothing too amazing here, its just a single sheet that folds up on itself. It shows what the front of the box would have looked like on the cover and has an additional image on the inside. The entire thing is done in a gradient of blue that fades into orange which is trying to mimic the sky and red rocks of a desert space station or something. There isn't much to talk about here really. Instructions are instructions. **The Minifig** The set comes with one minifig, that being a random technician dude. He has Steven Spielberg's face so maybe this was his job before making movies? Anyways the figure looks absolutely great! He has black legs and a white printed torso piece that looks really clean and good. Its simple and just looks nice. His hat is just a hard hat in white which is always nice to get. The figure was the main reason I got this set and I'm happy to have him in my collection cause he's pretty sweet! **The Set** This is a tiny set but it has a really simple but awesome play feature which I'll get to in just a moment. The set is on a small tan plate and features a small station with 2 computer panels that are sadly just stickers (I was really hoping they would be printed but alas), and the rocket itself. Now the play feature as mentioned earlier is that you slam down on the lever and it shoots the Rocket up into the sky. This is really simple but its surprisingly fun and works really well! The rocket can actually go a decent distance which is nice. Parts wise the set comes with several nice parts but really this set is something you'll probably get just for the fig. Its still fun tho and doesn't take too much space while looking relatively nice and simple. **Overall thoughts** This is a really nifty set that looks really nice! The minifigure is really great and the play feature works really well. Its also not too terribly expensive online!

Yeah I loved how alien it felt. The shift designs were all great and good lord were the minifigs awesome! The sets and figs just looked so bizarre but in a good way. I also remember the UFO themed race track in LEGO Racers fondly.
-
Who remembers the LEGO UFO series? It was a really weird and short lived space series but I feel like in general its not talked about enough. It had awesome prints and insanely detailed figs. I just felt like making a UFO appreciation thread for the series, if anyone remembers it. So if you have any sets, minifigs, or memories of this series post below!

I got a used set off of Ebay and it lacked a 1x2 black brick, and since I didnt have any extra I used a 1x2 black brick with an opening for an axel. While you cant see it on the build it still sticks in my mind that I had to use a piece that isnt native to the original set. Same goes for the podracer I got. It was missing 3 pieces! 1 grill piece on the left engine and the 2 control sticks. I had to use parts from my left over parts container, and they dont 100% match the color of the original but it works.

Video review: Year - 2014 Pieces - 261 Price - 25$ **THE BOX** The box is pretty nice with some awesome art of Darth Vader lingering over the set as if hes about to grab you. The display of the set looks very nice and appropriate with an action packed scene of the wheel bike in action. The bottom shows the 2 minifigures as most LEGO sets do. On the back it shows off the set again with its play features which includes a flick fire missile, the ability to transform the bike from wheel mode to walking mode, and the fact that you can indeed roll this thing. I really love the little blueprint like showing of the set on the side as well as another action piece on the top right which reenacts a scene from Episode 3. Its really nice and makes the box pop. **THE MINIFIGURES** Obi Wan looks great! He looks like an awesome representation of his on screen character and just looks nice. He comes with a blaster and a guard staff. I am disappointed by the lack of his own light saber as it means you cant have the lightsaber duel before hand, but it is what it is. The fig looks great and has printing that descends onto his legs to show robes. His face is dual sided with one side showing an angry expression and the other showing an unhappy face. Its in my opinion the best look Obi Wan figure we've gotten so far! Tho the lack of a lightsaber for him is disappointing for sure. General Grievous looks GREAT! This is without a doubt the best looking Grievous LEGO has made so far. He can move his arms, legs, and head. He has wonderful printing on his face that shows off his very menacing eyes as well as printing on his arms which just adds to the detail! We've come a long way from the pure white Grievous we got in 2005. I kind of wish he would have came with his cape, but its understandable that he didn't cause I don't know how you would make a cape for a figure like this. He comes with 4 lightsabers and he holds all of them at once obviously. He looks absolutely fantastic and any Grievous fan is going to want this in their minifig collection! **THE SET** The set looks absolutely awesome on display and is a gigantic improvement over the original 2005 version. The wheel bike looks incredibly sinister and fits the evil Grievous very very well! Grievous can indeed sit in the cockpit and he fits just fine and it looks good and natural for him. The back of the cockpit has a holder for the blaster that comes with the set, but that is the only storage that the set offers which is kinda saddening cause there is nowhere at all to put the lightsabers of guard staff. Its not huge but it is disappointing. The bike has a flick fire missile on the cannon side that works quite well. The cannon looks awesome and very menacing! The legs on the set can be positioned in anyway you wish and support the bike extremely well and add to the displayability of the set. A bulk of the set is built around a large clear wheel with a belt that is brick build wrapped around it. The set isn't very hard to put together and looks great. Though I am disappointed that we didn't get a new version of Boga, as the set does feel a little incomplete without the big lizard. **FINAL THOUGHTS** Despite lacking a lightsaber for Obi Wan, Boga, and storage, the set looks great and comes with 2 awesome minifigs. It looks great displayed on a shelf and works very well for play as well! Overall if you can get ahold of this set I would recommend you do so!

Wow this looks great man!
