Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
GlacierPhoenix replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I actually contacted them when I got mine last year about the colouring on them. They said it was a production issue that they would look into. I don't think it ever changed though. They shipped me some of the flame gold ones instead of the blue one I got as a "sorry" -

Pretty much. It would be a good idea to take a screenshot of you order before submitting it then you can refer. Ahh but the sets are out now, in the non North American market which means they're in production and therefore available through B&P. Sometimes additional parts show up, rarely, but often times not. Yeah sometimes they have some abnormalities on what they do have and what they don't... It's consistently inconsistent. Dark red is a retired colour, they now have New Dark Red. Dark red is dead, long live dark red. However I did go take a look under replacement parts and it's not there also which is unusual. And yes that would be a plausible occurrence -

Mid legs are probably expensive because they're not producing them in the kind of quantities as other piece. Also yeah the Patroni were very different costs, I got a ton of otters but only one hare. -

They were both quite expensive pieces. Haven't seen hair that expensive in a while. -

And more important the Sabine hair was used in Ninjago City so they should still be able to make the piece. -

I fully expect the owl to show up later. In the summer wave it may be exclusive but it will show up later and I fully expect it to come back in this scenario you mentioned. -
It really depends on how many new molds they would have to produce for the lines and if you delay an entire big bang theme then you probably have production capacity for a smaller there. Also you don't want to launch your major new China focused theme when China is under lockdown and the factories there likely aren't operational.

You should check out the Marvel 2020 discussion board for discussion on this set as this is not the proper place for that. -

Since everyones talking about price here Lego costs a lot less than we think to make and in general most stuff here is being sold above 10 cents per piece which is the defacto set standard. They're making bank off selling these parts, why do you think they bought the largest part store, there's a lot of money on the table here. Also think of all the overhead for sets vs this, sets have marketing costs, distribution, retail markup while with B&P they just have distribution. -

Also whose to say that the centaur body is all one piece. I suggested earlier that they could have a separate body piece that has torso and leg attachments. That would make it easier to fit into a blind bag and more versatile. -

I had another idea for what we could see from a centaur. They likely would have to give it a range of motion so it can stand. Therefore why not give it the fawn legs x2 and create a body piece that takes legs and has a spot to put a head. Then it lets them either use fawn legs or normal legs depending on what they want to do and they can reuse printed legs in the future if they want to do a different body print. -

Honestly, put it in dark brown and a decent amount of printing on it and you'd avoid the cartoony aspect. Also the fact that they can even make this piece for a theme gives hope for Harry Potter -

Another thing is in past years they've done a small Nov/Dec wave of a handful of $20 and under sets and they could bump the Wandavision set up if it is small. -

If you look at the early minifigs they only on average had around 1-2 accessories each and only about half of them were new. Now almost all CMF's have more unique new pieces than before as well, they also almost always include leg printing now while before it was 50/50. Another thing is now we're getting a lot more... unique minifig pieces which are harder to use in the future and thus would likely have a higher cost vs a piece that will be used again. -
You know I look at this like Amazon. Amazon has tons of sellers that do their own fulfillment and it's sold under the Amazon brand.

Because it's much cheaper than getting it on Bricklink. And eventually you will want to use it in something and it won't be in production anymore. -

I have a feeling that if they do a Rebels set in 2018 it would probably be something like Zeb and Noghri speeder bike chase
