Look at that wild flock of meese! This title was given to me by Ras 74 after a conversation about the REAL plural of moose. No matter what anyone says, they tellers of untruths if they tell you "meese" is not the plural of moose. It went something like this. Ras: "What is the plural of moose?" Iz: "Meese!" Ras: "No it's not!" Iz: "Yes, it is." Ras: "Are you sure?" Iz: "Yes! It really is! 1 Moose, 2 Meese!" Ras: "No, it is not!" Iz: "Yes, it IS!" And so on.....

I absolutely agree with Batbrick on this, they are the best Daleks I have ever seen , (really great photography too) I have been keeping an eye of all the Doctor Who MOCs I can find around. Very, very nice! I like the Doctor too, lovely sonic screwdriver.

I believe the correct way of saying that is, "Tellers of un-truths! Your pants have combusted!"

Alright guys, I'm coming forward with the truth. Classic Pirates has planned another contest. This was meant to be a new direction that 'Behind the Helm' is taking in the new year. Each episode released gets another piece of the puzzle. On a very special (secret) date next year the map will be completed and will reveal a massive piece of news to the Lego Pirate community. Some further details will be released about this in the first Episode of next year. Keep an eye out me hearties.

They wouldn't make one up themselves as small children wouldn't know what it is all about and wouldn't want to buy it. TLG aims at children with most of their sets and would need something licensed to base it on, for example a popular new movie or tv show. It is quite big in the AFOL world so hopefully something similar will soon be around for the kids and then TLG would be able to make some sets. The Golden Compass was also a kids movie that was Steam Punkish / Sherlock Holmes-ish era. I love those types of movies and eras, like Around the World in 80 days, the Time Machine, Kate and Leopold ( acting) etc. What you need to ask yourself is... what is Steampunk and what is not? I believe what Correus was saying when he mention so many different things including Sir A C-D's 'Sherlock Holmes', is that they all would fit together nicely in Steampunk MOC's etc. I would love to see TLG do some wrought-iron looking things, like the street lamp that Jamie designed in the Winter Toy Shop set. And sure Correus, we can dream! I'm right there with you. Seeing this type of movie makes me very excited for the possibility of future sets from TLG.

I think that for TLG to bring out some Steam Punk sets there needs to be some really popular KIDS shows and movies that they can base them on something that kids would have actually watched and understood. As Sherlock Holmes is definately not a kids movie I do not think any sets will come from there in particular. There has been some different kids movies like Steam Boy and many of Hayao Miyazaki films would be super cool to make sets from. But as I already said, I think for TLG to make new sets it would have to be from a new movies or tv series that the kids aged 6 - 12 (the usual set ages range) would understand and be able to relate to easily. I can't see them making Special Edition Steam Punk sets for the AFOL's in the near future that is for sure.

I was wondering about that as I wrote it, but I was too lazy to think about it really! As you get older the only thing you want for your birthday is to NOT be reminded of that fact.
