"More gems are always useful, having more you'll be more versatile and less likely to end up in situations where you're facing enemies you can't defeat due to not having the correct gem. Imagine for instance if you had only your opal and met an ice elemental. Then you'd be out of luck, whereas if you had a ruby you could have melted it down to water in no time. So in general I'd suggest getting as many gems as you can, and make sure you're familiar with all of them."

While I like that sorcerer's shield gets damage output I have to agree with Jimbee here, the amount of work this introduces for the QM is considerable. So how about just using an element selected by the sorcerer?

Uhm, while I agree that is nice I don't think it's the best thing, the best thing about Billund is rather all the cool stuff we get to do because we're in the heart of LEGO. (and the best thing about Eurobricks Events in general is clearly the people, everything else comes second).
