  1. Uhm, if he does mean me I have to wonder what he's been smoking, I certainly didn't have any negative interaction with poor Widanko, may he rest in peace.
  2. What a grim way to start the day, poor Fenk Intriguing idea, it's certainly worth looking into at least.
  3. Oh wow, neat poster. And even though this isn't formally a signup thread it looks like a de-facto signup thread, so I guess I'll add myself to the list. That reminds me of yet another reason why we need a LEGO bowler hat; to make Hercule Poirot
  4. Agreed. Also, if someone for some reason doesn't want to use their night action (I did this a lot in Baritones 2) it's common courtesy to send a PM to the host saying so.
  5. Oh yes, very excited 24 days, 19 hours and 30something minutes until my train for Gothenburg leaves (still a bit sceptic about spending so much time accompanied only by swedes though, I fear I somehow will be infected by it )
  6. Oh, wow. That's quite a lot cheaper than the cheapest on Bricklink. I want one , and freddie wants one too, so two of it. Not sure what's the easiest way of handling that though, me ordering and having it shipped to you, or just you doing all of it? (from what I can see it doesn't look like they're shipping abroad)
  7. A game of cards sounds fine, can't see much else to do around here at the moment.
  8. Indeed. Received, read and understood. Ready to go.
  9. And here I am too. A bit late with replying as I've spent about a week at the world's second largest computer party (The Gathering, in Hamar, Norway) which means I didn't have much time for using my computer (ironic, isn't it )
  10. Of course I want to join
  11. I was thinking something like that too, as guidelines, not hard enforced rules, I think we should trust the hosts that much.
  12. What a great place for them to be!
  13. Another option is Inkscape, a free and open source vector graphics editor. I guess you should just try out some different programs and find whichever suits your needs best
  14. Wow, lovely minigun, and that ammo belt is excellent! (now if only there was an MG3 (or at least an MG42, it's similar enough) to connect it to, then I'd be in heaven ) (and now I read "and upcoming MG42" over at the Brickarms forums, so now I'm just eagerly waiting for it )
  15. So, first of all: The pictures don't do it justice, it looks a lot better IRB Amazing work, as usual, no idea how you come up with all these brilliant details. Only thing that bothers me is that I didn't get to see the version with scaffolding and crane IRB, something which I think might have been very positively received by the visitors (in case someone is wondering: the visitors (to the train show where I and DNL spent yesterday and today as representatives of Brikkelauget, the Norwegian LUG) loved the castle DNL brought.) And I think my favourite thing about this MOC is the kid who spent like half an hour yesterday just looking at it, or rather, looked at it for some minutes, went away, returned to look more, etc. Very cute. (and a little PS: I have absolutely no idea how many times I've said "bricklink.com" during the weekend )
  16. Those are all great colours, but it looks like dark blue is in short supply. Or do you have something up your sleeve perhaps? If you do I'm all for those colours, but I might change my mind about dark brown. At least the metallic silver has to be included ("only" 1.50 USD from someone who has it in decent numbers (like Helge, who might give discounts)). If only dark tan was available, or dark green... (my favourite colours at the moment )
  17. Though I hatestrongly dislike huge pictures in signatures (in fact I've disabled signatures because there are so many huge ones around that steal all my precious screen height) I suppose it could help if the Time Crash links in your signature were a bit bigger than they are now, a good looking banner is much more eye-catching than small text links.
  18. Very nice! You've done a great job portraying the different characters' reactions to each other (and to the changes in environment they've all experienced). Looking forward to seeing what the results will be, how long are you planning to leave the poll open?
  19. Engraved name tags would be cool, and as a side note in that regard; Matija in Brikkelauget does brick engraving.
  20. Thank you, thank you Yes, the overhang bothers me a bit too, have to see if I can shorten the overhang without it getting too close to the treads (there's not much room around there ) Maybe switching to smaller gears in the front could help, will have to see about that. Thanks! Thanks, and it really does fit two (wonder if I can make it fit three, though I have no idea how that could be done. Thanks. I'll see if I can take some interior pics this weekend (guess it means I have to fix the interior though, it got a bit rushed nearing the end. )
  21. Though I wouldn't exactly cry if it's a t-shirt I would prefer something LEGO related. And yes, 20-30 euro sounds fine.
  22. At least 5? This sounds bloodier than a Hinckley mafia game Looking forward to it, always been annoyed about writers that don't have the guts to kill off useless, uninteresting characters. Though it can at times be overused, of course.
  23. Finally managed to put together a version of my main battle tank that I've dubbed Mertseger (after a minor Egyptian godess that protected the Valley of the Kings). It fits two minifigs, one driver and one gunner/commander. Some stats: Width: 11.2 studs (10 studs plus 1.5 plates on each side) Length: 22 studs Height: 7 bricks Time spent: No idea, this MOC has come a long way since my first attempts in mlcad Number of pieces: I forgot to count ..UAV view ..the turret can traverse a full 360 degrees ..working suspension And one with a minifig to show the scale There are quite a few things that I want to improve, like shave off a few plates from the height, make it longer, add more details, etc. But that's for another day. Still, suggestions for improvements are highly welcome And all the images link to the full set on Flickr.
  24. Uhm, no, a bit frustrated perhaps? (I on the other hand am quite annoyed about my own failure. Live and learn I guess. (or die and learn as it was in this case ))
  25. Indeed, I have a bad habit of concluding too early and not question my conclusions later on. Which leads to annoying results some times.
