Lego would have been given special access, maybe like you say 1.5 years. I guess they might have had to speed that one up a bit?

To be fair, the Aston Martin was revealed on the same day (or day before) it was available to VIPs. The Treehouse has started selling by Lego and they haven’t even revealed it yet so I don’t why everyone is panicking

It’s only £4.99 in the UK. I was so surprised to see them at like $9.99 in the US Lego store when I went to Texas April this year.

I can’t but Lego has tightened up on leaks getting out this year so if it was any other year this happened I would agree with you. Not this late into the design cycle, impossible/too costly. I hope so but I doubt it. If they did release it, it would probably be under a TLM2 D2C set number.

Wow. I look at and enjoy leaks if they are released but at the same time I wouldn’t miss them one bit if none ever come about again. I remember the days I wanted to be a leaker too. No. Some people only want to buy them early so they can get their 60 seconds of fame. I can understand if people want to boost their channel but there is a right way to do it and this isn’t it.

Every designer in Lego is given 2 years to design 1 set. I don’t think it’ll take that long with SC? I mean don’t quote me on that. D2C designers probably need the 2 years but I wouldn’t have thought the SC designers do?

What software do you use to draw these?

It’s reasonably priced.

There’s a possibility the smaller sets will stay the same price. Sets with lots of smaller parts as opposed to sets with few big parts are usually cheaper so they could just have lots of smaller pieces, maybe for props as everyone is saying?
