  1. I'm generally spoken more fond of smaller sets, easier to afford for kids, but I guess it comes down to sets getting sold at different price ranges. Having 3 sets at 50 - 70 dollars/euro's, isn't ideal compared to a more even distribution of ~ 70 - 100 - 160 The main criticism/concern I have is that they could pump out way more playsets in general. Gabby's dollhouse, a television series aimed at an audience who's barely old enough for Lego, gets more sets than Ahsoka, shouldn't that be concerning to all of us? Is Star Wars not appealing to kids anymore? I get Star Wars is many things now, and things like Andor don't get a huge wave (although I think a Fondor with a certain R1 character would have outsold the Justifier ridiculously easily). But Ahsoka is literally the spin-off of an animated series. If any of the live action series up to now should actively target a younger audience, it's this one. But to me, that also requires a sizable presence in the toy aisle.
  2. Also according to brickmerge, the Droideka is 65 euro instead of 60 as reported by promobricks https://www.brickmerge.de/75381-1_lego-star-wars-lego. Edit: seem more sets are more expensive: the Tantive IV is 80 instead of 70. Piececount is 654. The Falcon is 85 euro for 921 parts Boonta Eve Podrace Diorama is 80 euro instead of 70, 718 parts.
  3. Ooeeh, that's actually quite nice imo! We usually get more value out of a playset compared to a diorama. (Imo there are already too many adult oriented sets. We need to keep this theme sustainable long term, therefore should be enough affordable sets mainly for kids. We adults are competent enough to create our own dioramas out of a playset, I would think.)
  4. My first thoughts as well... But then I started wondering what else it could be? Last May they did Disney, I feel like HP is a bit overdone now as CMF? Marcel gets one this year already... Or could it really be Star Wars? Only alternative is an one-off like the muppets? Those tend to be released around May-april.
  5. I can't be the only one noticing Lego tends to spread out quite a lot of the licensed releases/reveals these days? Probably to keep the hype train going all year round? (And hoping our wallets can swallow it more easily :p)
  6. These pieces are all IP and will most likely not be available on PAB:
  7. I'm gonna be disappointed if it's actually Yoda's starfighter I really have trouble believing they're actually going to do Yoda's starfighter. It's so uninteresting? Especially with this 4+ set on shelves:
  8. I would think more than 1 set this time around. Season 1 was critically acclaimed (rightly so), so I expect viewership to actually grow somewhat. We're bound to get a Fondor Haulcraft, but that would be a 100-160 euro/dollar set at system scale. So I guess that leaves room for at least a cheaper 30-60€/$ set as well. As we near the events of Rogue one, we'll also see more recognizable ships and vehicles, a.k.a. stuff that sells well...
  9. Belgium doesn't have them, unfortunately.
  10. He has already blown up an Imperial base! (But yeah that seems possible)
  11. I'm personally very happy didn't go with blue, makes it a better parts package to MOC with
  12. I agree, especially the nose and forward fuselage look 'flat'. Especially if you consider the complex angles a lot of MOCs manage to achieve at Minifigure scale.
  13. Is there any confirmation that we won't get any droids in that set? Seems weird to me not to get any bad guys/droids, similar to the 501st "battlepack" from 2020, especially considering the price and low piece count of that set.
  14. Yeah, we were all expecting a certain moff or admiral or... something :p I do think it's weird that they've included Mando though: we already get him in a lot of sets... maybe he will be flying one of those ships?
  15. Could the Yoda intercepter 75360 be mistaken with a vehicle from the latest episode, since it Grogu could easily be mistaken with Yoda on blurry images? It fits somewhat with the setnumber, since 75361 was the spider-droid-thing?
  16. Hahaha, yeah... that's probably the only way that could work! We should compare with other 'vehicle-sets': Jusitifier, €170 euro, 4,5 minifigures Imperial Light Cruiser, €160, 6 Minifigures (incl baby Yoda) AT-AT, €160, 6 Minifigures AT-TE, €140, 5 Minifigures, 3 droids Inquisitor Scythe, €100, 4 Minifigures. Ambush on Ferrix, €80, 3 Minifigures. Unless the minifigures are front and center, due to a lack of vehicles, such as with the throne room set or the rumoured Yavin IV, I don't think we should be expecting that many minifigures. The only recent +- exception I can think of was the Bad Batch shuttle, which was €110 and had 5 minifigures. (But it was €10 more expensive, before recent inflation)
  17. Thank the maker! I would be very surprised. My guess would also be 4 minifigures like with the A-wing vs Tie-Advanced.
  18. Seems like they were added OOS.
  19. I have to agree. 630 pieces for 70 euro is already stretching it, but these are mostly small pieces, with no minifigures. The two printed pieces don't seem 'crucial' either. I think most of us could assemble the model easily with only a small Bricklink/PAB purchase to supplement our own collection...
  20. Could Yoda's starfighter not easily been mistaken for something like this? (remember the Sebulba figure that was rumoured with Grievious his fighter?) (would still be weird imo, considering it's niche and we have a Jedi Starfighter on shelfs right now... ) ^ that seems too small, I could see those enigines being 2x2 wide, the cockpit 4 studs wide... sized as a large microfighter Maybe combined with Dooku his speeder-thing, it also appeared in episode III, used by Anakin during Palpatines arrest, so it has some more iconic value to it?
  21. Sooo you have a set list? Lego was wise to hide it from me. Now their failure is complete. If they will not give the list than perhaps Foggyfate will..
  22. I like your ideas. Although 4 figures in a 35€ set is pushing it, this seems like an easy set for Lego to make at that price point? It's so obvious at that price point, it almost must have been pitched already? Never thought of it! The ion Cannon could easily be made, relatively cheap with these new pieces: Insert a play (shooting) feature, build some landscape around it, include some nice figures... Should be do-able at a relatively low budget. But somehow, I'm afraid there won't be enough appeal for such a set. The Nebulon B frigate is really something Lego must make, it's such an interesting design. I believe they will one day as an UCS since it was included in the poll for the gunship. Considering its shape, I don't see it as a system set though. It will be inherently hard to play with/swoosh... (I'm saying this as a big fan of system sets as opposed to overly expensive UCS sets that could as well have been smaller affordable system versions, that were affordable for kids.)
  23. Similarly, I'm also a bit bitter that there are no smaller playsets and all they offer is this huge thing, clearly aimed at adults. I don't believe any smaller sets were rumoured so far? We got kids. My wife loved LOTR as a kid herself, we would buy some playsets for sure. But this? I doubt it. I also feel these large sets meant as display pieces simply don't have the charm some smaller playsets have, but that's down to personal taste I guess.
