"I already have way too many Santas" was the deciding factor in my not bothering with the lackluster City Advent Calendar this year so I'm just as happy there's no Santa in the set. ;)

Thoughts on the reveal: The set still looks good, the Canadian price is not unexpected based the rumoured US price, but that "Through The Bricks" AR thing is possibly the most underwhelming promotional aid I've ever seen. Has anyone seen it do anything besides make a tiny Diagon Alley float just far enough away that you can't really see anything or interact with in any way?

I've been expecting it ever since my nephew declared HS his new favourite theme. First it was Nexo, now HS. I live in fear of him deciding he likes any of my favourite themes... ;)

I've only had one experience where the seller shorted me and didn't refund or replace the missing item. It was too small an amount to be bothered to do much about other than add that seller to my list of people never to order from again. (And for the record, it's a list of one...) Generally when there have been issues (and there haven't been many) the sellers have been great about resolving them.

I'm not hating it - it's a nice set. But as someone who mainly collects things that are minifig scale and is coming to terms with the fact that my Lego room isn't a Tardis I probably won't buy it. And my wallet appreciates that sometimes Lego makes a set that I think is cool but have no desire to own. ;)

I skipped the Knight Bus because the Knight Bus is one of the few I have from the original sets. But I didn't skip the Hogwarts Express, despite having it from the original run so there's no real logic.

I saw people posting about having bought the Halloween pieces in Billund a couple of months before they finally showed up here around the end of September. So while it's unlikely that Easter stuff is out somewhere this early, it's not impossible. But either way, I'm looking forward to the next BAM selection... ;)

In Toronto it's usually early January, April, July, October. Occasionally there's something like the Christmas pieces from last year that are in addition to the regular quarterly cycle. And this year the new quarter with the Halloween stuff didn't show up until almost the end of October but they stocked the BAM bin with leftover Halloween stuff from last year until then.

TRU Canada was a separate, and profitable, business unit so we still have stores. But this is the first time I've ever seen them put stuff out early.

Found a couple of boxes in the wild at Toys R Us and managed to get 15/16 with about 20 minutes of bag feeling. I was rushing and mistook the Gamer's controller for the Bear's rainbow tile, but there are worse minifgures to have duplicates of. ;)

My first thought was "I love them". My second thought was "Maybe I don't have to spend the money on the Steamboat Willie set now". ;) -
I thought that too but the WV sets usually release in October with early VIP in September, so hopefully there will be new sustainable trees in the WV set AND something in November. ;)

I installed the latest update on my PS3 last night . I have the same number of adventure world and level pack spots in the shard that I've always had. Given the extreme number of update issues that have accompanied all previous updates, I would be more inclined to believe that there was an update glitch than that any year 2 IPs have been cancelled.

More likely it confirms that the Ninjago Movie series has 20 minifigures.

If you're having the A-Team issue and you report it to customer support and they suggest that you delete the game and reinstall, don't bother. It won't fix the issue. Also, as of this morning Customer Support helpfully says they're aware of the issue but have no timeline on when it will be fixed or how it will be fixed and recommends just watching for yet another update.
