I built the new Ecto-1 this afternoon. As much I liked the original this new one is a better set in pretty much every way. That being said the two look great together!

Ghostbusters (Reboot) 2016 sets rumors and discussion
Evildeadman replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for the link! For some reason it doesn't show up when searching on the site. I just finished building the firehouse and classic Ecto-1 a couple of days ago and can't wait to add this set. -
With that exclusive figure is there anyway of ordering it online? I have the calendar and coupon but the closest Lego Store to me is now about four hours away so it's something I don't get to very often, usually only once or twice a year. I guess if not I may have to plan a road trip.

While I am looking forward to the new movie I do wish that it was a sequel as opposed to a reboot. My thought was the original team would have retired years ago due to an accident that cost Egon his life. Peter and Ray went back to working at a university where Abby and Erin of the new team would have attended one of their lectures. Leading to them writing their book and setting into motion the events of the new movie.

Ghostbusters (Reboot) 2016 sets rumors and discussion
Evildeadman replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
As a somewhat lapsed hardcore fan of the Ghostbusters franchise, I actually built my own full size proton pack, ecto goggles and traps about eight years ago, I don't really get all of the hate for this reboot. Maybe it will be good maybe it won't but I at least want to see it before making any kind of judgement on it. Regardless this set is definitely something I will be picking up when it is released to go with my classic Ecto 1. I still haven't decided on getting the Firehouse as as much as I want it that price just scares me! -
It looks like something from Five Nights at Freddy's. I think I'm going to need it...

My sister went to Disney World and while there she went to the Lego Store and picked me up Aaron and Clay keychains. A few minutes with a candle and I now have helm less Aaron and Clay figs! I do have the Lance minifig that came with the magazine in Europe but really would like the rest of them especially Macy.

While I don't have any sales numbers, it is my understanding that most Lego themes run at least three years so I wouldn't worry about them cancelling it any time soon. The hardcover Book of Monsters shows both Forest and Water monsters in addition to the Lava monsters so I would say we have at least two more planned years and then even more if the line is successful.

Lego themes that we would like to happen
Evildeadman replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I would say Steven Universe would make a fantastic licensed theme! There are lots of characters to make into minifigs and the Gem fusions and monsters would make great buildable sets.- 451 replies

Does anyone have any idea on when the summer sets may be due out in the US? I am seriously eyeing the preorders on Amazon.de and may end up pulling the trigger on at least the four new Ultimate sets and Macy's Thunder Mace if it may be a while before they come out here.

It looks like it comes out June 1st. Here is a closer pic.

While I think it is a nice enough set I do wish the Black Knight Mech looked a little more like the cartoon. Provided they are available I may look at swapping out the blue pieces with gray pieces when I get the set. I am super excited to get a proper knight Robin with helm and Whiparella though! I really hope we get a Queen Halbert in her battle armor at some point. I loved the scene in episode 10 where the King and Robin come out in their mechs and then the Queen comes out!

I just got the new issue yesterday and next month has a Lava Warrior minifig! I'm looking forward to it as he definitely has a different look compared to the Flame Thrower. And here are the Spider Globlins from this month's issue terrorizing Ava!

Hello! I'm from E-town, KY and I just recently got back into Lego. What really got me interested again is the Nexo Knights line. When I was a kid one of my favorite toy lines was Hasbros The Visionaries. It was a really cool mix of magic and technology. Unfortunately the line didn't last too long and only got out two waves of figures and a few vehicles. Fast forward to a few months ago and I was shopping in Target and passed by a Lego Star Wars display. Someone had stuck a couple of Nexo Knights sets in the display and they immediately caught my attention. I headed over to the Lego aisle and was just blown away at the Nexo Knights sets. Here was the same blending of Knights and technology that I loved so much in The Visionaries line. After looking through all the sets I ended up taking the Fortrex and the King's Mech home with me. And now I'm all caught up with all the first wave sets and am eagerly awaiting the Summer sets! In addition to the Nexo Knights line I have also begun dabbling in some Marvel and DC Superhero, Ninjago, Chima and City sets. And I seriously have my eye on the Classic TV Batcave as I love that show. I'm already in the process of converting my game room into my Lego room as I have a feeling my collection is going to continue to grow as I find more sets and themes that interest me. Thank you for letting me join and I look forward to taking part in this awesome community you have here!
