    Pencil box MOC

Hello Eurobrickers! UPDATE: After four months of painful BLing (lost package, NSS, etc.) the bricks came in for the actual pencilbox. The building is appox 14 brick tall and sits on a 16x24 baseplate. It's about the ideal size for my desk space vs storage capacity Where Mary lives, this level has bigger windows for the looks. I tried to achieve a German country house-style with a classic look to fit my other sets (and taste) Has a doormat to stop the door from accidentally opening, it has smaller windows so the pens won't open it. (Thank you, SSJ2 Dark!) Yo, Juliet! The Lego guy wants to give a ride for Mary. Maybe he hasn't realized that his "family" car is only for one person. --------------- I just started a pencil box MOC for my office desk. I'm mostly into the classic town theme, and since my desk has a few classic town buildings (mostly from the 78-84 era, it's a kind of a relaxing timetravel to look at them) around, I tried to make my MOC matching them. Now, to the point: could you give me a few advices on how to improve it? I do look at your MOCs with awe (and a little envy), but I'd prefer to build in the 80's style (the begining of the 4 stud wide vehicle era that could hold a minifig) Boundary conditions: - The building has to be strong enough to handle about a "cup" (my current pencil box) of pens, knife, brush, a pair of scissors etc. - It has to match my current sets in colors, brick selection, building style etc. (361, 6363, 6365 currently) - I neither want to "overdo" (stuff too much things) nor have it too plain/lifeless - Of course, it will be a real building, but it's in the planning phase, and since i do not have a room full of bricks, i made it up in lcad and planned to buy used parts to build. To cut it simple, any suggestions are welcome, but keep in mind that it's my first public MOC :) thank you The black "wall" behind the front door and window is there to avoid the stuff I threw in there to open the door/window accidentally. There is a cross of green 1x4 bricks in the middle to avoid the pens/etc to slip. EDIT: updated front
