Im honestly going to be very surprised if the $500 naming soon will be anything but stark tower. Like honestly could it a bigger helicarrier? Or Avengers Tower? like sure a liberty set makes sense eventually but not this soon or at this price point. Unless they go really all out on the scale of the thing but its a location thats once and done. Atleast the Helic and Towers are in multiple movies and shows.

I feel He forgets that new collectors age into existence every wave and thats likely who Lego were referencing. Like sure theres been like seven uses of that Ironman but to five year olds it will be collectable to them. its why we have yearly police. It sells a ton. Yearly Spidey and Ironman makes sense now and will help fund the budget for other sets. Heck atleast the newer mechs were from that new Marvel Mech Strike.It would be great to get more based on that!

The designer said it was the opposite. It was the daily bugle that had the budget for all of the new figs but the smaller sets came out sooner than expected. for instance the classic mysterio was made for the bugle but the monster truck that reused him came out early. makes sense as they will have sold a lot of the smaller sets with the at the time “exclusive” figs!

I seriously think Stark tower seems like the best bet. Sure Avengers tower is in more of the media just Stark has much more in way of play features and can show off two teams (thanks to time heist) Theres just such a better space for figs over what was covered for AoU In Avengers you straight up get all these listed characters in the tower at some point in the film or in endgame… Cap With helmet, Widow Hulk Thor Hawkeye Mk7 Loki Cap with Hair(Endgame) Mk84 Stark in BlackSabbath Shirt Stark in Swat Banner AntMan Rumalo Sitwell Pierce Coulson Pepper Then add a few figs like the Waitress, cops, civs and the usual Chitauri and you have a great set! if Marvel go super crazy they could include other stuff though like characters from AoS and even takes on the other Netflix characters like a comic iron fist or Luke cage.

Stark tower makes the most sense , moreso than Avengers Tower. New asgard would be a very hard sell for a $500 set.

Someone edited the wiki and changed it. pretty annoying when MkV was a gap in the Wiki for good reason: It was a cut suit. The MCU scrapped a fight scene in IW where Rhodey remote controlled a suit for the Edinburgh fight (Mk4) the suit is destroyed and he then uses a “Mk5” for the Wakanda fight however With the loss of the scene the mkV was never used in that film and the Mk4 just gained its back weapons that were designed. A similar change happened in Endgame where they planned to use the MkV for the final fight however it was scrapped yet again and Phil Saunders designed a new MkVI and Iron Patriot Mk2. Annoying when people Edit wikis without knowing the lore behind stuff. Edit: oh wow Scarilian beat me to it 😂

Realistically its gonna be around the size of the Bugle so I really cannot see Lego having the parts to swap between the two just because of how many parts would be needed for the party deck of Avengers Tower. Mine is pictured in my display pic and its gonna have like a quarter of that amount of pcs. Lego would include extra parts for changing small things akin to Builboards but not a entire couple floors of a tower. Whilst I want it to be Stark Tower I feel the the AoU Avengers tower seems much more likely due to the sheer amount of interior scenes we got that Lego can copy. there is enough however if they capitalize on the lobby area. Realistically they could do Five floors: Three floors of a Open Lobby for a Cap VS Cap with a bunch of offices and the cafe at the bottom. Would work great for easter eggs via stickers. (Fun fact the CGI team just copied the DNEG food area in their offices) fourth floor would be mainly the landing deck, The Interior for this floor could be a simple bedroom. The Stark sogn here would hve the obvious play feature of Knocking the S T R and K off. Fifth floor could be somewhat a bit taller than the other floors, it needs the External Armor Gantry but could include the curved bridge below for Thor Vs Loki, I could see them skipping the balcony though! The lounge and MiniBar along with the Mk7 make sense as central features, maybe play features to eject a window and a minifig then a seperate one to shoot the pod out the window. Roof makes sense for Selvig and the portal machine. I would love them to push for 6 floors though giving a floor for the Thor Vs Loki fight meaning we get the gantry, balcony and landing pad the top three external features.

Yeah that will make sense for whiplash but it would be a great addition for indy on its own anyway. Most excited to see this tower as ive spent near double on my own. best guess is its skipping the metlife section and each floor will be scenes from the films. guess a very small size quinjet could be a possibility for it as No way it will be able to hold any of the last five or so we have had.

A new group part pack would make sense like the batman shields/blast pieces/ninjago swords.

Ooof wonder how the buster is gonna go! I feel as though the hall of armor could be cool but only if they shell out for some new microfigs Drone might not be that great without stickers though. I ended up army building mine. I have 8 normal ones from the sets and had to make 3 sonic and 3 flamethrower ones lol

I think a couple pods with one old microfig makes sense at minimum. Some new ones would be amazing tho! Excited to see the tower for obvious reasons. Guessing other than the Helicarrier the builds are gonna be christmassy, Some webs will be a day and power blasts for another make sense.

Guess they had a surplus of the Avengers game Figs. Why on earth not the hawkeye? The rest are really common now apart from Fury. Heck all of them have been magazine freebies now. Technically we will be getting TWO arc reactors. If the spares work as normal. I thought the D+ Show mech was WW2 Ironman ? Sakar Ironman would be cool tho. Id rather have What If Ultron tbh.

Leg prints would be good tbh! The arm prints were great!

I was really hoping the Bugle has Spider Armor mk1. Heck it would be amazing using the new armor that Wrecker cones with.

I straight up modded the old one to have the missing engines and hold the pod in the middle out of some spares. The exterior is great sure, but It wouldn't have been that crazy for Lego to do it.Heck even a scaled down pod could have worked. The interior is really bad instead of it! The AOU quinjet style doors with technic would have been amazing but no. We get same amount of seating and honestly not that much more standing space compared to the IW one!

oh wow. The benatar interior is terrible. How they didnt make a pod is beyond me! They would just need a scaled up mechanism like the AOU quinjet. Heck they even used the parts that you would use FOR such doors l. Such a shame for a 2x8 of standing space. The stands and external is amazing but really dropped the ball imo!

Gutted no pod in the Benatar! also Thanos has four backstuds! Who was it who wanted that earlier in thread?

Everything apart from the Benatar eh! guess im skipping the ironmonger. I thought the size would give better shaping but eh?

Lego builds are rarely ever in scale with any Minifigs or bigfigs tbh. MiniFigs were designed with the proportions of toddlers so its always been a weird problem!l with that sizing for cars and everything else to go with them being such size.

Moreso Igor had a ugly build because of his size.especially when he had to seat a figure too. that also reminds me. Are the £10 mechs for this year all done then? Ock+Spidy,Cap,Thor,Miles? honestly they should do a war machine Mk2 for the mech line next year. Would work great.

The problem is when we do get mechs that size (such as Igor) they are too small for enough detail and get trashed to hell and back. Im sure kids would rather have a huge imposing War monger. Personally Something like this with stickers or print when it is too big its far easier to mod for a smaller size than modding something smaller to mod bigger.

The general Public dont know the ship AS the Benatar tbh. You would be surprised the amount of people who call it or think its the Milano. The guardians ship is enough of a name while the visuals and recognition sell it!
