Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Ghostcat replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
When I saw how good the legs and arms were i knew it had to be a issue with storing the mk43 inside. Thanks for showing It was stretched to fit it inside. I dont get why they didnt do the hot toys route. They had a torso and head that could be used with the model (The full figure could also fit albeit using rubber protection to slide the legs down the buster legs) They shoulda go with correct scale and told people to pop the mk43s legs off. -

Wait I thought this was confirmed by one of the designers of the hero line around the time the bugle came out They moved over budget to marvel because DC didnt have the movies to advertise the theme essentially. -

Looks like the chest proportions are so Wonk as theres space for the buildable mk43 in there! The legs and Arms are spot on so thats the only reason they had to stretch the middle out.It also looks like we got another use for the new lense peace. -

Holy shit How is my tiny Moc better than the£500 set. Im so dissapointed and laughing at it. The chest opens up . Thats cool however the designers completly missed the gold loading arms that hold the chest on are supposed to move with it, Heck they dont even reach the chest wtf! -

Its interesting that the Mk2 wasn't built with banner unlike the mk1. mk2 also managed to shownup in two films too despite it not really achieving much 😂 I still kinda wish they hadnt hve scrapped the original Hulkbusting out the Hulkbuster scene for IW. The reshot scene with Corvus was pretty lame. -

Aww Yiss! Happy its the Mk44. Now to hope Lego do a no brainer and make the buildable Ironman Fit in. Even if its just the torso and head! -

Im sad if its the Mk48 buster. Lego coulda made a selling point of the first buster if the mk43 buildable could fit inside! -

A Xmen mansion would be amazing one day but Marvel will hold off on allowing that until the Xmen are in the films a bit more. Xmen Hatley castle would be amazing as a set tbh. I made a city scale one. Would love to see one with much more budget behind it! -

Iirc Designers claim the the 18+ age rating is more to sell sets to older people and outside of that it usually goes in line with the type of Play features. Still models usually get older ratings. Sets with a lot of action and stuff like stud shooters is lower. -

Oh for sure I was just stipulating that its a shame in general it didnt get anything. I still think AoU still got one of the best waves of Lego we have seen for a movie. I cant really see much fault in it. Im just hoping the New Quinjet is based on it even though the first one was pretty much perfect -

Most Star wars sets are boxes, Its still a spaceship at the end of the day though. They do pretty great with kids just slap some stud shooters on it too! They did the prison already even though it was super inaccurate! -

Ive always found it crazy they never went for a Veronica set. If I can make a buster that fits a minifig inside AND Splits up to all Fit inside Veronica im sure as anything Lego can do it for $500 -

I still think the Quinjet makes the most sense for the fig especially it it includes the cradle. it could work as a good polybag fig tbh. Its not that high a budget of a figure to be in one! im hoping the buster is the AoU one. The IW is cool with the curves but just not as iconic even though it had two appearances. 500 would be a great price point to do Veronica AND the buster tbh. 300 on the Ship and 200 on the mech could work well! It would end up more than double the size of my own at that pricepoint! -

That ironman fig is very intriguing as its from the Birth of Vision Scene where he repulsors and then unibeams cap.which would make a awesome standalone set if not a great part of a full tower set. It would make no sense to come alongside a Infinity war buster imo. Even though its early the January quinjet would make a ton of sense as its more likely to be the Stark Quinkjet over the first one. Stark quinjet was in 8 films unlike the first jet being in 3. -

I usually hate angular stuff but I really like this sub. The drones are cool especially as they fit inside. Would be super easy to mod a bottom floor into it too! -

Oh my point is its that example but tenfold. Its that has had far more screentime and thus its vastly more expensive. Im guessing the Royal Talon fighter has had most screentime out of all Black panther vehicles and it had more in What If. They could have the portculus door and its pretty massive interior. it seats like 10. Still pushing a Falcon price is a lot for such a vehicle. -

In all honestly it gets more and more believable Lego would make a set on something with so little screentime. The Black Panther Jet got a set and its got like 2 seconds screentime and no actual external shots outside of concept art. If anything the MT Bashenga would have been rad. Do it like Jangs mountain base (obviously smaller) Where the front half is mountain and back half open. Could have had some great builds like Shuris Lab with the staircase that was a dril and the Statue outside where Killmonger died. They could have even had a bit of rollercoaster track in there for the vibranium carts. -

Sanctuary 2 with a Leviathan and a small army would be amazing with a few missing Endgame Figs. Put a nice little technic assembly inside so the turrets can all rotate together and pivot up etc. -

Yknow what. Maybe its not the Avengers Quinjet as different one makes more sense. The AoU quinjet was in the most films. AoU, Widow, Ragnarok, Civil War, Spidey Homecoming, Infinity War, Endgame to name a few EDIT: Welp vehicles debunked then? -

You're saying the 2021 benatar was so good that they decided to make a actual UCS version despite the last one only just coming out and people already call it a UCS? Like I guess if it had the actual drop pod I guess? but not this soon. give it a couple years or GOTG3 The Milano would make more sense as a new GOTG set tbh -

Interesting it isnt either Tower, Was really looking forward to how Lego would do Avengers Tower themselves to compare with my own. But in all Honestly I Didnt think they would attempt/Could Stark Tower at that price range. No doubt Lego could do the external of Stark Tower and a breaking Sign play feature but because of the size needed for certain parts they would really have to make some changes in order to flesh out the interior of the top floors like the "bar" , Stark and Loki scene or even a MK7 pod. Heck fitting hulk in there will be a challenge as the upper floors above the flight deck will be the smallest as opposed to Avengers tower where the Smaller floors are Below the flight deck. Also Threw off my prediction this set would have the last 3 stones as the sanctum had Time, Space and Reality. Didnt want to see a Helicarrier. I supposed the old one about 50% bigger could have a couple rooms inside at fig scale like the Bridge, Lab and the Prison (Drop out play feature ofc) Wayyyyy too early for Spidey NWH sets. Dont get why everyone was expecting a Liberty. A Marvel set like the Harry Potter one would always work but It really seems like they were saving budget for this set (ignoring the 20 or so "bins" the armory and sanctum each got) So Figs make sense. So thinking that, its been 10 years since Avengers. A Bridge Diarama with the Big six, A Brick Built leviathan and a bunch of Avengers brick builds could be a idea? Lokis Staff, Tessaract, Widow Stingers, Grapple Arrow, Arc Reactor etc. Thats my current prediction! -

I honestly though the tacos was the kind of joke that Lego would include. The Hp one had foot items and what food is really that iconic in the MCU apart from Scwarma?
