It doesn't sound as though it will be very big. I would have liked it to be as tall as the Haunted House. With any luck this one will sell really well and we might see a bigger one, akin to the modulars, in the future. Even if this one is on the small side, I'm pretty sure I'll be buying it. My wife and I have been talking about how cool a Disney Castle in LEGO would be for a while. My dark age was when the Harry Potter sets came out, and she would have loved a Hogwarts Castle. This will be a nice substitute, regardless of the size.

Is anyone here excited about the prospect of the upcoming Disney Cinderella's direct to consumer Castle? I'm not keen ot incorporate it into my Castle collection, but I'm happy to add it (assuming it looks awesome) to my LEGO collection (though technically it will belong to my wife ).

I don't know why anyone would be anti-facade. Surely that is the only way to get a sufficiently tall and detailed set. Even interiors will necessitate a compromise in the presence of this thing when viewed from the front (which is all its inspiration needs to do). (Also just signed up to be involved in this discussion... a September release will conincide beautifully with my wife's birthday (she's gonna flip!).) EDIT: Sorry, that sounded really snarky (especially for a first post), I know why people might be anti-facade, I just think it would be best if this one was just a facade.
