I find it hard to believe that Tierro would have any reason to lie at this stage, so I think we can trust what he has to say. The best way to determine if his investigative action is sane is to: Vote: Jissaleh Blaxen (JimButcher)

Oooooh, it's so preeeeetty! I'll gladly hold onto this for the group; I'm sure we'll be pooling our treasures at the end of this quest, so I won't run away with it. In the meantime, I'll also drink a canteen of water.

Well, at least we manage to have the now-traditional breakfast, but I was sort of expecting sausages on the menu.

Mafia School: Cirque du Freak
Pandora replied to badboytje88's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
badboy, your game looks great! I look forward to watching, and I wish you and your players the very best of luck. -
Thanks Barur! A happy ending; something died, I killed it, and we all survive unscathed and grow in power. Awesome. Now, who wants to grab the staff? I'm worried again about nasty surprises.... And is there anything else we should be looking at around here? Anything to dig up, perhaps?

I really hope you feel better soon. Don't worry, in the meantime we'll try to get you levelled up a bit. Focus on feeling better and come back when you can.

Prison Riot! Confirmation and Discussion Thread
Pandora replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Rufulzud here and... wait, did I say this already? Maybe I just thought it.... -
Barur and Amorith, we need you to survive the battles so that you can grow with us, but we also need to ensure we finish the battles. I would suggest that Barur - you heal both yourself and Amorith, as it may yet take more than a few of us to finish this warrior and Sylph's battle skills may be called upon. We'll hopefully be able to rest again tonight to regain lost Ether and Health, our priority is to safely ensure we all see this battle victorious. With that said, I shall cast Darkness magic on Undead Humanoid Warrior A from the back row. Don't worry Larry, we'll get you some booze at some point, I'm sure.
-
Urgh, and ow! I'll stick with Warrior B, I think, and cast Darkness from the back row again.
-
Once again I cast Darkness from the back row, but this time on undead humanoid Warrior B.
-
Shiny treasure and things to kill. I shall cast Darkness on the Undead Humanoid Warrior A from the back row.

I'm guessing you were converted. I assume that's why there's no reason to fight; that makes the numbers work. And I also assume that's why we saw this: The only thing that changed how we were thinking lately. For what it's worth, before I sit in the corner and enjoy the remaining time with myself, and because I feel it is my duty rather than that it will achieve anything, I Vote: Shalonda Cunningham (Shadows)

No, no worries, like you say we'll sleep soon. I was just highlighting that there are lots of choices we can each make, which in turn make the game more enjoyable as we play it.

Wonderful. I shall re-assert my statistics then, including the other amendments: Power: 17 Health: 12/15 Ether: 13/15 Gold: 23 Inventory: Dawnstar II (WP: 6), Ruby (Fire), Amethyst (Darkness), Topaz (Lightning), Sapphire (Wind), Sandman's Parasol, 2 Potions, Remedy, 4 Tonics, Holy Bomb, Bedroll, Bone, 4 Canteens of Water Can we sleep here?

Actually, I kinda think I can probably choose to do more things than anyone else at the moment. Like everyone else, I can choose to use an item, or a physical attack, and (like clerics) I can also choose to use magic. Except even then I have a variety of elements to choose from. In that particular situation I was actually planning to use a physical attack from the back row. It would have saved me losing an Ether point, and certainly would have been enough to finish off an enemy with 3 health even if I were attacking from the back row. The chances of it connecting would have been exactly the same as with a spell. I know we're all keen to keep the quest moving, and it is a fine balance, but I'd like to point out that there are quite a few actions that I could have chosen.

First things first, I shall drink one of my canteens of water. I'm glad we made it through that battle, well, most of us anyway. It's a shame Amorith and Barur couldn't survive long enough to become stronger, but those were exceptionally high level beasties (compared to you) and you both fought valiantly. I think we should pick up the stone next to the treasure chest that seems to fit the treasure chest's keyhole and see if we can open it. I shall be mightily annoyed if another wrong-un leaps out and there's no treasure inside, though. But let's hope for nice, shiny things. Oh, and I agree about splitting the proceeds from the sale of the dagger between all of us. I think I'll do a quick check of my belongings and my status: Hmm, I think my health is 13 after drinking the canteen, but I'm not sure... It was certainly 12 at the end of the battle. Given that it's night-time, after we've investigated the chest, perhaps it would be safe to sleep here??

I thought we were onto something with Bethany. Sorry. We were doing so well, but now things look a little bleak, especially with "Kevin's"( ) murder last night. So now, should we be looking at the quiet ones...? Although that in itself doesn't exactly narrow things down. As Shalonda has said, anything anyone can think of that might be helpful, well now's the time to spit it out (so to speak).

A warm welcome to you Griggs! The mafia games are lots of fun, as many here will attest, not just Hinckley. Having played both the school games that have been run so far (the only person to do so, I think), I'd highly recommend them as a way to start out, but beware! It really can become life-consuming! I must say, however, your honesty and willingness to reveal your secrets will not be long-lived in a mafia game! See you around in the Games forum, and other places too.

Oooh, I do feel a little woozy, have I been drinking again? Oh, but only so woozy as to have lost 3 health, not 6, as I was in the back row. Don't worry, though, I'm sure I'll be back to firestarting form for the next round, I'm only stunned; don't give up Sylph, Larry! The scarab only has 13 health left and although we cannot revive our comrades now (as we are lacking any phoenix essences), I'm sure we can heal them (or in Barur's case they can heal themselves) back up to full health once we've annihilated this nasty beastie.
-
Hurrah, one down, one to go; and Boomers sweetie, I think any records would note that I slayed that particular beast, but who's counting? I shall cast Fire on the Super Scarab from the back row. Burn in hell, stinky scarab.
-
Yay! Onto the killing! It's been far too long since I killed something! The Grand Guardian looks like an ideal target for my magic (my Darkness magic specifically - being Humanoid), so I shall cast Darkness magic on the Grand Guardian from the back row. And oooooh! A treasure chest!
-
Excellent idea Larry! I was about suggest the same thing; you never know what we might find.
-
Happy Birthday Erdie! Have a lovely day.
-
I believe we're all at full Health and full Ether after that delicious dinner (whatever it was), good sleep (except for Boomer's snoring) and delightful breakfast, so I'm ready to get going! Nyx waves cheerily at the market woman, who may be scowling back... it's difficult to tell in the bright sunshine...

Another superb Sci-Fi MOC! The green looks wonderful and each smaller vignette is crammed with detail and humour; together, they look even better. You are a Master of Sci-Fi MOCs!
