For future reference, all the information for calculating these stats is contained in the very first post of this topic (notably the second picture in the first post). I find myself referring to this when I level up to ensure my stats are correct. Speaking of which, I'd just like to point out to Zeph and Sandy that I finished Scuba's quest at level 17 not 16, as has been posted in the 'Closed Quests - Quest #30' section of the hall.

Knowing she is travelling to Dastan, Nyx browses the stalls in the Marketplace, unsure where to spend her money first. She decides to first hand over her Blacksmith's Writ of Service to Anwyl to upgrade her Book of a Thousand Creatures to WP: 13 and while she's at it she sells the Longsword (WP: 6) for 30 gold giving her 215 gold to play with. That done, she spots a fascinating stall she hasn't seen before, filled with all the magical paraphernalia she could ever want, but sadly can't quite afford. Having considered her current elemental strengths, Nyx decides to buy a Garnet for 100 gold and a Healing Staff for 50 gold from Elphaba, leaving her pockets lighter at 65 gold. Remembering the trouble she'd had keeping her Ether topped up previously, she wanders over to Portia's and, after a brief exchange of pleasantries and chit-chat, buys two Grand Tonics for 60 gold leaving her with a paltry 5 gold. She does however feel far better prepared for the potential challenges ahead.

Nyx had been sat with a maudlin expression, thinking over the events of her previous quest as the conversations whirred and whizzed around her. She remembered, however, that that disappointment had spurred her on to sign up for further questing. Wandering over to the questboard to see what was going on she notices that she has been chosen to travel to Dastan. Not only that, she will be questing with Atramor and his still-unroasted chicken again, however the other names on the list are unfamiliar. She shrugs a little, the information on the board suggests her questmates had been in a fight or two, so things would probably be ok. A broad grin now spreads across her face as she realises with glee what she needs to do next.... Shopping.

I always enjoy seeing the tube stations you transform into LEGO, and while this is maybe a little smaller than some of your previous builds, it is of the same very high standard. It really (like the others) reflects the architectural style of stations built in that era, and I especially like the curved wall of the waiting room. Really, really nicely done.

Etzel, no! As CopMike says, there will be more events and a job is very important, but you will be sorely missed. I was very much looking forward to seeing you again, but this means there will have to be far more pictures to make you feel as though you are truly there. Nyx returns to Heroica Hall feeling somewhat uneasy. As she walks through the great doors, she blinks a little, taking in the hustle and bustle of activity. She carefully picks her way across the room towards the bar, and slumps forward onto it - her head in her hands as she looks at Scheherezade with an expression somewhere between sadness and anger. "A very large and very strong drink please Scherry." Nyx downs the drink in one go, visibly relaxing. It is only now noticeable that the atmosphere around her has become less tense. She sighs, closes her eyes for a moment, and reopens them with a new expression of determination on her face. The questboard attracts her attention, and she walks over and studies each proposition carefully. After due consideration she decides to sign her name under Quest #30: Ambassadors of Dastan. She feels the need to hit something. Hard. And then set fire to it.

Nyx hands 145 gold and a Blacksmith's writ each to Cronk, Atramor and Rufindel, keeping the same for herself.

"I must agree with Cronk here, I remember you saying: What you said then, along with the 'Dead or Alive' part of the wanted poster did kinda imply to us that you wanted him taken down. i.e. Dead. We did what you asked of us. What you verbally asked of us. This doesn't really seem quite fair. Aaaaand he was actually quite tough to kill. It sounds like you'd kill him on sight now anyway. "

Nyx yawns and stretches, feeling eminently better for a little rest. She watches Atramor swooshing his new sword, with a hint of amusement on her face, before speaking. "Ahh yes, I feel my connection to my magics again.... all the better for killing people with. You're right Atramor, Donny did indeed mention an assault, but he didn't specify that it was the guardhouse he was assaulting. We'd be wandering aimlessly around the docks again if we head back there though, so we may as well head back to the guardhouse and make sure it's ok. "

"I'm surprised you're so squeamish, Atramor. Take the Black Katana and a Wooden shield and I'll take Barr's head. "Time to tidy up and consolidate, perhaps." Nyx grimaces, feeling the bloodlust rise. She steps forward, and in an effort to conserve some precious Ether, she physically attacks the Swordsman A from the front row with her large book. Edgar the brave little spider prepares to pounce on the Crossbowman from Nyx's side in the front row. Party Order: Cronk Nyx Atramor Edgar Rufindel Small note: the spider was in the back row last round, so would have taken half damage - which doesn't matter thanks to Ru's miracle.

"I was going to suggest we all focus on the three enemies not being protected, but I see no point in Edgar just taking damage from the Crossbowman when he can target the protected Crossbowman and stand a chance of not being damaged. Obviously we shall ignore Swordsman B, for now. How about Atramor punches Swordsman A in the face, I'll take on the Spearman, and Rufindel and Cronk deal with the Halberdeer - their paladinness/ clericyness hopefully reducing the risk of there being a Special effect?"
