LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
DEAD1974 replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Tatooine battle pack is fine Yoda´s home have a bit funny build but not bad -
yes I have seen it ... and it just confirmed that 6211 is the best Star destroyer ever, this one in the review its an easy pass for me. P.S. the hologram is lame as its the same like Palpatine one
-
Kylo Ren´s Tie Fighter is a bit weak to me, so hopefully the Bomber will be fine, and thanks for the review just2good
-
Oh fine, I was afraid that Palpatine was resurected ...
-
Snoke is looking at hologram of whoom ?
-
The First Order Star Destroyer is kinda small I compared it to 6211. The Resistance bomber seems really interesting to me. The Heavy Assault Walker .... I still dont know, maybe some video review will help
-
hm... I apologize, but I did not know that if I say " Last Jedi have a really small chance for me " it means I hate it... probably the language barrier... and yes movie opinions does not belong here I also apologize that I have explained my opinion about the new sets (like 100 of others do here)
-
sure after Rogue One the Last Jedi have a really small chance for me. But in other hand Its good as I do not like any of the TLJ sets.
-
OK so to be more specific, LEGO (imao) is at first place a toy, so it need to have some play functions (again just my opinion) and yes I agree the sets like Death Star, Evok Village and Sandcrawler are UCS but they have play functions so they are not only for display. To be honest I will be more happy to see an UCS Cloud City from 7000 pieces with play functions.
-
Exactly my point of view
-
Sir Von Lego those sets are for 2017 or 2018, pardon me for asking if it is mentioned somewhere before, but I did not seen it. Thanks
-
as I have seen the Vader set review on JANG... so we are getting the 3rd skin variation of the Vader... anyway I mostly like the gray one.

Thanks for the info, basically you told me what I was afraid off. In this small set is not a huge trouble and it bother me not too much. But if this will happen to me with set like a Death Star... I will be more that disappointed. -

Hi all, I bought one older set 75049. It was new (bags sealed and so on) and when I started to build it, I have noticed that some of the white pieces are yellowed... so is this normal, if yes so I am bit surprised that LEGO use so cheap plastic that become yellowed even its in the box just due its age... -

Maybe I am the only one who really don't care and don´t want the UCS MF , but I really wish that it will be out even tomorrow, so we finally can move forward to some other and hopefully more interesting sets.

so in one sentence - lucky YOU
-
Interesting, so in some countries are the sets available even they are still not LEGO shop.

TRAIN TECH Help, General Questions & Talk to the Staff
DEAD1974 replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
OK you convinced me PF is the choice, my only issue with it is the plastic look of tracks...but as I have seen on videos LEGO train builder use the 9V style trucks with PF trains. So probably I will try to make that mix too. yes that is what I was thinking about, so as it seems I cannot have everything ... but nevermind- 578 replies

TRAIN TECH Help, General Questions & Talk to the Staff
DEAD1974 replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Big thanks Daedalus304, huh... so now after all these examples, it seems more likely for PF, but how about rail signs? Is there a solution for them in PF? As I can imagine how it works in 9V, but how are they supplied in PF? Also you are mentioning some 3rd party manufacturer for PF track and switches, so is there among them so called "the best manufacturer", or do I have to try them myself and than make a decision ? Thanks- 578 replies

TRAIN TECH Help, General Questions & Talk to the Staff
DEAD1974 replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Hi, thanks for all the answers and explaining. So far it seems for 9 Volt. I have few more question. Is it possible with 9 Volt to run at once more trains but with a different speed? Is it possible somehow to use together the 9Volt motor with RC? I mean that the loco will take the power from rails, but will be controlled by RC? Thanks- 578 replies

TRAIN TECH Help, General Questions & Talk to the Staff
DEAD1974 replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Hi all, I like to start to build LEGO trains, but I am still not sure what is better. RC or 9 volt or 12 volt? RC looks nice but the idea of using tons of batteries is a bit strange. I know that the 9 volt is discontinued but still looks more friendly, as I was playing HO scale model trains as a kid. So if someone would be so nice and can tell what are the +/- for both of them it will be really helpful for me. Thanks- 578 replies
