  1. OOC: Wow, that is a tempting offer! It will unfortunately end up giving us away, however... I'm going to take a few minutes to think about it. "I thank you for you generosity, sir knight! However, there is a drawback to my special power. In order for my power to be restored, I must drink a Grand Tonic mixed with a Phoenix Essence and several other ingredients, such as four newt eyeballs and three leaves from a birch tree."
  2. I'm glad you're enjoying it!
  3. OOC: Will the Tonic actually restore my ether, or is it just for story purposes?
  4. "I would love to restore the helmets of your guards, but I unfortunately used up all my ether healing my companions. Erasing time is hard work!"
  5. "As a matter of fact, I'm also a cleric. But, I'm a cleric with a very unique kind of power. Instead of actually healing my target's wounds, my power engulfs the target and slowly erases time for it. That's why our armor looks perfectly well; I erased a bit of time to heal all my companions' wounds, and the armor was restored as a bi-product."
  6. "There's no point. The guards at the entrance are dead. When we were walking down Eubric Highway, we were attacked by a band of ruffians. They took most of our wares and almost killed us, but we were able to get away and hide in the bushes near your campsite here. The ruffians entered your camp a short while later and killed the guards at the entrance. They then proceeded to loot your supply tent and the servants' tent. Please help us, the ruffians are still looking for us!"
  7. "Greetings, sir knight. We are traveling merchants, and we've come to see if you and your companions would like to buy anything." Tomas whispers quietly, "Leo, if need be, we may have to use your diplomacy skill. De'kra, please use your cloak to see what their stats are."
  8. "Hmm... I think it might be best for us to go to the tent with the splotched name next, in that case."
  9. "How many are there? I have no doubt that we'll be able to take a few more like the first guards we fought, but if there's too many of them, we might want to get ready to retreat."
  10. "Look at all that loot!" "I will give the pickaxe to Thormanil and the shovel to Benji. It seems that everyone who needs a bedroll has one. Does anybody want this one to sell/trade when we get back to the Hall?"
  11. "I agree, let's head to the Supply Tent."
  12. Egghead has finally arrived! Let's scramble those undercover agents!
  13. "No, we should definitely stay together. The one with the blotched name might be worth a visit though."
  14. "I agree." "Does Tent E sound good to everyone?"
  15. "I think we should visit the leftmost tent first."
  16. Order of action: Leo Xander Thormanil Cinna Ad-Hoh Benji De'kra Tomas "I will attack Lion Footsoldier B from the back row!"
  17. Challenge accepted. "I think we should go ahead and attack the guards, since we can probably finish them off in one round. Plus, that map will be useful."
  18. "Well, those footsoldiers look easy enough to beat, but that 'sound the alarm' action sounds rather troublesome." "Mr. Shawe, would it be possible to kill those footsoldiers without waking everybody in the camp up? I think it would be best if we could sneak it quietly."
  19. "The brown cloaked man is a Lion Knight? Well, that saves us some trouble." "This means that the Lion Knights are working with whoever issued the Wanted Ad. Do you think the man in the dark gray cloak was a Hinckwell?" "De'kra, could you use your cloak to determine the stats of the guards?"
  20. Actually, that's 24 people in total, which is exactly the number of players needed to fill all the roles.
  21. "Let's follow him, then."
  22. "I don't know." "Mr. Shawe, which man is going to Bric'lin?"
  23. Tomas waits until the two have left before whispering to the others, "I wonder what all that was all about?" "Since it is on our main route, I suggest we follow the one heading to Bric'Lin. If we're lucky we can catch him before he gets there."
  24. "So there are no Shadeaux markings on the burning torch at all?" "That's a good idea, Thormanil. If anything illegal is going to happen at this shed, it's likely to happen at night."
  25. "I would like to examine the barrel for any markings or insignias, and then I would like to pick up the barrel and see what's underneath it." "Also, I would to compare the torch in the barrel with the one currently burning."
