  1. I don't know what you guys are talking about, everything's just the same as usual for me. There's no Mimecraft or anything here. And why does purpleparadox keep spelling April Fools Day wrong?
  2. Well, good to see this game had a happy ending! Congratulations to the winners! You did a good job hosting your first advanced game, badboy. The sets were great, the characters were all unique, the writeups were hilarious, and there were lots of strange and interesting roles. However, I think you could have done a little better organizing night actions (giving def results on swils when he had commuted and not giving the Secret Agents a killing action when they had completed their incredibly unlikely objective of rolecopping Scuba), and I don't like the idea of giving each of the four brothers a weak investigative action. Each character should have an equal chance of getting any role. I had a fairly good time this game. After my performance in IMHOTEP, I figured it was about time to step up my town game and take on a role similar to the role I took on in Isla Paradisa. Unfortunately, my actions on Day 1 caused me to look pretty scummy in the eyes of more than a few people, so my 'leadership' attitude kind of backfired in the end. All in all, I learned something important (you can't lead well if you're not clear), so it was a game well played in my opinion. Here's my role PM:
  3. "I agree with Erdathcath. Those little potion shops usually have all sorts of strange potions and such - and sometimes for low prices. It would probably be a good idea to head over there first."
  4. I vote: Sylvia (Zepher). Sylvia is the only person I know I can trust (besides myself), and I like her idea about clearing Sheldon once and for all.
  5. Okay, here I am. Sorry for not coming in to argue against Fred earlier - all that sniffing blood had me feeling lightheaded for a while. I think Sylvia's idea of verifying Sheldon with the votes today is a great one. Sylvia and I are verified to one another (and really, people of Phasma Diabolus, have we been anything other than blatantly not demons), so this will tell us the affiliations of Sheldon, Siegourney, and Diana. I can confirm this - at the end of Chapter 5 I was given that action that Samantha received after Chapter 1. At the end of the chapter, I have the ability to throw three gems into the water, but I don't know which gems belong to which people after I've thrown them. And need I remind you that I'm not the only one in that group? Why would people immediately look at me and assume that I'm a demon when both of you have just as good of a chance of being 'untrustworthy' as I do? And why would people single me out in particular? If I was a demon, no way would I make up something like that, and I certainly wouldn't drag one of my partners into it. Not automatically, but I'd say there's a very high chance that it makes you a demon. It's the process of elimination, you see. To be honest, you really never did all that much. All you did was lead us on a bunch of wild goose chases throughout the temple looking for evidence that somehow made people think you could be trusted with clues. And of course you worked hard at the challenges to make sure you were always partly in control of who got the clues. Also, what about our claims is 'vague'? We've laid out our evidence and our dynamic actions very clearly. Okay, cool, that means it was probably Diesel who got converted first (although the tan fabric clue was reported by Fred), but I'll clear things up about that tonight. I kind of figured that's what it was. This has been bothering me too, but reread Chapter 1. The Monk was explaining the situation to everyone, and then we all had a 'glitch' or whatever and the puddle appeared. Plus, the Monk showed us a vision of a person being converted right where the first puddle was. I guess the original demon made his choice while we were having that glitch before the game started. You know, technically, he said that the person's name wasn't on the tour roster. If anyone's name was the be excluded from the roster, it would probably the security guard's, to be honest. It's a roster for people on the tour, not the staff of the tour.
  6. "I have to agree with Erdathcath here. We don't know what the rest of the city holds in store for us, so I feel it might be wiser to survey out options before making our final purchases. It's up to Olinn, though."
  7. Oh, this is just the sweetest thing! Sandy, this looks like it's going to be an absolutely amazing game. I almost wish I were new so I could sign up! Good luck in hosting, Sandy!
  8. Challenge: Begin
  9. "I agree with Hoke. We should probably buy everything we need here first. If we want to split things up equally, we can do it this way: 1 Voodoo Chalice - 45 1 Crystal Chalice - 85 5 Mage Boosters - 125 (25 x 5) 1 Wizard Rum - 40 gold which comes out to 295 gold. So, if we split it evenly, we'll each pay 59 gold. Unfortunately, Olinn doesn't have that much yet, but I'd be happy to chip in the 19 extra he needs." "Although I do have a bit of a feeling that we might lose these items if we buy them here and then move on (they might get stolen by thieves, etc.), or we might even find the items for free/a better price. What does everyone else think?" "And of course, there's always the possibility that we may be able to talk one of the vendors into parting with these items at a lower price."
  10. Oh dear, another blood puddle! It looks like those nasty demons have been converting again. You naughty, naughty demons! Didn't anyone ever teach you it's bad manners to go around stabbing people with misshapen tooth-daggers? Well, it appears the group we chose yesterday can't be trusted. I think there's at least an 80% chance that the one who cannot be trusted is Siegourney. Due to my dynamic actions, I've found out some very interesting pieces of information (which, of course, I'd love to share, but I'd like everyone to please report all the clues they've received thus far first), but things just don't add up when I count Sheldon as a demon. I think it's more likely that whoever came forward with the clue about the orange hair is lying, and puddle 3 really contains pieces of Siegourney. The people who nominated her for the group clue yesterday are: Tony, Diana (Try not to make it so obvious ), and Sheldon (). Yup, Sylvia knows what she's talking about. I too am pretty confident that Fred is a demon. I actually thought Diana was the original one, but then again, that's what you wanted us to think, isn't it Fred?
  11. "Yes, I think going to the market would be best." Tomas answers with a smile.
  12. I too will Vote: William Falcon (WhiteFang).
  13. Yes, Sheldon, but that's all from your point of view. We have no reason to believe your "I'm innocent" that is backed up by zero logic over my theory, which is backed up by quite a bit of logic. Plus, I find it interesting how you said that the people who the blood puddles represent are the most clear and then you went on to vote for someone who isn't incriminated by the blood puddles at all, if the clues in puddle #3 are to be trusted (which I have reason to believe they can be). Surely, with your theory, shouldn't you be voting for someone who is represented by a puddle of blood?
  14. Thank you for being so cooperative, Fred! That clue from the last puddle coupled with my clue points to Diana. It could have pointed to me, but Diana decided to make her fake clue reddish brown hair or something like that. This pretty much confirms that Diana is a liar (and probably a demon), unless of course you and I are working together. It makes sense that you would say that, considering that everything in puddle 3 points to you. Honestly though, what do you think the puddles mean if they don't mean conversion? That clue the Monk shared with us pretty much confirms it, too. Yes, at the beginning. Remember last chapter? The Monk said that 'AT LEAST ONE' of me, Diana, and Fred could not be trusted. He wouldn't have said that if there was only one of us who could not be trusted. If I may direct your attention to this statement made by the Monk during Chapter 1: I think this basically means that everything we see here is the truth. The demon could, of course, 'plant' false clues, like you said, but I highly doubt it.
  15. Good call. I think we should survey the clues, and then let clues be distributed to people who don't have ANY fabric fibers/hairs/etc. that incriminate them. Thank you, Ingrid! I'm pretty sure I got a clue right after Chapter 3. Exactly, Silvia, but do keep in mind, the demons must have started out with one member, and the blood will probably not point to that person at all (now watch as the demons make up clues incriminating their leader ).
  16. "Thank you, Olinn!" Tomas says as he puts the gold and the pass in his bag.
  17. Okay then, good morning (or whatever ) everybody! You'll all be very interested to hear that I found a fiber of dark tan fabric in the fourth blood puddle. Combined with Diana's clue, this points to Richard (although it varies depending on what your definition of reddish brown hair is). Or, of course, Diana could be lying. I'm inclined to believe it's the latter as a matter of fact. Plenty of people have dark tan pants, so it's definitely possible that Diana was trying to cover for one of them (or even for herself ). After all, there's nobody with dark tan pants and a reddish brown hair here, so it stands to reason that either Diana or myself is lying. I know I'm telling the truth, so, by process of elimination, that makes Diana's clue the phoney. On that note, I'd like to share a very interesting theory I had with you all. We keep seeing these blood puddles (almost) every chapter, right? But we don't know where the hell they came from - right? The Monk clearly said that the blood from each respective puddle once belonged to someone here, but he also said that nobody could lose that much blood without being very dead. In addition, nobody is visibly bleeding... Hmm... Now, if I may, I'd like to draw your attention to this clue the Monk so kindly gave us after a satisfactory number of us competed in the challenge several chapters back: As you can see here, a perfectly innocent looking dark figure is standing around the pool and holding a clear, pure, gem. I wonder what that gem could signify? Suddenly, a not-so-innocent dark figure comes up from behind this first dark figure and shanks him/her in the back with some sort of tooth (not one of the shark teeth we all have, though - those teeth are smaller), or maybe a dagger of sorts. And then, whaddyaknow? That first dark figure is standing in a puddle of blood, and the gem he/she was holding has now turned green! Please note that the blood puddle this figure is standing in is in the same place as the first blood puddle. My theory is that each blood puddle represents a different person in this room, and all those fibers of clothing and hairs we keep finding in these puddles come from the person who the blood puddle represents. Now, many have suggested that these puddles signify that certain people are in 'danger' of being hurt, which is a perfectly plausible theory, but the clue proves that wrong. When the second dark figure stabbed the first one with the tooth-dagger-thingy, the first dark figure appeared in a puddle of blood, and his/her gem turned a different color. My theory is that the second dark figure is, in fact, the demon we've been looking for. In between chapters, the demon goes out and stabs somebody, that person's gem turns green, and then a puddle of blood with evidence suggesting that the blood in the puddle belongs to that person appears. Notice how sometimes the Monk says that we have kind of a 'glitch'? That's time freezing (trust me on this, it's a real thing) while the demon turns someone's gem green. The hard part is; what happens to these people who get stabbed? Do they get converted? Do they die? I'm pretty sure nobody's dead, so I'm willing to believe that it's the former. Each night In between chapters, the demon converts one player to his/her team. Remember how the Monk said that we had until about Chapter 8 to catch the demon before Vacuus rises and devours our souls or something? If the demon team started out with one person and grew one more each chapter, they'd currently be at 5 people. If we include the interlude between chapters five and six (even though there was no new blood puddle there) and we counted all the way up to the end, there would be, in the end, 8 demons. That is a majority out of 14, and therefore, the demons would win. I'm not quite sure how things fit together since there weren't any blood puddles the last couple of chapters. I'm willing to believe that there wasn't one at the beginning of Chapter 5 because the Monk was resuming life after a while, and I do think I know why there wasn't one this chapter, but I'd like to hear some other opinions on the matter before I share that information. Now, I have quite a bit more information (some pretty juicy stuff too!), but before I share it, I'd really appreciate it if EVERYONE could compile a list of all the clues they have received so far (revealed already or not) and share it with the whole group. Sharing your clues in public only hurts the demon(s), so it's in everyone's best interests to do so. I'm positive that the demon(s) will lie about their clue(s), but with everything out here on the table, I'm sure we can tell the fake clues from the real ones. I understand that these are your clues, and I have no right to demand that you bring them forward, but I'm serious. I think we are very close to solving this, and getting all the clues out there will make things loads easier for all us non-demons. Please?
  18. Oh man, that is gorgeous! The bank itself is beautiful, and the carnivorous plants are awesome! It's also good to see that you took my advice about the lamppost and the car.

  20. I'd love to adopt De'kra.
  21. "Yes, we should definitely go to see the officials."
  22. "I believe 'Adrarenad' is the name of the city, Erdathcath." "Jobe was saying that we would need authorization from the city to go see the officials."
  23. Thank you for the overhead view of the blood puddles, smartass voice! Looking at them now, I can't help but feel like their positioning is significant somehow, and there's a definite pattern to them. There are two puddles on each side of the pool, and Puddle #2 is one stud higher than Puddle #1, and Puddle #4 is two studs higher than Puddle #3. I don't know if that means anything or not, but it's something, I guess. I liked the sound of Fred's clock theory, but I don't think that's what it is. I have to agree with you there. Diana has been working hard to catch the demon, so I will Vote: Diana (Fugazi)
  24. Really? I was under the impression that shields could be used by anyone. Oh well.
