Yeah, but I can understand why it's so hard for LEGO to make a good Droideka. It's nearly impossible to make it both articulate and the correct size.

Wait-you plan to build a full size wall out of LEGO?

Wow, a feather, I really didn't see that coming. However, I think you should've used figurative suspense on him instead. -
Modular Apartment Building. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!

Did you turn LU mode on? All the bricks appear red at first, but you can use a color picker to change them to tan or gray or whatever. -
Modular Apartment Building. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!
Tamamono replied to LegoCityFanatic's topic in LEGO Town
Not necessarily. The original tan baseplate wasn't completely covered in the Grand Emporium. -
Okay, fixed. Thanks, Aanchir, colors were one of the main things I wasn't sure about while building. I guess they don't call you the colour master for nothing!

Modular Apartment Building. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!
Tamamono replied to LegoCityFanatic's topic in LEGO Town
First of all-welcome to Eurobricks, LegoCityFanatic! Like lightningtiger says, it's a good start. However, it needs a lot of work before it can be called done. The sidewalk is nice, but I would suggest using a 32x32 gray or tan baseplate instead of a green one. Also, you should really wait until the general structure of the building is done (at least the ground floor) before adding little details like furniture. I don't think LDD will let you put the letters in the mailbox because there aren't any studs inside of it. For example: a minifigure can stand on a SNOT (Studs Not On Top) sidewalk fine in the real world, but they need to stand on studs in LDD due to it's programming. Also, do you have LU mode turned on? If not, here's a tutorial on how to enable it. Good luck on that apartment building! -

Did I just hear Hinckley say next mafia game? Hopefully it will be as brutally adorable as this one is! -

Yeah, but how can you eat any "stuff" (good or bad) when, right outside the window, there are severed heads rotting on poles? To live, or not to live: that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler for the Mafia to suffer The torturous fruits of an angry lynch mob Or to take arms against them, And by opposing stick their heads on poles? To die: to sleep; No more; and by a sleep to say we end The faceless lifeguards and bloated Brazilians That the mafia hath done, 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd. And so on and so forth. That actually sounds like a good idea for one of Shadows' bloodbaths. -

Yeah, this game is kind of like Survivor, but here we stick mafia goons' heads on sticks and dead bodies turn up in pools and lifeguard chairs. -

Look at all the beautiful Star Wars LEGO... All the models are beautifully designed; and I especially like the Cantina and the Geonosian Colosseum. -

Not a problem. We were just killing time until Day 5 was put up. Looking back at what was posted, I'm starting to wonder how actually sane I am... Maybe I should check in to an Asylum. I heard there's a good one run by Dr. Blutziegel. BTW def, are you going to be hosting Bloodbrick's Asylum 2? -

Yep, I'm the only force ghost around. It has something to do with being a faceless lifeguard. Although I guess a bloated Brazilian tourist could do it, too... -

I thought so! Yeah, Cruz's death scene is pretty great with all the debris and the water in the pool; it's almost as spectacular as mine! -

Tamamono replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Good Day 5, Sandy! It seems that the Town has been on a roll since my death- good job, guys! Did you put real water in the pool for the shot of Cruz's drowned body, or did you use an effect in Photoshop/GIMP for that? Yes, but The Claw is enormous. It would take months-maybe even years to make a new one. In that time we can prepare more torturous fruits and Mafia Heads on Sticks to fend of the new Claw when it comes. -

But we could use the combined power of the Torturous Fruits and the Mafia Heads on Sticks to destroy The Claw itself, therefore making it unusable even for the operators. -

No, I guess it could be a dream, but I would have to be your projection of me.
