  1. The speed on which we’ve come to a decision about the lynch worries me. I also find Tarkin the most suspicious, so I will Vote: Grand Moff Tarkin (legomonorailfan), but I feel like coming to a conclusion this early is robbing us of discussion.
  2. I would also like to offer an apology. I am extremely busy right now, but I have some thoughts that may be useful that I will type later.
  3. Wow, this is great! 2 scum down. I didn’t find either of them very suspicious, but I’m glad that I was wrong. Captain Needa posted day 2’s day count already, so here’s day 1’s with it for further vote analysis. Final Vote Count: Admiral Daala/Rider Raider - 1 (Lady K)Grand Moff Tarkin/LegoMonorailFan - 2 (KotZ, LegoRacer1)Captain Fenton/Peanuts - 2 (LegoMonorailFan, Khscarymovie4)Colonel Dellus/LegoRacer - 3 (Forresto, Actor Builder, Tariq j)Admiral Shelby/Forresto - 3 (Peanuts, mediumsnowman, Sandy)Admiral Piett/Sandy - 2 (Kintobor, Rider Raider)Admiral Yularen/KotZ - 1 (fhomess)Admiral Komec/jluck - 6 (mostlytechnic, penalty) These scum votes seem very spread out, the only time I can recall that they both were voting on the same target was when they both voted for me day 2. These votes don’t seem very informative to me, but if anyone else can find anything from it, please share.
  4. That might not be exactly what you said, but aren’t lynching active players and lynching active townies the same thing the vast majority of the time?
  5. Vote: Admiral Piett (Sandy) I’m not going to join the bandwagon on Ozzle, because the real-life reason that I missed at first justifies his absence IMO. I’m obviously not going to join the people voting for myself, because that would be suicide. Out of the other lynch candidates, I find Piett scummiest. On day 1, he voiced an opinion about lynching the most active players. I found him the scummiest, and voted for him. Today he has only made me even more confident in his scumminess. He starts the day off by saying the scum might try to lynch him. Why? He is an experienced player, he knows that disagreeing with someone while they were alive doesn’t mean they killed them. This strikes me as odd. I agree with this. Ironic. You seem like a wishy-washy middle-of-the-roader yourself. It’s not a blatant target, because, like Tarkin said, nobody would expect the scum to do that. What kind of reactions did you expect to get? Nobody knew anything. Here’s what I meant earlier when I said he was a wishy-washy middle of the roader. I think Jellico explains what I mean quite nicely here: Thoughts?
  6. Wow, I’m an idiot. I didn’t see that, my apologies.
  7. Why would I keep my vote on her? She contributed to the discussion, and getting her to discuss things was the goal of my vote. You are taking what I said out of context. Sure analyzing dead townies’ posts is useful, but Piett was suggesting that we lynch active townies so we can analyze what they said, and I think that causes more harm than good, especially on day 1 when no one knows anything. The difference between my inactivity vs his is that he said he intended to be more active today, which was a lie. Most of my inactivity was due to me being asleep for most of the heavy discussion today. Of course I think we need a lynch today, I just said that in my first post.
  8. You’re receiving flack because you said you would be more active and pursue a lynch today, and so far you haven’t done that.
  9. Dang. I feel like the Director was chosen just to shut us out of any meaningful information. We have to have a lynch today.
  10. I was tired while I wrote the second part, and I don’t think I got the point across. I was trying to say that it wasn’t worth the risk of lynching a random active player, because they are likely to be town, and that would cripple us. Dead townies can still be wrong. If Dellus were to die in the night and flip town, would that suddenly make his ridiculous push to lynch Motti valid? No. Dead people can have incorrect theories, they too are in the dark.
  11. Vote: Admiral Piett (Sandy) I am not entirely comfortable lynching someone without any evidence or scummy behavior exhibited by anyone, but since I have to vote I will vote for Piett because of this: Lynching active scum is great, but lynching active town can slow down discussion and might be the difference between a town win and a scum win. Active townies are just as much in the dark as the rest of us, their theories aren’t any more valid because they’re confirmed town.
  12. It was just a vote to get Isard active and discussion rolling. The only post they had made at the time was fluff. Unvote: Director Isard (Kintobor)
  13. I am usually for a no-lynch day 1, and this game there is no different. I dislike the senseless lynch of a townie for no reason other than voting patterns that often go unused. I have rarely seen much use come from day 1, but from what does come from it the discussion is usually the most useful. Speaking of discussion, I would like to start some by voting. Vote: Director Isard (Kintobor)
  14. The traitors will not escape this time.
  15. Admiral Daala here, ready to find and destroy the traitors.
  16. Wow, another mafia game? Sign me up! Prequel memes, here? A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
  17. Dang. I just started reading the final quest, and I can’t possibly be the only one who noticed the entire quest’s uncanny resemblance to the story and tone of this, right?
  18. I tried to claim, but I was too late. Congrats on the win, scum team!
  19. Wow. I just read some of it, and now the lynch makes a lot more sense.
  20. I didn’t look at Trial by Jury, but maybe I should give it a read.
  21. If information is so important, then why were you trying to push “vote Dracula or don’t vote”? That doesn’t seem like it would produce much information. Not completely blind. There will likely be a kill, and all of the power roles will probably do things over night. Just because we can lynch someone doesn’t mean that we should. Mislynches help the scum in the long run, and might make the town lose time. You don’t know that. Or we could not waste an essential townie just because we can. I have never seen the day one lynch’s voting patterns be used for anything important in my mafia career. Granted, I haven’t played much, but I’m not new. Exactly, which is why we shouldn’t help them by lynching a townie.
  22. I’m not saying that wanting a lynch is suspicious, I’m saying that wanting one inactive person lynched without any discussion for an alternative vote is suspicious. Other important things like the miller claim got way underdiscussed because you are trying to push “vote Dracula or don’t vote”. Yes, voting otherwise might result in a no lynch, but is a day without content really any better? If everyone voted for me because I was inactive, would the voting patterns really matter? Lynching an inactive isn’t particularly towny or scummy.
  23. There was nobody who seemed overly suspicious when I wrote that post, but now that I look back I notice this: That seems really counter-productive. Are you trying to suggest that we stop voting for other people just because of one inactive person? That would really benefit the mafia, having a day with no purpose except mindlessly bandwagoning on a townie. Vote: Zombie Groom (Forresto)
