^^ Ah I didn't know about the bricks and pieces, i did have a look at bricklink though but decided I'd buy from Lego for a start. Is there a limit regarding parts one can order from Bricks&Pieces? They do have a much larger variety of bricks there indeed. @The Librarian Which particular tile for the plinth are you referring to? For the front I thought I'd use that letter flat tile, upside down. I think that works fine as some sort of inscription. But I could also give it a try with the grey flat tile from the Tardis interior with the linear motive and the white and red dots. Regarding attaching the Tardis, well, that won't be too firmly. I have a 2x2 tile with one knob below that green flat plate. With that the Tardis should be set in place and I can be easily oriented it in an off angle. Other than that I thought I trust in good old gravity. I'll see if this was a mistake.

Thanks for the positive response. Can't wait till I can start putting it together to see what it will be like and also if it holds. I must not look too much into the castle theme section of this forum though. My design looks more humble with every look I take at the glorious builds there. ;) PS: For this first timer, I sticked to "Pick a brick" elements and colours only.

So the story is that I really wanted to have that Doctor Who set with such a cool Tardis and the Daleks and and and. I tought about some diorama without the interior, where one can present the figures + Tardis and to put it to good use, I came up with having a diorama that is at the same time a book stopper for my shelf. It does not exist yet, outside of LDD but I am just waiting for the bricks to get started. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts, just don't be too harsh with the work of a beginner... And here with mock ups for stuff from the Doctor Who Set and from the other (book) side
