  1. Yeah, I saw how the crystal cave that the two bears live in looks like in one of the webisodes. It could make a fun challenge to figure out which pieces are needed to build a larger version of the crystal cave than what the Goblin King's Evil Dragon set comes with.
  2. Yeah, a good idea to do with some of the repeated main characters is to switch torsos and bottoms to 'make a new outfit' for them. And then to customize the additional repeats into other Elves seen in the background of some of the mini movies & webisodes; and customize repeated Goblins [as I'm trying to collect two of each set, or almost two of each set, since it would take at least two of each set to build the buildings more like how they are shown in the mini movies & webisodes].
  3. Okay, it's kind of hard to tell in some of the pictures of her [both the actual Lego figure, and in the webisodes, she's been looking like she's white with pink]. And some of the early box pictures had her looking almost the spring yellow-green color with pink [which still would be cute to see sometime, too]. Looking forward to when the sets come out here. Even though I'm still trying to get caught up with last year's sets too, lol.
  4. Actually, the new baby dragon is named Lula, and is white with transparent violet-red parts [to represent pink on her].
  5. I meant for Western Europe it seemed like the Summer Sets come out in Late May/Early June; and August has been when they finally come out in the USA. Hopefully we'll see them coming out soon.
  6. It's usually been May for when the new sets come out in Europe; and August for when the new sets come out in other parts of the world. [Based on the way it's been the last few years]
  7. Another awesome idea! Hope to see more!
  8. That's cute! Looks like a lot of fun! I'm planning to get that set soon (well, two of it actually --- to make it look more like the still pictures from the webisodes). I tried out building on LDD how it could look.
  9. Cute video! And so is the one with the panther! [That's also from the Magic Rescue from the Goblin Village set]
  10. Bricks and Pieces might work for the building at least; however, the Dragons and Elves are another matter, unfortunately. I would have gotten my sets sooner, had I known that those ones would be retired so soon.
  11. Yeah, my sister's in kind of the same situation with that set for my niece. Had a chance to get it before Christmas [which my sister had asked me to do], but since she and my niece were along shopping that day, she made a big deal not to get it since my niece was along; and it just had to be the last copy of that set that store had, too. And then it was gone from all of our local stores not long after. And it was surprising also since my sister usually says it's best to get stuff when it's on sale. I knew that my sister should have just let me get it then for my niece, and not make a big deal about my niece seeing it early. [[ Is it really my fault if my niece insisted on walking with me to the toy aisle? ]] I know I'm just as puzzled as to why they retired that set so soon, compared to the ones that had came out earlier in the year. Almost need a friend that's either right in Denmark, or has lots of money, lol, right? Or be able to buy up the sets you want super early and fast --- even if you think they might have a longer 'shelf-life' or not, right? I still don't have Skyra's Mysterious Sky Castle yet for my own set. At least my sister was able to find a good deal on it on Amazon.com for my niece's collection. After my niece had asked me a few times in 2015 to build [and later rebuild] some of her Lego Elves sets, it got me really interested in starting my own collection, and watching the webisodes online. As well as into looking up the artwork and scenes from the webisodes --- which got me to thinking that, in order to make the buildings look a bit more like how they look in the webisodes, scenes, and artwork, one almost would have to buy at least two of each set (plus figuring out the additional extra pieces needed --- good thing there's the Bricks & Pieces service, as well as the option of buying Lego Friends sets and others for parts). A fun challenge in itself, isn't it?
  12. Amazing and inspiring build! If you do add more to it, I'll look forward to seeing more pictures added of it. Really cool creation you've made!
  13. Yeah, and the Wind Dragon is lavender (in the purples section of the rainbow), actually --- not pink. But there's a problem in trying to order the pieces from Lego's Bricks & Pieces, since parts like the Wind Dragon's head, the baby Water Dragon, and the baby Water Dragon's Egg (top and bottom), and Tidus Stormsurfer --- aren't available from there. The only true way to get them is to buy the complete set, which Amazon.com, eBay, and other online 'stores' are now about the best source, unless some local stores still happen to have the Dragon Sanctuary set still in stock. I know, as I'm also surprised at how soon they 'retired' that set last year, ahead of retiring the Water Dragon Adventure set, The Fire Dragon's Lava Cave, and Starlight Inn sets. Especially since it had just came out in June (in Europe)/August (in USA and other countries), where as those other 3 had been half of the first 6 sets for 2016. I had thought originally that one has to collect the earlier wave before getting the newest one completed. Hopefully, we'll both have some good luck getting our collections completed soon!
  14. It looked like Cronan's mother let her jealousy over not being chosen to be the guardian of the portal to Earth overwhelm her, and made herself think that she needed more power to prove to her sisters that she should be in charge of it, instead of her sister [the one that was Emily Jones' grandmother]. Although, one thing that would be nice to see explained as well was where the medallion/amulet that Cronan's mother had came from and where it leads to.
  15. Amazon.com can be a good site to check for the sets. It would be nice to sometime see a set with Skyra's Fire sister; and a set with Skyra's Water sister as well --- at some point. Maybe a set in 2018 can have the Fire sister; and a set in 2019 can have the Water sister? However, it might not be in the works to see a Mini Doll of Emily Jones' grandmother [the 5th sister], as she had died prior to the start of the Elves' story. After all, the first mini movie started as having been after the funeral service had been held [not actually shown, but implied], since Emily and her parents had inherited the house that had once been her grandmother's.
  16. And I'd like to see a story that at least helps reunite Skyra with the other 3 [Fire, Water, and Wind] sisters, sometime. Maybe in 2018? Still, it's most likely that the 9th set for this year will have Farran and Aira, and maybe some more Goblins. I'd also like to see more animals come with their set --- like a purple (medium lilac) deer, new dark red hedgehog, dark azure owl, new dark red bird, medium lilac bunny, and earth blue bunny.
  17. Yeah, because when Sira said that she has an Airship, I was thinking of something the same size [roughly] as Naida's Epic Adventure Ship, just in more of the red-brown with green and purple [instead of two shades of blue]. And what was seen in the two-part mini movie was Sira's Adventurous Airglider [which is something I'm still working on figuring out which parts are needed to make it look more like how it appeared in that]. So when an Airship was announced, I was hoping that it would be Sira's. Although now, that one thinks about it, it can be cool if both Aira and Sira have Airships, right? I'd like to see them make that Hot Air Balloon piece in Dark or Bright Green; and Medium and/or Dark Azur[e]; maybe even the Flame Yellow-Orange color too. Then we could make Hot Air Balloons for all four elements [since there's already the Hot Pink/Dark Magenta-style color version available].
  18. Looks like there were some more updates done on the Lego Elves website recently. Here's a link to check it out: https://www.lego.com/en-us/elves/explore/the-capture-of-sophie-jones
  19. Brickset's website is really good about having that information. Here's a link to the page about Lego Elves: http://brickset.com/sets/theme-Elves
  20. Yeah, and from the Toy Fair pictures, it looks like the new baby dragon is white with transparent red-violet [pink]. I got a few screenshots of Aira holding the new baby dragon, and I would post them on here, but it's telling me that the file is too big. Maybe someone else got some screenshots of those scenes, too?
  21. So far, I haven't heard much about the goblins, except for Dukelin [since he has a character page on the main Lego Elves website now]. Maybe we'll learn more about the rest of the goblins soon?
  22. Would the link for the video be on the Lego Elves Media topic?
  23. Wouldn't it be nice if they sometime add a Dragon with a hot pink body and a lavender bottom jaw, along with lavender as the underbelly color? [Because one of the noticeable differences between the build for Gust and how Gust appears in the two-part mini movie is her/his bottom jaw is lavender, and yet the pieces for making her/him included an aqua bottom jaw. Of course, my idea is from the stand point of buying two of each set to make each location/building a bit more like their animated and artwork appearance. So, that said, one would be ending up with two of each Dragon, and able to make changes to the second Dragon of each element, to make male or female to match with the 5 main adult Dragons. Like I said, I'm still working on finding some or most of the 2016 sets [some I just need to buy my second copy of; while others I still need to get 2 of each]. Hopefully sometime, when I've gotten all caught up, I can, at some point, take and post pictures of how the sets look expanded. It makes for a fun challenge, right?
  24. It's cool all the sets when you see them together. It'll be fun when they come out here. I still need to get Skyra's Mysterious Castle, if I can still find it in the stores. And I'm also still working on getting the sets from 2016. I'd like to know which pieces work great for making the dark magic fountain look better than how it was in the Fire Dragon's Lava Cave Set, please.
