Royal Starship in chrome. $100- 125.
-
I've considered that, but it will run around $100 to get the chrome parts.

Most of us don't mind the look that Lucasfilm Animation went with, we just think that it looks absurd to have the as minifig faces. It would be like taking a photo of Hayden Christensen and slapping that onto the face in the name of "accuracy" and "realism".

I'd like to see some Coruscant sets. Bail Organa's airspeeder ($10). Maybe throw in a Yoda for good measure. Anakin's Jedi airspeeder with a small version of Padme's apartment ( ($30-35). Give us a nice room with a lot of trans-clear pieces to make up the windows. Include the pregnant Padme from the end of the film. Coruscant diorama (similar to Cloud City) ($80-100). 1 section for Palpatine's office, another for a senate pod or two, a small landing platform, and a large section for the Jedi Council. They don't need to include all 12 Jedi, just the ones that haven't been made available yet (which is around 6 or 7). Most importantly, we need one of Padme's chrome ships. 'Nuff said.

Yeah, that was cool, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was also because it's the first piece of merchandise from the new series.
-
Yeah, about 3 weeks ago.
-
It's Cartoon Network and re-runs on TNT.
-
It's entirely possible that the Twilight is something later in the season.
-
Spielberg might not mind, but I'd bet Universal would.

Most things Star Wars like the names "Han Solo" and words like "Lightsaber"are registered trademarks of LucasFilm. I really doubt they'd be able to pull off the ET or Enterprise (which can be seen in Coruscant).
-
Well, I've got around 8 or 10 clone troopers, all from Ep III. The "point" is that they should have stuck with the stylized look they already used. The accuracy argument is very weak when the ones based off of real people have less facial details than ones based off of the animated model. If kids wanted accuracy for their LEGO minifigs, then when you bought a set with Obi Wan, we'd see Ewan McGregor's face printed on there. Kids who want accuracy go with Hasbro, not LEGO.
-
Well I personally prefer the original style with just a black head. I think they really missed the point when it comes to the minifigs in this CW line.
-
I'd have to disagree with that one considering no skin is visible when troopers have their armor on.

I say a chrome Naboo Royal Starship. First of all, it's my favorite Star Wars ship and I figure we'll get all that other stuff in due time. This is a special set and I figure at $150, it's the only way to get this ship in chrome. We also need a few minifigs (Panaka, the Queen, Padme, and maybe the blue and yellow R2 unit).
-
The prices do seem awfully steep. I wish they would have dumbed down the Magna Guard fighter and the V-19. Not every set has to spot on as far as accuracy goes, IMO. I'd bet they could have pulled those two off pretty well in the $30-40 range.
-
The more I see these minifigs, the more I see how much LEGO missed the point on this line. The ships, though very overpriced IMO, are great looking. Change isn't always a good thing. Stick with what got you there if you've already figured it out. I can only imagine how good an official non-Anime version of Ahsoka, Asajj, and the rest would look.

I can't believe some fans feel George has betrayed them for releasing this to theaters. This series NEVER replaced any plans to do a live action movie. They felt that a lot of "mini-movies" (that's what they're treating these episodes as) could take place during the action of the Clone Wars. The theatrical release is just an easy way to get a ton of exposure for the series. It's possible that this movie will be a "preface" and not re-aired again a few weeks later, which would be a good way to get people into the theaters. Plus, many of us would have already seen these episodes once before.
-
Like I said, the flesh versions from Episode 4, which are only from the UCS Falcon at the moment.
-
Tarkin was the biggie from the ISD, so I really don't care if we get another one. It would be nice if get some Death Star troopers, though. Of course, it is Wiki, but all of that sounds plausible.
-
I'm glad, because I don't want to fork over $40 per minifig on Bricklink of fleshies Old Ben, Han, Luke, and Leia (all from Ep IV).
-
On the S@H site, you can see reviews for Anakin's starfighter along with the vast majority of reviews saying they hate the new heads. I don't think anyone would be complaining if they had left them the same. Nobody would be asking "why didn't we get animated faces?," and everyone would be content. I think these will prove to be a lot like the LULs from Ep III. The sets will probably sell well, but that doesn't mean we are happy with the minifigs. They'll eventually see and correct this error.
