Chapter 15 We arrived at the beach today. For our next quest we need to travel under water to the realm of the mermaids. Since we already found 5 crystals I decided it was time for a short break. So we stopped at the beach for a day of fun activities. Alice made a replica of our castle made out of sand and roasted marshmallows on a campfire. Noccio surfed for the better part of the day. Before he could go in the water I had to apply wood oil to his entire body so his body would resist the water. He sure knew some awesome tricks on a surfboard. Even Apprentice was having a good time. She sunbathed all day, drank cocktails and even slept for a few hours. It was the perfect day until a bunch of mermaids surfaced from the water. Crying, sobbing and desperately trying to console each other. Stupid attention whores. Apparently they were crying over their sister who sold her beautiful voice for a pair of legs. Drats, her voice was the 6th crystal. Now we have to travel the sea searching for the sea witch who took the crystal. Note to self: If I ever meet Noccio's father, do compliment him on his knowledge of the male form.
