Lots of awesome ideas. Construction is one my favorite city subthemes.

MOC: Heavy Duty Tow Truck Jamie Davis Heavy Rescue Rotator from Highwa
OctanTrucker replied to timtosino's topic in LEGO Town
One of my favorite shows. That truck is spot on. Sadly I missed out on getting a 60056 tow truck. -
Love the tower crane. Wish Lego would come out with one again.

Awesome!

Great review! I like the idea of the mining theme, but for the price I think I'll wait.

Awesome modular. The brick built bikes look great.

Amazing! Welding is one of my favorite past times. I love it! Excellent work as usual Lightning Tiger.
-
I love the warehouse scene. Lots of little details make it great. I drive a forklift at work to stuff diesel engines into buses, so I'm all to familar with that scene.

Very nice. I love freestyle motocross. That floating bike has me baffled as well.

Great Review. I can't wait to get my hands on this. Wish it had a crane to load the conveyor but oh well.

3 holes for axles on the new 88002 motor?
OctanTrucker replied to OctanTrucker's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thanks for the info. I'm still going to motorize this. Maybe I'll just buy the passenger train and gut it for its PF parts and track. -
I was looking on the lego site and pricing out on what it would cost to motorise my maersk train, and I noticed that the new 88002 motor has what looks like a center axle hole. Is this true and if so could I do a 3 axle truck or would the wheels be too close together?. Thanks from a train newb.

Sell me the Maersk engine you don't want.
OctanTrucker replied to OctanTrucker's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I am sorry, I forgot to say that that is NOT my ebay account. It is some other person who can't spell maersk. I want to give everyone on here first shot. -
Sell me the Maersk engine you don't want.

Ok I have decided to part the set that I have coming, and buy another later to keep in the box. Here are the prices for the individual pieces of the set. (1) Truck and Trailer-$20.00 or best offer (2) Grey Containers- sold (1) White Reefer Container sold (3) Minifigs. $6.00 each or $16.00 for all. obo I will keep them in their original bags if possible and the proper stickers will be included. These prices are what these items are going for on ebay. They might be a little high. Make an offer. Prices do NOT include shipping. I will ship overseas. PM me if interested. Link to ebay prices. Ebay prices This is not my ebay account, it is only a price reference! Container cars are pending. Engine of course is mine. Payment through paypal only. My set is expected to arrive on April 6th, so shipping these out would go accordingly. Thanks Todd -
Sell me the Maersk engine you don't want.

That would work. Except I'm in the United States. If you want to pay the shipping for the truck, figs, and containers we could work something out. I am sure I could ebay the cars or maybe someone on here wants to buy them. I currently have a set on the way that I could break apart. PM me if you are interested. -
Sell me the Maersk engine you don't want.
OctanTrucker replied to OctanTrucker's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
@Siegfried Good point. I wanted to avoid the hassle of trying to sell off the figs, truck, containers, and cars, although I am sure it wouldn't be too sell them. @RubeusHagrid Your not imposing. Maybe there is someone who can help both of us. -
Since I know there are some of you ordering extra sets just for the cars, I would like to buy an engine. I really only want the engine for display anyways. Shoot me a price if interested. I will pay for shipping as well. Thanks Todd EDIT- I have decided to part my set that I have coming. See 7th post for details.

Now that you guys mention it, some tiles would look better. I'll have to see what I can find, or maybe hit up good ol bricklink. Thanks for the comments.

Here are a couple of things I have been working on. The plow trucks front end is based on the recent 7638 tow truck. The tractor is based somewhat on the tractor from the farm set. I managed to make friction cylinders fit to look like hydraulic rams. Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions welcome as always.

Here is mine. Looks like those excavator tracks were a little too heavy for the stacker!

I spent plenty on this and I have to save for 2 copies of the Maersk train, so the snowblower has been put on hold for a while. I have a rough drawing of it on my brickshelf. It will be done someday in the near future though.

The original design was by Jeramy Spurgeon. I used his directions from Railbricks, but modded the design a little bit. I added the hand railings, and made the engine and hood 4 wide instead of his 5 wide. I wanted to have a minifig stand on a realistic walkway. I am into this model about $60.00. I am very happy with how it turned out, except I need to change the front grill as it is only temporary. I also need to get 1 more handrail and trim them down. I am going to add CP Rail Decals onto it. Link To Brickshelf folder The real thing. Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions welcome.
