  1. OK, i may sound like i hate them ,they are not worthless, but these are the only things i found them useful for. Also, you can link 2 pieces with it witch is also nice. There are some spots that 1x2 cheese slope can't exchange 1x1 cheese slope, like in the mudguards on this S.W.A.T. van ( i didn't build it). 1x2 cheese slopes on the flashing (warning) lights (if they existed) would look awesome! PS. Maybe here you see mudguards better
  2. Well, i think that the cheese slope is a nice brick, just because it adds the "slickiness" to the set or MOC. Also, it is a very little piece that easily gets lost, so it's nice to have lots of them. They really are useful little pieces that make our MOCs and sets look better; so no, i don't think they should stop making lots of it. They are useful for making mini houses, cars, big houses, add as a nice decoration to a wall, etc. BUT, yes they are a little, little, overused, id rather see more 1x1 plates, (not studs), they are rare(ish). What i dont like are the double cheese slopes (Traveller set), they are not useful (2 1x1 cheese slopes could easily exchange a 1 1x2 cheese slope).
  3. CCleaner rules!!! :P This Jeep is the best model you (Sariel) built. I'm just plain amazed of your building speed/MOC quality. I would build it, but i don't have the pieces. I saw your interview on youtube and pictures on your website, and i saw how "small" amount of pieces you have. Then i realized "It doesn't matter how many pieces you have, it matters how you use them". Congratulations to you sir, congratulations for inspiring other people to USE their pieces wall and to make new models. Just 1 request: Can you please make the FAP (Fabrika Automobila Priboj on Serbian) 1314?
  4. Same problem! Completely! Even (almost) same bricks cracked! I thought i'm the only one having this problem... too bad i can't contact TLG because i live in Serbia... Do you have 11 bricks cracked? I do. Strange... Also, i have a few of white slopes cracked.
  5. It depends. If the set is good i put it on a table where my lego city (town to be more exact) is. If the set is "bad" or i don't like it i take it apart and put the pieces in only 1 big container. I do not sort my pieces because i have a small collection. I haven't bought for more than 4 months. I hope my store got some new sets! They'd better watch out, 'cause when i come, the shelves will be empty in no time!
  6. *oh2* This is the biggestest (yes, double -est) collection i have seen! And is that the yellow Family Home on the pic i quoted? White City Corner bus? Awesome!
  7. Freakin' PRO! Suspension is awesome! Are there some flaws? If there aren't major ones it is... T H E___B E S T
  8. In my room. If there's no place for it, then... umm... i don't know. But there always is place, even my pockets count! Anyway, I put unsorted pieces in container (yes, only 1 big container) because my collection isn't very big and i put sets and MOC's on my table. But seriously, where to put a big collection when there's no place?
  9. No. I don't have money to buy 2 sets. I only buy one set, and if i don't like it i take it apart and store the pieces in the place for loose pieces (plastic container). I won't buy any set twice (only impulses and discounted sets are the exception).
  10. I eat the boxes. I'm not lying! I store smaller boxes in the bigger ones and no, i don't throw them away. Even the box is something valuable to me. I don't plan on selling them. I throw away the bags.
  11. ...when you hear shopping you think of Lego. ...when you bathe your bricks more often than yourself. ...when you think you can make an interlocking brick out of an Lego bricks. (I'm serious, has anybody tried that?) ...when you are an admin of an Eurobricks forum and you ban a member just for saying "Megabloks".
  12. About 11568753215796865132! Somewhere around 40. For an accurate number, ask my minifigs, they know how many people live in their town! EDIT: Me and my grammar...
  13. I am with Brickdoctor while he's with Fugazi. Nice to hear that in the Czech Republic TLC expands the plant, but that can only lead to decreasing the usage of plant(s) in China. Since there are no news on the plant(s) from China no new plants are opening or closing there.
  14. Before i fall off my chair i can only say CONGRATULATIONS! I am really impressed with this MOC! Make a tutorial! Where did you get the pieces? Is it a set? Nah, i'm kidding, but seriously you've done an amazing job on this MOC. Whoever hates this he is just jealous of your talent and skill and experience and what not!
  15. I guess it will be a trike. I hope it will be an offroader and that it will have have Power Puller wheels! But it wont be a car because we already have one and every year has a motorcycle set. Does anyone know why there are no pictures of it?
  16. This is the only "what's your favorite color" topic i viewed. I didn't look for any older topics! I forgot to say that i also like transparent colors. Especially (had to look in a dictionary to see how it's spelled ) transparent green, red...
  17. When the Lego factory closed because the machines couldn't make the sets as fast as you buy them! When the words that aren't allowed in your house are:Megablocks,Legos (only L-E-G-O) and Toy (i hate when you refer to Lego as a "toy" ) When your computer processor is made out of Lego.
  18. +2 You're right! I never liked POTC movie. It was good, but not great.Hopefully sets will be great and they'll have a lot of new pieces. Figs? Fleshies? No thanks. Maybe torsos and legs (and acessories) are good. But heads and hands are not. I can't imagine how strange would they look in my collection. BTW, they are just a licensed Pirates theme. But i like Pirates ( not very much but i like them), so maybe i'll like POTC too! Kingdoms is one of the best themes ever made! I always liked castles! Sets use normal yellow figs (but a double-faced ones ).
  19. Well, for you it's easy because you live in USA so English/American is your native language. For me it's different because i live in Serbia. Plus, those 2 languages are completely different. And my spelling is not the best too. For example, i don't know how to spell ecspecially.
  20. Haha! Just don't get me into grammar, my grammar is (very) bad. .
  21. Yes, ecspecially (i don't want to look in a dictionary to see how it's spelled, please correct me if it's spelled wrong, my English is bad ) the Extreme Cruiser, does anyone know what is it? A chopper bike or an offroader? Any pictures?
  22. Maybe, but maybe the compressor is in there as you can see in the 2nd pic that the M-Motor's power output is pointed at the cab so the compressor is probably in there. This is just a guess so i might be wrong.
  23. Thank you Sariel for these awesome pics! It has almost everything i expected it to have. It's great! Now i just have to see it in stores and beat up my wallet a little and it's in my hands! Hey, 4th picture all the way to the left (the edge of the picture) somewhere around the wheel, is that a suspension? EDIT: 2nd pic also has some springs, just look around the wheel!
  24. Yes, you're right, but they're old sets (you said you're building a collection not just 1 set) and it's always a bigger pleasure to remind how much fun you had building and playing with them. It just brings the memories back, right? It's a different feel when you rebuild a set from your childhood and when you rebuild a set from last month or so.
  25. True! Maybe it's awesome because you don't know what do you have to do, what will the instructions say, instead of already knowing 5-10 (or more) steps when you build it again! I'm glad that i'm not the only one that thinks rebuilding set over and over again is not as fun as building it out of the box.
