Exactly! That's the emoticon for "what the hell is that?" I knew you'd figure them out eventually. -
Fancier spelling errors, I bet. He'll probably start calling me Shadeaux.

Happy Birthday Admiral Biggie! One that can spell? Oh please, you're not nearly old enough for that, tell people to step it up. If age was the factor, I'd never get anything.

BANDWAGON! -
No doubt you plan to say more, since you're still posting, but I had to highlight this part, obviously the most important part since you said it first.

Sense? You expect sense? How's this for sense... He didn't blab until day 2 when I was already looking very town. I didn't blab until he died. I only had 2 days and during that time, I was the only person I could confirm to have more than a single shot action. MetroiD didn't reveal that until far too late to be useful and he'd told me enough contradictory things that it held very little weight until after he was dead, which was too late. Even then it didn't contradict CM, plus I couldn't legitimately inform anyone, since I was dead as well. I already knew that Draggy was a one-shot watcher and didn't know if another one existed, so the possibility of a protector and a one-shot protector wasn't out of the question. I had absolutely no reason to send his name out as a suspect, plus they wouldn't have lynched him based on that suspicion any more than they lynched Pandora, who was seriously a lot more suspicious looking. Enough people knew and the only one to act was the only one who shouldn't have. It was just destined to go the way it did.

Unofficial LEGO Sets/Parts Collectors Guide 1949-90s
Shadows replied to LEGO Historian's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Ah, very nice to see an update to this, Gary. I bought the 2 previous versions from you on BL and will have to consider doing so again. Are you planning to offer a special price for previous owners who wouldn't mind just downloading this update? -
Of course I did, I always read games after I'm killed.

I know what he said, I'm just trying hard not to believe it. If it really was the Forest, I was far too busy watching all of my plans go up in smoke, literally, with every reincarnation.

Something about blocks not being so obviously blocks. It confused me, too. Now the real question... wtf was up with that brown frog. That was seriously not a clue, right?

So, where's the next game sign up? Let's get going, it's time for some mafia! -
That does sound interesting. That's just because we all secretly hate him. I did not read IMHOTEP, I didn't have time to read or play when it was running, but apparently I'll have to look back at it now. During this game, someone referred me to a change in the way that night results were presented and said it came from IMHOTEP, so I had no idea what they were talking about, which I'm sure didn't help in figuring things out. Speak for yourself.

Note to future mafia hosts: There is never a right time to publicly reveal the alignment of a living player. Yay! I my tent, it's the best tent in the army! Lynching is a normal part of a normal game, but this was different, we didn't have the luxury of 20 spare players without the needs to protect 3 specific, unknown ones. You're still thinking scummy, you may have felt different if you'd been town, even though you think you wouldn't have.

I still think that the royal family members should have known each other from the start if the scum were given that advantage in a game where everyone's identity is hidden from everyone else. Alternately, no one knowing anything but having to find each other would work. Half and half, not so much. On the other hand, imagine a game with 2 teams of 3 and a bunch of neutrals who could go either way, now that would be an interesting experience. Before I died, more than 3 people knew my suspicions, including what to do if MetroiD was actually town. Can you imagine my frustration the next day? Wouldn't have mattered. The problem was the way he claimed his role made sense and actually made me suspect that he was a member of the royal family, all of whom seemed to get roles with limited uses (one-shot), like backups of the real roles. Someone either knew how the royal roles worked or got very lucky there. Ah, but I was neutral in that game. And we won, despite the host fully revealing my alignment against his own rules. So all in all, doesn't matter, had sausage. Nope, it was you. Won't explain it either, but Hinck knows. Who else metagamed Rick? Traditionally, Draggy and I get metagamed, now we have to share that with Rick? Aw, that's a shame, poor Rick. Actually, I did. To 3 people. And 1 dead one (helpful, huh?). I also investigated you the night I died just so I could officially do it the next day. Had very little to do with MetroiD, his wacky misdirections only made me feel that my suspicions were already confirmed. Wish I'd had time to do it officially, it would have made for a very exciting day. Yes, I'm wondering that myself. I had, they didn't do a damn thing with it, even when it should have been obvious that they needed to vote with JimB. I'm not going to sell out the ones who failed there, but I'll sure use it against them in the future. I :wub:d that part, I really did. There's a newsflash.
-
I still blame them for not doing the almost fundamental "go after the person who keeps sending us after the wrong people." As for telling anyone anything, I never had a chance to really trust anyone who I felt could do something useful. I didn't even know JimB was family or I would have told him not to do anything risky, but once he died and it was treated like "oh well, he didn't bother to defend himself," I know what I would have done that day.
-
I didn't notice this before... I did know without a doubt. If I had been blocked on night 1, I would have come in on day 2 and said I'd gotten a scum result on him, exactly the same way I did. Seriously. Can you imagine the confusion that would have caused the scum? A shame... Anyway, if it hadn't been obvious I wouldn't have investigated him, I would have metagamed Draggy, hoping that somehow we'd be on the same side. Lot of good that did. As for telling you, did I really promise to this time? I know I said it once before, but I've never actually intended to tell you anything that important because it would be idiotic. Why tell you something you could use against me in a future game? Silly witch.

There's rarely solid evidence, but when someone is accused by enough proven townies and the town has nothing real to go on, they usually have the sense to go after that target, right or wrong. In this case, it would have been right. And yes, you were a silver tongued devil. You'll pay for it, I assure you.
-
There was no evidence, but several people knew, they just left poor JimB out on a limb. The real question is why they let her get by the next day.
-
Good, let's keep it that way. That was the problem, he was doing all the standard scummy looking hinting at a role in public, but in private he was still saying it was someone else and he wanted me to give information that he had no reason to be given, another scum tell. It didn't help or hurt, I flat out turned Pandora over to them and they ignored it and killed the prince.
-
Eurodina. I don't remember a damn thing about that game, I may have claimed exactly the same thing, word for word. It was a tough position finding scum on night 1, but I felt like you were so damn obvious during the day that I had to go for you first. If it had been a town result, I could have made an alliance and worked some better magic behind the scenes instead of trying to make up a completely fake role to justify my ability to step forward. Then making up even more to account for being blocked without admitting it had happened was just too much to deal with. Add MetroiD being mysterious after voting with you and then telling me that he had protected you and the town was pretty much working for the scum from then on. I did make the incorrect assumption that conversions would be unbalanced and not at all likely. Still kind of feel that way, I also think that for the plot to make sense, the scum shouldn't have initially known each other, since they would have been turned into new people who didn't know each other, just like the town. Crazy game. The most amusing part for me, aside from the fake role claims, was trying to act like Hinck's rule clarification actually mattered, which it clearly didn't. It was just fun to posture about the whole thing when I knew the plan wouldn't have worked anyway. My only real goal there was to hope that one of the scum would object too much, and naturally, it was the town that did. Stupid town.
-
In your case it was mostly what you didn't say, combined with the general idea that anyone MetroiD was trusting was probably not to be trusted. Exactly! I think you trusted them more than you did me. If you'd just leveled with me immediately, things wouldn't have gotten so complicated. Just wait until you see how crazy it was and why I was forced into it.
-
Good job, scum! Scummy scum scum. SCUM. I knew something was potentially wrong with Pandora and Cecilie, but didn't have a clue on Cornelius Murdock, which made the whole thing confusing, plus the town got weak and let Pandora talk her way out of such an obvious and easy lynch. Given how much stuff I made up about my role, I'll comment more later. Count on it.

Not Town or SciFi or Action or ... ? Ok, seriously, I've never been sure where these go.

Description wins in this case, though I'll admit that the pictures are misleading because of the additional set. Considering the value of 8876 though, I'd pay the extra to have it included and doubt he intended to make the mistake (or he'd be asking more than 10 for the additional set). I wouldn't bother with additional pictures. This is one of those situations where you hopefully see the auction early enough to ask questions when pictures and descriptions don't match. I've adjusted the title of your topic to make it a little less of an emergency and moved your topic to B/S/T/F where it belongs. Good luck.

Try contacting Google. I hear they have a lost and found service for memories. Seriously.
